Teachers who watched the class placement test through the All-Seeing Eye gathered outside of the hall. Mr. Friedrin, the teacher with flaming hair, was there too. He was chatting with a beautiful woman with four arms, two on her back and two in front of her chest.
"The freshmen this year are promising. Especially the boy from the Eldritch family. He didn't even move a little before killing that tentacle-armed boy with a strange power."
"Yes, his power is interesting. I heard it was a rare power in the Eldritch family. A power that can corrode everything with smoke, yet doesn't affect himself. It has potential."
The woman, whose name was Ms. Alveria, nodded her head. Her eyes were focused on a single person that walked out of the hall, followed by Blanche.
"Fufufu, he also gained the Student Council President's interest. His future is so bleak."
Mr. Friedrin's mouth curved upward. A cold smile appeared on his face.
"Yes, he will certainly live a bleak life, fitting for his identity."
The other teachers nodded their heads and looked at the boy. Their eyes were filled with greed and hunger. They wanted to devour the boy for his potential.
And the boy's identity as an Eldritch family member made them all drooling. However, they couldn't do that. If they touched a student, then the headmaster Cthulhu would erase their existence from the world.
They had no choice but to wait until graduation to lay their hands on him.
So, they would teach him and let him grow stronger. And when he graduated, they would like to see the chaos he spread in the future.
Their smiles widened.

Blanche took Ars to his dorm. It was a 5-story building made of dark stones and bricks. It looked gloomy, but the interior looked luxurious.
The hall was spacious, the floor was made of marble. Chandeliers were hanging on the ceiling. Many students were walking around. When they saw Ars, they greeted him.
"Hello, Eldritch boy."
"Welcome to Doom Spreader School."
"I have always wanted to greet you."
Ars nodded his head at them without saying anything. He wasn't sure how to react to their greeting. They were also new students like him, so he didn't understand why they called him Eldritch boy. The respect they gave him was burdensome, though.
"Your room is on the 5th floor. It's a special room, so don't worry about it. All your stuff has been moved here by our servant, and we have already prepared your school coat. Be sure to wear it on the first day of the class. You can wear what you want today."
Blanche explained with a smile on her face.
"Once again, welcome to Doom Spreader School."
And then she left, leaving Ars alone in front of the dorm. He just stared at her back as she walked away.
Looking at the key in his hand, he sighed slowly, careful not to let any purple smoke escaped his lips.
'Thank God, I am finally free.'
He didn't say it out loud and just entered his room.
It was a penthouse with a large living room and a kitchen. He opened the door to his bedroom and was greeted by a king-sized bed and a computer desk.
When he looked at the bathroom, he was surprised by the large bathtub that could accommodate a dozen people. Maybe it was made massive because of the student's race?
"Haha, maybe there is a student from a Giant race who stood 6 meters tall? Or a Troll, which has a big body but is shorter than 3 meters tall? I don't know."
Ars chuckled as he thought of the possibility.
Then, he saw the school coats on top of the bed. It was a simple coat similar to what everyone else wore. The material was smooth and black in color.
"I will wear it tomorrow, I guess. I hope the classroom is not too far from the dorm. I don't want to walk a lot."
Ars took off his clothes and stepped into the bathtub. He really needed it after everything that happened today.
Just a simple taking off clothes was something he had to be careful of because of his new horns. They were a little bit annoying.
'I am already used to them, but I think my new horns are really weird. It's troublesome.'
A few hours ago, Ars was a human. Now he was an Eldritch youth with black eyes and short black hair with white stripes. His horns were also black with white stripes.
"Phew, I can finally relax."
The warm water made him feel relaxed. It was as if all of his fatigue disappeared.
He leaned his back on the edge of the tub and closed his eyes.
"I wonder what dad was thinking by sending me here? It's so sudden!"
"Right? That man is so carefree."
"I couldn't agree more." Ars nodded his head.
Suddenly, his eyes widened.
He sat up and turned around to see a woman wearing a one-piece black dress standing behind him. Her black hair was long, reaching her waist, and her eyes were bewitching red. She was so beautiful that Ars was unable to take his eyes off her.
'Wait.' Ars shook his head. 'That's not what I should be surprised about. Why is there a girl in my bathroom?!'
"May I ask who you are?" He stayed calm, putting on an act.
The woman smiled. "I am Maria."
Her expression was gentle, her voice was soft. She crossed her arms under her ample breasts, making them shake. Ars looked at her face immediately. He didn't want to be rude. But just knowing her name didn't help with anything.
Noticing that, the girl continued.
"I am a maid assigned to you by Her Highness to watch her son. Nice to meet you, Young Master."
His brain tried to process what she said, but it was slow because of his panic.
When he did, he suddenly understood something.
"Young Master, do you mean me?" He pointed at his face.
"Of course."
"And Her Highness... Is it my mother?"
"Yes."
"So you are my maid..."
"I apologize but that's not quite correct. I am a maid for Her Highness, Lady Xtiffha, who is a part of the Dark Union Eldritch family. I was given this duty to watch over her son because she is busy with her work."
Maria explained with a smile.
Ars didn't know why he felt like her smile was somewhat... scary.
"I am only a temporary maid who is responsible for your wellbeing until you find your own maid... or slave. If you ask me, the current Student Council President is perfect to be your slave."
"Don't say such a scary thing."
Saying something like a slave when the Student Council President was mentioned, Ars found it hard not to shiver.
"Oh, I am sorry." Maria covered her mouth, "It seems like I have said something unnecessary."
Ars just sighed. "I don't understand you at all. But it's nice to meet you, Maria."
He smiled at her, but she just tilted her head, confused.
"Young Master, you don't need to be polite to a maid like me. And it's an honor to serve you. Please ask me anything you don't understand. And also... Her Highness has told me to relay this. Please have fun here. You are free to do whatever you want. Just make sure not to be too crazy, or else we can't stop you."
Ars didn't understand half of what Maria said but nodded nonetheless.

The last thing Maria said...
He would have to think about it later. For now, he had to clean himself and sleep.
After everything that happened today, he really needed that. And so...
"Can you leave now? I am trying to take a bath here. I need my privacy, you know."
"Do you want me to help?"
"No!"
Maria was a girl, so he didn't want her to see him naked. It would be weird.
"Then I will wait for you outside, Young Master. Please call me when you are done." She giggled as she left.
Ars sighed and sank his head into the water.
He needed to cool his head.
'What a bizarre day...'
It was only his first day in Dark Union, and he felt like he would die before the day even finished.
'Is this how I will live my life everyday? God, please help me.'
Ars prayed.
But he knew that God wouldn't come to save him.
Even Gods were scared to take a step into the Dark Union.
