"Why did you change so much?" The voice was murky, and he couldn't even convey his words very well. Eina scrunched her brows into a frown at his disgusting state.
She thought slicing him off like that would kill him, but her brother had a strong will to live. She sliced the hand that held her leg, earning an earth-shattering scream from his mouth.
His long green hair was sprawled messily across his face, mixed with debris and blood. His scream turned to sobs.
Eina crouched to the floor, her eyes roaming over his body—his half-body still trailing blood behind him.
"Zeal..." She called out for him in a huff. He trembled, raising his head to look at her, his eyes bloodshot, his bloody teeth gritted. Eina scoffed. "Do you remember how much I used to beg?" She tilted her head.
No ounce of pity on her face. Zeal gulped, trying to keep his head up as he waited for Eina to speak.
