The morning sun shines through the window in my room. Enough to wake me up. My eyes slowly opened.
I stared at the view of my empty room. I went to wash my face in the bedroom sink.
I looked at my long, thick hair. I'd love to cut it. I've never had long hair before. My mother doesn't like me having long hair. Apart from that, my hair is thin and ugly. It is said that hair is also a symbol that holds a lot of memories.
If I cut my hair it means letting go of my past. After all, the memories in this hair are not mine. So it's meaningless.
I still remember the way Hera said that I have the power of god. What? Holly molly! I don't know how to react. Suddenly I feel like being a main character of a novel.
Should I try to destroy this world with my power?
Don't―can my head stop asking or saying dumb things?
"Hera?" I called as I walked into the living room.
No answer was heard. Where is he? I looked for it all over the room in this house. However, her figure was still not visible at all.
"Probably she went outside. I should try to walk outside too. It's makes me so badumb thinking about what fantasy world looks like!"
There's no one at home. My steps moved towards the exit in the living room that full of painted faces of people I didn't know.
I pulled the door handle in front of me. A gentle breeze blew past me. The warm rays of the sun slowly warmed my back. My eyes sparkle.
What I saw was truly extraordinary. I slowly walked towards the house fence that was as high as my chest.
"Wow...."
In front of me, at this moment, there was a very wide meadow, filled with tens of thousands of pink tulips surrounding a giant tree in the middle.
The chirping of sparrows flying here and there added to the atmosphere of tranquility that I felt.
My hair was flying around due to the prairie wind. And it feels really relaxing. For the umpteenth time this world truly amazes me.
"Dang! It's looks prettier than those park that the government advertise!" I said in amazement for the umpteenth time.
I didn't realize at all that there was a view as beautiful as this in front of my house. Yesterday I was too focused on the luxurious houses lining this cliff wall and didn't pay much attention to the beautiful meadow in front of me.
I immediately ran down the stairs through the main road that ran along the side of the cliff leading to the city which was bordered by an iron fence. Jump over it into the middle of a crowd of tulips.
I inhaled and exhaled slowly then opened my eyes. I traced the path between the clusters of tulips while rubbing each flower shoot that I passed with my hand.
Tulips are my favorite flower since childhood. Unfortunately, tulips cannot grow in tropical places. So this was the first time I saw tulips.
I picked one of these tulip stems. Then looked at the flower like a child whose mother bought a new toy.
My footsteps slowly moved towards the giant apple tree amidst the tulips that circled it. Apples are also my favorite fruit. There was a rather low branch full of red apples. Catches my attention.
"It's okay to shoplift one, right?" I chirped.
I looked again at the ripe apples hanging down. I looked to the side, to make sure this belonged to someone or not.
"That's really stupid." I chuckled.
I also tried to climb. Ah, I forgot I can't climb. I stared at the tree in front of me in annoyance. My nose flared and deflated. Forget that fact, let's keep trying. And yes, it fell. I'll try again.
And yes, it fell again. OK, I'll force it again. OK, keep falling again. Fine. I gave up.
"Urgh, I should join to stolen the neighbor's mango at that time with those kid at that village." I said annoyed.
From the top of the tree came the sound of a branch breaking. Making my gaze directed towards the source of the sound. My eyes narrowed and I stepped back, wary of what was happening. I focused my gaze, but I couldn't see anything because the tree leaves were too dense.
an object fell. Unfortunately I didn't have time to dodge, causing the object to hit my forehead. I fell backwards and then slipped. Something heavier then fell on me. Followed by a loud thud.
"Augh-!!" I screamed.
"Ouch." someone said.
My eyes immediately opened. Staring at the object in front of me that had just fallen on me. A 3 x 3 rubik made of steel looks like it has been split because only half remains. Each line between the boxes emits blue light.
A branch suddenly fell right in front of my face. Surprised me half to death.
I touched my forehead which felt painful. I was very lucky that I wasn't injured. I tried to get up, but my body felt very heavy. I looked at my back.
There was a boy lying on top of me in a supine pose. He groaned in pain.
"You're so heavy! Can you stand up?!" I shouted.
Good grief. Look at this kid. Even though he had just fallen from the apple tree, he seemed fine. His face showed no indication of pain. Very relaxing huh.
Instead he sat on top of me while holding his back and head. His face looked back at me. His face looked very annoying. His expression seemed to say "Hah? What the hell?"
I narrowed my eyes, looking at him angrily. I really want to say words of wisdom. But I restrained myself.
"My mini cube." He said suddenly.
"Huh?" I answered confused.
"Stupid purple potato." He said sarcastically.
"HAH????"
My eyes returned to the rubik that had fallen beside me, then I grabbed the rubik. The boy who was sitting on me actually hissed and immediately snatched the rubik from my hand.
"Don't you dare touch my cube." he hissed.
"Huh???" I grumbled in my heart.
"Ah, annoying person just disturbing people's sleep." he ruffled his hair then just walked away without paying any attention to me. He just went towards the sidewalk of the highway.
I was annoyed because I didn't accept it. I quickly stood up and pulled her short-haired hair.
"Wow, is that polite?" I blocked his way.
This boy looked back with furrowed eyebrows.
"What do you want?" he asked irritably.
"WHAT DO YOU WANT??? YOU SAID WHAT YOU WANT?!" I replied with all my heart.
He even looked confused at my annoyed expression.
"If you have nothing to do, don't bother me." he said.
He walked back, not paying attention to me. But I followed him.
"Don't follow me." he said.
I didn't pay attention to it. I still follow him. The child slowly quickened his pace, as did I. After a while he ran, I ran too.
"Hey, don't follow me! What's your problem!" he hissed.
I quickened my steps, feeling annoyed.
"Oh! That's how you make someone almost die! Don't you want to apologize? You really are polite huh? Did your parents never teach you to say sorry?!" I joked in annoyance as I pointed my finger at him.
"Huh? I'm an orphan." He asked looking at me with a strange expression.
I shocked and suddenly felt guilty with my word. But I keep following him.
"I didn't know that. Sorry Buddy!" I replied with a loud tone.
"Then why're you keep following me!"
Without realizing it, we were chasing all the way to the city gates. The sound of vehicles and people talking from behind the wall greeted the two of us running on the sidewalk.
Passing by the trees that lined every sidewalk, people on the street looked confused when they saw the child in front of me who looked like he was being chased by a raging bull.
At the T-junction there were a couple of girls that walked together who looked at us without I realizing it. I just keep following him to do something. Yes! Punch him in the back for real!
Those couple girl looked each other with suprise.
Meanwhile that boy in front of me suddenly became more panicked. His sweat was dripping. His running got faster. He seemed afraid to see those couple of girls. Also because I was chasing him tirelessly at an abnormal speed.
"Yo! How the hell you could run at that speed!" He got more panicked.
That boy suddenly turned onto the main road, and without thinking, I immediately followed him. But unfortunately, from the side there was a car speeding towards me.
The car driver immediately looked panicked. The sound of a car horn immediately roared. However, the car continued to move.
I was already panicking and wanted to go backwards, but unfortunately I tripped and fell. My whole body immediately got goosebumps.
Good grief! What the hell?! My life has just been taken away, is it going to be taken away again?!
Before I could actually fall, someone suddenly pulled me backwards, making my body fall towards him.
Luckily the brown classic car didn't hit me and just swerved, instead continuing to drive fast. I believe the car driver must have also panicked to death.
I swallowed my saliva tensely. My chest was pounding from shock. The grip on my waist slowly loosened. I turned towards the person who had just helped me.
But the person immediately turned his face and pushed me before leaving me. I didn't even get to see his face, because his whole body was covered in a dark blue robe.
I immediately said thank you.
"Thanks." I said, still in shock.
His footsteps stopped. He looked slightly at me. He...smiles? He turned around and walked slowly towards me. I lowered my head. Feel embarrassed.
Eh? Why can't I even look at his face? Though I'm curious. His hand then patted my head gently. I was stunned.
"Be careful please." He answered me.
I immediately raised my head and looked at him after hear his voice. His voice is so familiar. But once again, he turned away and left me. Finally, I just stared at him in silence, who gradually disappeared from my sight.
"What's wrong with him.." I whispered.
I immediately woke up and turned towards the figure of the child who was running further away.
"Hey, don't go!!"
I just kept chasing him all the way to the city center. Passing every corner of the alley. Causing chaos to occur in the city center. The kid keeps accidentally bumping into everyone in town.
Pushing street snack carts at the market until they scatter. Nudged someone who was carrying a glass bottle until it broke. And also many other bad things.
People seemed to snort in annoyance. There were even officers chasing us both. From me chasing him to us being chased by him. We ran around frantically.
"AAAAA!!" we shouted.
"Don't hope that you can escape, you naughty children!" the officer shouted.
"Come here!!" The other officers also shouted.
"This is all your fault!!" I shouted panicked beside the boy.
"Oh?! How come- Hey, you were the first to chase me!" he replied.
The officer's pursuit became faster. At this rate, sooner or later we will both be caught!
The child then turned towards a tower built in the center of Violet City. This place is really busy. It's like a station but there are no trains in sight.
The architecture of this tower building is very unique. The bottom is shaped like a cube-shaped dome with a checkered motif. On the outside, it is wrapped in a square-shaped square full of flower gardens and recreation areas.
Then in the middle stands a very tall tower building that looks like a fortress tower on top of which stand 3 glass pipes that rise to the sky. Inside it appears there is a glass elevator moving upwards.
I'm starting to get tired. My steps started to slow down as did the boy beside me. I looked back. The officers were ready to grab us both.
The boy groaned. He stamped his feet. From his shoes suddenly a mini rocket appeared from his feet. A wave began to emerge from the rocket. He slowly started to float.
Because I was panicking, I hugged the boy and suddenly we shot so fast into the sky. The boy was shocked, fortunately we didn't fall because he lost his balance.
Both officers looked annoyed. He started to take out some kind of gun which when fired a confining net came out.
"AAAAAA!!" I shouted.
"He- hey, get your hands off..augh-!!" He groaned in panic.
The boy desperately avoided in panic. While I hung from his neck and made him suffocate.
"Do you intend to kill me?!" I protested when he rebelled. Intend to let me go.
"Let go of me- cough.. cough.."
"Sorry-!!" I kept strangling his neck because I panicked if I would fall.
I looked down. The panoramic view of the island is clear. This island is truly unique. An island surrounded by mountains and forests, further towards the center contains grasslands.
In the center stands a plain shaped like a 3-tiered birthday cake.
The 1st floor is the plain where my house is located near the tulip field. The second floor is where I chased this kid. And the top of this plain contains buildings with a shape similar to a government parliament.
Instead of panicking, I was amazed at the view below me. The boy I was hanging on to looked at me in surprise. Maybe he thought there was something wrong with me.
We just kept flying upwards. The pipe that was spreading earlier seemed to be split into 3 branches in different directions. I looked up. My eyes widen. There were 3 giant pieces of land covered in clouds floating in the sky.
Wait a moment?! Since when was there a floating island here?!
A little scary but very beautiful!
The child immediately teleported to the floating ground at the bottom because he couldn't stand being strangled.
Before ending up landing at a station where the pipe stops. And collapsed on the ground because we were both so exhausted. Even like he was going to faint.
Honestly it's just him.
"It's all your fault..." said the boy breathlessly.
"None of this would have happened if you didn't fall on me." I answered tiredly.
I started to stand up as people started streaming out of the elevator. I looked at the child not understanding. He lay comfortably on the floor like a lost person.
"You're like an outcast." I pouted.
"I'm an outcast." he said.
"Dang."
I turned to look around me. A giant castle stands majestically. It's more like calling it a school because there are lots of students in wizard-style robes and uniforms filling the castle grounds.
They were busy practicing magic and reading books on wooden chairs that lined the edge of the yard.
A statue of a woman with a crown like a goddess stands in the middle of the courtyard. Behind it is a giant tree surrounded by bushes of flowers circling it.
I looked up at the mountain cliffs behind the academic building. A small town also dotted the back of the academy. Also with giant grasslands surrounded by rivers.
The waterfall connected from the top floating ground flows towards the cliff which then flows into the lake on the main island which is connected by a river to a different lake at the front of the island before returning to the sea.
Very cool.
Like novel-style fantasy world academies.
My eyes stared in awe, "Wow."
