"Hng. What the fuck?" Audrey let out a groan as she woke up with a throbbing headache.
She held her head with both hands before slowly sitting up from the cold, hard ground. Everything around her was a blur.
Squeezing her eyes shut for a moment, she blinked and opened them again while looking around.
Much to her shock, she couldn't recognize the place, worse—she seemed to be in someone else's basement.
As she tried standing up, she heard metals clanking beneath her. She glanced down and saw that a chain was wrapped around her left ankle.
"What the hell? Where am I?"
Audrey dropped back down, tugging the chains to free herself when a voice echoed from one of the dark corners of the basement.
"Going somewhere, Ms. Yang? We have barely started playing."
Audrey froze on her spot. Her gaze darted around the room, searching for the source of the voice.
