Chereads / The Espers' Omega Guide / Chapter 5 - William Dorm

Chapter 5 - William Dorm

"It's an honor to meet you, Dean Kime." Yanah has immense respect for the omegas in high position. She grew up admiring her omega father, the head of her family. Despite her father being demure and modest, even her alpha mother has to bow her prideful head down in front of him.

"It's the first time a caliber of your class appeared, so we have no choice but to place you under our eyes for your own protection. I hope we can have your understanding, Ms. Yanah." Coleen said, worry in her eyes. Coleen was afraid the young woman would be dissatisfied by their decision.

Though it's part of the government's selfishness to place the SSS-class Guide under Éveilleur University, it was also for the guide's protection.

The news of such a precious guide has entered a lot of channels, including those from the underworld and the black areas. And a week hasn't even passed yet. No. Three days hasn't even pass!

'Curse those damn informants.' Coleen internally scoffed at the Awakener's Guild's. carelessness. 'It wasn't that bad when I was leading the guild.'

Yanah could be kidnapped by those forces hiding in the dark or even the foreign mercenaries if they were careless. Coleen could only hasten Yannah's protection by placing her under her territory the next day she was discovered.

"I understand the circumstances. Thank you for handling the necessary documents for the university transfer." Yanah knew what her class signifies.

It meant trouble. A big one if she doesn't have any backers. A high-class guide without a backer of someone will be kidnapped by those unscrupulous and damned organizations of the dark and can only be forced to do something not their will.

'Seems like the government and the Awakener's Guild wants to be my backers.' And truthfully, Yanah doesn't have any complaints about that.

'The two dominant forces in the country as my backers? I'll do as they say as long it wasn't touching my bottom line.' Yanah calmly organized her thoughts and accepted her situation.

Her dissatisfaction of being transferred away to a new university without her permission did not disappear because of the university's good environment. Definitely not. And definitely not because she saw a beautiful face.

"It's one of the things we should do for you. Your existence is going to be one of the most useful asset of our country. Doing you a little favor is not enough." Coleen gave a small fawning smile.

'If this little guide is dissatisfied with the country, she can go to others, and we can only watch if she's really determined.' There's no short of covetous countries who wants to have a high-class guide of their own. If P country is dumb enough to mistreat their own SSS-class Guide, then the sly vixens inside and foreign bastards from the outside will sweep their precious guide away.

"We also contacted and talked to your parents. We hope to relocate them to a safer place. As of now, we only managed to get their permission about your stay in our university's dorms." Coleen thought of the man's cold eyes that stared at her own.

Looking at Yannah's calm eyes and remembering her father's cold eyes through the screen, Coleen can't help but think that the two are really father and daughter.

"Is that so? Since the university is able to get my father's permission, I'll stay here. Where will I stay?" Yanah tilted her head and asked curiously.

It was known to outsiders that the dorms of Éveilleur University is as good as five-star hotels. But even then, it still has a distinct differences with each other.

Coleen smiled and spoke, "The William Dorm. You will be staying at the William Dormitory."

---

The William dormitory stood impressively on a quiet street, its sleek, modern design immediately catching Yanah's eyes.

The exterior was a blend of sophisticated materials: smooth gray stone facades, large black-framed windows, and gleaming white accents that outlined the structure with precision.

A set of wide, dark double doors, polished to a mirror finish, marked the entrance, while above, a minimalist balcony wrapped around the upper floors, offering a sweeping view of the surroundings.

Tall, slender trees lined the pathway leading up to the dorm, their leaves rustling gently in the breeze, adding a touch of nature to the otherwise urban elegance.

'Tsk. Rich people's dormitories are really nothing compared to the poor ones.' Yanah clicked her tongue as she walked in the pathway.

Inside, the dormitory was just as meticulously designed, with a simple yet elegant interior that echoed the exterior's color scheme of gray, black, and white.

The entrance hall opened up into a spacious living room, where sleek, light black leather sofas were arranged around a state-of-the-art entertainment system that featured a massive flat-screen TV and a hidden sound system, all controlled by a single, intuitive touchpad on the wall.

The walls were a soft gray, adorned with modern art pieces that added subtle splashes of color, while the floors were polished black marble, their surfaces cool and smooth underfoot.

Yanah turned to another place and damn, the kitchen was a chef's dream. It was equipped with top-of-the-line appliances in matte black and stainless steel.

The countertops were a pristine white quartz, contrasting beautifully with the black cabinets that provided ample storage. The large island in the center can serve as both a workspace and a casual dining area, with high-backed stools in sleek chrome and black leather.

Yanah entered the room with her name carved on the door upstairs.

Upon entering, she saw that the room was designed with simplicity in mind, featuring soft gray walls, plush black carpets, and crisp white bedding.

Her room had its own en-suite bathroom, equipped with luxurious amenities, including rainfall showers and heated floors.

Throughout the dorm, advanced technologies seamlessly integrated into the design, from the smart lighting system that adjusted based on the time of day to the climate control system that ensured every room was at the perfect temperature.

"Well, seems like no one's here yet." Yanah had gone around the whole dorm and found no presence of a person around.

"Make sense. Classes are on-going." Yanah sat on one of the comfortable sofas in the living room, leaning in lazily. Totally out of her graceful demeanor.

A good and fine dorm. Yanah suddenly doesn't mind transferring away. 'The rumor of the Éveilleur dorms being like hotels are no lie.'

Yanah, who was tired and slowly falling asleep in the comfort of the sofa, has not notice the floating alpha pheromones around.

Yanah fell asleep peacefully. Her dull and numbed nose never noticing anything.
