Aiden.
The boy steps out of his car, likewise his friends. They were a total of four people. Three boys and a girl. But something was off. They were not all mutts. Two guys among them were but the the lady was a serpent and the other guy driving was my kind.
What's going on here?
The guy that is my kind, takes a few steps closer toward me with his hands in his pants.
"Hey, you, why are you in my way?"
"You hit my car, are you going to pay for damages?" I don't have any business with him. Infact it's not him I want to get my hands on but for some reason, I feel like he should be punched for mixing with mutts and breaking the rules.
He flashed his canines in a chuckle and the others bursts out laughing like I said anything funny. "Are you new here? Do you know who I am?"
He asked me but I scrunch my nose in disgust. "It's pretty hard to tell cause you smell like mutts". I tell him and he clenched his jaws.
I could see the annoyance in his eyes. He was glitching. I wanted him to come at me first. But the guys behind him beats him to it.
"What the fuck did you just call us, you piece of shit". One of the werewolves pounced forward head-on in a fight but I just look at him.
"Mutts" I say again in the calmest tone and the other one behind him lost it. He aims a punch at my face but his fist froze midway when my red orbs flashes before his eyes.
I stopped his hand, inflicting pain the longer I stare at him. That's a Hellhawker's ability. We take over your mind and inflict pain with our minds.
He struggles to move but it only riles me more as my fist landed square on his face with so much force, landing him on the floor as the others move back in reflex, shock greeting their faces.
They didn't expect this kind of strength from a vampire. I see the disbelief in the vamp's eyes, followed by the other werewolf as the one on the floor whimpered.
"T-that's impossible... Y-you, who are you?" I raise my brow at his question, lifting the side of my lips
"I didn't know we were introducing ourselves after light punches".
My eyes flickered again.
The serpent girl watches from behind with wide eyes unable to move but she took it quite well. She among them appeared less frightened.
It was when Ashley stepped out of the car that I see a smile flash on her face in a taunting way as though her prey was right in front of her.
They both glared at each other as though they have a history.
The serpent girl scoffed. "Look who we have here. Looks like errand girl's got a new boyfriend".
Ashley frowned. "Shut you trap, Cameron and worry more about you beat boy toy". She looked pissed, eyes glowing with hate as she looked at Cameron but the serpent looks like she's got the upper hand.
She laughed. "Oh, she's talking back now... You must really believe in your new boyfriend, huh? Wait till Bale hears this". She blasts, not minding the eyes that stared back at her.
Bale?
Who's bale?
I've seen that name somewhere.
I look at Ashley and remember the tattoo behind her ear but she only looks at me.
"Let's get out of here". She tells me and I take a step back. Her thoughts were filled with so much cuss words that I can't make anything out of it.
As we enter the car, the serpent girl yells after Ashley "You better be ready for it". We drove off, leaving them behind.
I didn't want to get involved with anyone, but the question came out before I knew it. "Who's Bale?"
Her eyes were on the road but I could see her clenched jaws moving in annoyance at the mention of that name.
If she hates it so much why is it tattooed on her?
"He's the most dangerous specie in this school". She tells me and I raise a brow at her words . "He kills".
I feel a knot form in my throat before forcing myself to swallow. Did I hear right?
He kills? Then why was he still here? Shouldn't he be expelled or something?
"He was the one in the trial room. He was summoned by the board because he did something outrageous again. You should keep a low profile as a newbie... He loathes our kind".
Ah, so he is that guy?
So his name is Bale?
The remaining of our ride was quiet and I could see the conflictions in her eyes.
What happened a few minutes ago still bothered her.
In a blink, the car makes a stop in front of a glass villa. "Come on out". She tells me, stepping out without looking back.
