Meliora's stomach grumbled in protest as she took her third cup of tea. The idea Laurie had brought had ended with what she wanted. Her request was accepted.
Laurie raised her chin in silent pride as she looked at Meliora. The latter didn't even glance at her and instead focused her eyes on the meat before her.
She glanced outside the windows to find the sun setting quicker than the clock on the screen. She needed to eat something, or she might die of starvation.
She didn't know why, but her left hand raised out of impulse. "Yes, Princess Meliora?" Black asked, and Meliora jolted, swiftly pulling down her hand.
She turned to look at Black with wide eyes before clearing her throat, only for her voice to squeak. "Are we not going to eat?" she asked and everywhere turned silent.
