Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Crossing with the Demon God?

The night was silent, in a dim rented room.

A dimly lit rental room was quiet in the night.

A computer screen emitted a faint glow.

"Tap tap tap," the sound of a man continuously typing on the keyboard could be heard from the computer desk.

He had been staying up for three nights to obtain the final set of epic equipment for his character.

"Yes! Bird-back and Tayberrs completed, mission accomplished!" Sen Lei, stretching with a big yawn in front of the computer, announced.

Strangely enough, a few days ago, a max-level character had inexplicably appeared on his account. The character's class was Blood Sword Demon, a class he had never leveled on his account, though he had leveled it on others'.

Could it be an old character he had neglected?

Sen Lei didn't think too much about it and clicked in. He found the character wearing the second set of Desolate Sky armor, with black armor emitting a sinister red glow. He assumed it must be an old character he had forgotten about since that kind of abyssal knight armor had long disappeared.

With dozens of characters, he couldn't remember when he had leveled this one.

"Finally graduated this class," Sen Lei murmured with satisfaction, squinting his eyes in comfort.

All that was left was to enhance it to the extreme, but he was too cautious for that. Nonetheless, with the current equipment and combat power of this character, he was probably the strongest in the entire server.

Thinking of this filled Sen Lei with a sense of accomplishment.

Despite his bloodshot eyes from lack of sleep, he couldn't hide his excitement. As a seasoned Dungeon & Fighter player, dominating the server was his current grand dream, one that had cost him dearly in both time and money. Now that his dream was realized, Sen Lei felt immense joy!

Next, Sen Lei felt waves of sleepiness wash over him.

"Time for bed!" He rubbed his tired eyes, turned off the computer, and walked to his bed. As soon as he approached it, he collapsed straight onto it, sighing comfortably, "The moonlight shines on my big bed!" Not long after, he began to snore.

It was unclear how much time had passed.

"Zzzzt!"

Sen Lei's computer screen eerily lit up, and the game started logging in by itself!

In the game, the Blood Sword Demon wearing abyssal knight armor opened its scarlet eyes, removed its helmet with a blood-red arm, and looked at Sen Lei.

Muttering an eerie incantation, a mixture of blood-red and green light floated out of the screen, deeply embedding itself into Sen Lei's left hand.

Sen Lei's brow furrowed as if he were having a nightmare...

#### ...…

"Mmm... huh?!" Sen Lei opened his eyes.

"Am I blind?" He rubbed his eyes vigorously, but found himself in a pitch-black world where he could barely see his own hand! If he didn't move his hand closer, he would think he was blind.

The phrase "can't see your hand in front of your face" seemed apt.

"My god! This must be a dream," Sen Lei said in a trembling voice, a bit panicked.

But what happened next confirmed that it was indeed a dream, and absolutely a dream!

He saw the character he controlled in the game, glowing red, walking toward him step by step. The blood-red and black armor emitted a real "clank, clank" sound, which was quite terrifying!

"My! God! Aaaah!" Sen Lei kept backing up, shouting, but the boundless darkness seemed to swallow even his voice.

A game character coming to life and appearing before him—if that wasn't a dream, who would believe it?

"What... what do you want!" Although Sen Lei thought it was a nightmare, he still felt a chilling sweat break out on his back.

Next, the shadow growled as if chanting something. A menacing, blood-red greatsword rose from behind him. The shadow looked at Sen Lei coldly, "Master! Please accept the baptism of the Blood Demon!" In the darkness, this figure seemed unaffected.

"What... the hell! This must be Blood Abyss Cleaver!" Without waiting for the shadow to finish, Sen Lei turned and ran, shouting, "This is a dream, wake up! Help!" Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the blood-red shadow rushing toward him.

"Blood Demon Onslaught!" The Blood Sword Demon transformed into a blood demon, charging toward Sen Lei. A huge explosion of blood spread slowly under Sen Lei's terrified expression...

#### ...…

"Ah, ah... ah," Sen Lei woke up screaming, finding himself in an unfamiliar, lavish room, draped with golden curtains like an emperor's palace.

"Is this another dream?" Sen Lei was puzzled. The demon was gone, but the unfamiliar surroundings made him even more scared. Turning around, he saw a beautiful woman in palace attire lying by his bed, looking as exhausted as he did after a night of gaming.

But the next moment, Sen Lei's head throbbed violently as unfamiliar memories flooded his mind, causing him to cry out in pain, which woke the woman.

This world was full of spiritual energy, located on a continent called Rad. Here, the strong could change the world with a flick of their hand. Everyone could absorb spiritual energy to form a vortex within them, leading to countless realms! Spirit, body, sea, and the divine path, each with nine levels of bottlenecks.

As the prince of the Sen Luo Empire, Sen Lei's birth had caused a celestial phenomenon, making him a natural spirit body and shocking the entire continent. Surrounding empires immediately wanted to eliminate him to prevent the Sen Luo Empire from becoming unimaginably powerful in the future.

The neighboring Wind Country was the most anxious. They had been secretly plotting for ten years as Sen Lei grew stronger, his speed and power causing their ruler to worry. But the Sen Luo Emperor, Sen Yan, never gave them a chance, always guarding his son closely.

Until one day, when Sen Lei sneaked out during a guard change to explore the outside world, giving the assassins their long-awaited chance.

This was a godsend!

These assassins couldn't actually kill the prince, as no one could bear the emperor's wrath, but crippling him was the mission.

Yet some wanted him dead, especially Wind Country! They planned to kill Sen Lei and pin it on the assassins, using the allure of his natural spirit body. After killing Sen Lei, they extracted his spiritual root and gave it to their prince, Feng Tianya, who was then taken to train at Rad Academy by the head elder.

When the Sen Luo Emperor found his son, he was gravely injured, unconscious, with severed meridians and no spiritual root. This filled Sen Yan with rage, but he saw his son still had a breath left and rushed him back to the palace.

As the saying goes, "An emperor's wrath can cause thousands to perish!"

Sen Yan ordered a thorough investigation, capturing anyone remotely related to the incident. Assassins in the kingdom suffered greatly; anyone labeled as one was killed.

Learning that the spiritual root was missing, he knew who had orchestrated the attack and wanted to invade Wind Country.

But Rad Academy's telepathic message forbade it!

Sen Yan was furious, shouting, "Why! My son's spirit body was ignored, but now, harmed unjustly, I'm forbidden from avenging him!"

"Why!" The emperor, disheveled, roared in anguish.

The voice's pressure returned, "Wind Country's spirit body is formed, no war!"

At this moment, the game-playing Sen Lei inexplicably transmigrated into this unfortunate body. Was it fate or coincidence?

Slowly awakening, Sen Lei reluctantly accepted reality.

Turning to the worried woman, he called out, "Mother!"

The woman in palace attire was indeed his mother, the queen of Sen Luo Kingdom, Meng E.

"You finally woke up, Lei'er. You scared me!" Meng E cried, hugging Sen Lei's frail body.

Sen Lei thought helplessly, "This isn't a dream! I've really transmigrated, damn it!"

Outside the palace, a handsome middle-aged man with a dragon crown entered, his head covered in "frost"!

Entering, he urgently asked, "Lei'er, how are you?"

Meng E quickly got up and saluted, looking at the man with tears of pain.

"I'm fine. How is the prince?" The imposing man, the emperor of Sen Luo Kingdom, Sen Yan, asked.

Meng E was about to speak.

"I'm fine, Father," Sen Lei weakly answered, attempting to rise but succumbing to the pain.

Sen Yan looked at his severely injured son, sighed, and, in a fatherly tone, said, "I failed you."

As an emperor, Sen Yan's eyes reddened, recalling the history. The Sen Luo Empire had always followed a monogamous rule, ensuring a line of sons for hundreds of years. But just then, Sen Lei's left hand suddenly ached and turned blood-red, shocking everyone in the room. "What's happening, call the physician! Quickly, Lei'er, what's wrong!" Sen Yan and Meng E were anxious, with Meng E crying in Sen Yan's arms. Despite their great power, they were helpless.

No one dared approach Sen Lei, whose blood aura was overwhelming, a clear sign of demonic possession. Even as high-level cultivators, Sen Yan and Meng E couldn't intervene without risking his life.

Gripping his left hand, Sen Lei exclaimed, "This hurts like hell! Damn, I'm so unlucky!" and lost consciousness.

...…

"Wake up! Wake up!" An ancient voice called Sen Lei, waking him once again.

His head heavy, Sen Lei saw a blue holographic projection floating before him.

Sen Lei exclaimed: "The skill pop-up window of Dungeon and Fighter??!"

"Oh my god!"
