Two days before the party, Audrey declined the invitation, much to her parents' disappointment. They had expected that she would attend the party, especially since Lilian had accepted the invitation.
"Care to tell us why you don't want to attend, darling? Did you have a fight with Lilian? Did she offend you at some point?"
Audrey could only shake her head, unable to speak any word. She had already put herself into trouble due to them before.

Audrey's parents gave her a warm smile before heading to the Metro City to find the perfect dress and tailored suit that could match the occasion.
