Chereads / Rainbow Mist / Chapter 6 - Violet Academy

Chapter 6 - Violet Academy

The boy started to stand up and walked towards the castle. I followed him from behind. He stopped then turned towards me with an annoyed face.

"You'd better go home. Are you really a kid from here? Go away." I hissed, not accepting it.

"You're not an Akademia student, are you?" he continued.

"Academia?" I asked.

"Yeah, you're not."

I immediately realized. Oh, so this is the magic academy.

The boy moved his hands in front of me who was trying to think.

"Hey! You're listening, right?"

I grinned indifferently, "Heh, I'll stay here."

"Huh?! What do you want?" He asked not understanding.

I folded my arms while looking in another direction, "Who are you to chase away my honorable self?"

The boy choked not understanding, "What?"

"You're really stupid, aren't you?" he continued.

"Oi, Chrono!!" someone shouted in a very shrill voice.

The boy immediately got goosebumps. His face was immediately covered in cold sweat as he revealed a panicked expression.

"Oh shit..." he hissed.

I turned to the source of the sound. I didn't expect that they were the girls I met in the city junction.

The boy who was called Chrono immediately shot away. That girl with her long green hair and dark green-yellow eyes, who immediately regained consciousness, immediately directed her hand towards Chrono.

A vine suddenly emerged from the ceramic courtyard and wrapped around Chrono's waist. She pulled him until he fell in front of the three of us.

Chrono immediately looked at The girl in panic. Her face turned fierce. More like scary. He looked at Chrono with a condescending gaze.

"Hey, you trash, where have you disappeared? We've been looking for you all over the city!"

The boy named Chrono then replied in a lazy tone while trying to get away, "I'm too lazy to work with you guys! Let me go!"

That angry girl, who saw that Chrono didn't respond to her words, exploded even more like an atomic bomb that had just been released.

"Huh? What did you say? You really are an ignorant junior. All men are stupid, aren't they-" she said.

The other girl with red hair suddenly just hold her friends in panic, "Nevermind Fredella. At least Chrono has been found."

Chrono then rebelled because the plants wrapped around him were getting tighter. "That's it! Let this thing go!" Chrono asked.

"Who are you, who dares to order me?" Fredella replied in a cold tone.

Chrono's guts immediately sank.

"L-let me go." Chrono asked in a pitiful tone.

I covered my mouth because I wanted to laugh at Chrono's pitiful tone. His voice didn't match his disheveled appearance at all.

His hair was brown and styled in a messy way and not combed neatly. He also wore a red headband wrapped around his forehead which held all his messy hair up.

His professorial attire was a little shabby. It's like it's never been washed. His pupils were hazel green. If you look closely, it has freckless spots like blackheads. Anyway, he is very eccentric like a delinquent.

Clarice then greeted me with a breathless, "Ah, hi, I didn't know you were here.."

"Why are you with this bastard?" Fredella turned to me. His annoyed expression was still plastered on his face.

"Oh yes!" I'm aware.

I immediately ran towards him and punched him, "This kid just fell on me from a tree and almost killed me by being hit by a car. After that he made a fuss in the city and I chased him because I was furious!"

Chrono was suddenly shocked, "HAH?!"

Hearing this, Fredella immediately went berserk. He immediately freed himself from Clarice's grip which was holding him.

Meanwhile, Chrono's face suddenly shrank. He immediately looked at me with a panicked face. As if to say, "Why did you say that?!"

I returned his gaze with an amused grin.

"Chrono. Hasn't the academy always prohibited harm to civilians?" Fredella looked annoyed.

Chrono immediately got goosebumps, "No, it was just an accident."

"Reason." Fredella's figure was sarcastic.

"All men are trash, aren't they?" He continued in a very scary tone.

I couldn't help but stare at their commotion. Clarice, who was too tired, finally chose to surrender. Clarice looked tired of the commotion going on in front of her. He's really clumsy. His face was plain and his attitude was very shy.

In contrast to Fredella, whose face is fierce and emits a cynical voice. It's as if other humans have a caste below them. It was as if he was a form of cynicism itself.

I looked at Clarice with a tired expression, "So that's the friend you're looking for?"

"Yes, that's how it is. Sorry, Chrono gave you trouble." Clarice answered resignedly.

"Thanks for helping us find this bastard. Good thing you went after him." Fredella admitted.

"I understand, being in a group with burdens is indeed troublesome." I answered resignedly. Remembering group work in class when I was still living in my old world. Almost everything is a burden.

"Men are really no different from rotting trash in a landfill." Fredella pouted.

I really wanted to laugh at Fredella's pout. But I held on as hard as I could. Don't want to make things worse.

"So, welcome to Violet Academy." Welcome Fredella.

"So this is it huh, Violet Academy." My praise.

"Of course. Violet Academy is the best magic academy in this world." Fredella replied proudly.

Fredella immediately realized, "Oh yeah, by the way, you're Mrs. Hera's daughter. Why don't you go to school at Akademia."

"Who knows." I answered lightly. I really don't know anyway. And don't really care either. At least there is a secret he is hiding considering that sometimes I feel strange about him.

But because he's so good I don't care either way.

Chrono immediately turned to me wide-eyed, "You?! The principal's daughter?!"

"Yes."

Chrono immediately bowed in apology. He said, "Don't expel me from the academy, please."

I laughed mischievously, "Hehe.."

Someone suddenly came to greet Fredella. Interrupting our conversation which was having fun.

"Fredella!" Call someone.

"Oh, hello Sis Madinna." Fredella replied.

The woman called Dita immediately smiled, "Long time no see. How are you?"

"Yes, I will take part in the adventurer selection this year. You are the selector, right? Pass me, sis." Fredella answered jokingly.

"If you take this long, Academia will become corrupt." Madinna laughed.

"David, have you got the items?" Madinna asked an adult man behind him.

"Yeah. Next week, right?" he replied.

"Yes."

Fredella immediately came to her senses and introduced the two of them to me, "Awaii, this is Sis Madinna and David. Sis Dita was my senior before I graduated. She is the head of the adventurer organization. And this is Sis David, the head of the wizard organization. They are the heads of the 3 main organizations at the Violet Academy. The remaining one is the head warrior Sister Athena, but she seems to be very busy."

The person named Madinna immediately smiled to greet me. I responded to his greeting then looked at the person beside him who was petrified to see me. Even I, who was uncomfortable, became petrified.

"Hello??" Call David while smiling.

I was shocked too. Staring at David nervously. Everyone also suddenly looked at me.

"Hello??" I replied.

"You're very shy, aren't you?" David replied laughing.

My eyes tightened slightly. You know I'm very sensitive. I can read someone from their body language. His words seemed like he was testing me.

But I didn't continue thinking about that as Madinna looked at her watch and was surprised and reminded David, "Come on. The organizational meeting will start soon. Sis Athena will get angry again if you're late. You two are always fighting."

David nodded and immediately walked quickly into the academic building, followed by Madinna.

We looked at their backs as they slowly started to disappear. Fredella then sighed, "Being chairman is very difficult, isn't it?"

"Aren't you going to let me go?" Cut Chrono who is still tied down below.

"Oh yes." Fredella said, realizing.

After that, Fredella invited me to enter the academy. The whole room is truly magnificent. Gold-plated ornaments line the edges of the ceiling, which is painted with a beautiful night sky.

Photos belonging to someone covered the walls of the hallway with Hera among them. Maybe the school principals of old. The four of us continued to explore the contents of this magnificent castle building.

We went deeper. Past a balcony that leads to a corridor. Under this balcony stands a magnificent library.

This library is a 4-story high room with a roof made of colorful glass domes equipped with heat resistors, so that only sunlight that enters emits heat.

Apple trees creep along the library walls. It was as if all the leaves were magicked to stay green, so that not a single leaf fell.

Bookshelves line the walls of the building. The center is filled with lots of tables and chairs for reading.

There are many children passing by here as well as some students wearing black robes in the style of fantasy stories.

Some are learning to practice magic. Also people busy doing whatever, piles of paper towering beside them.

Fredella began to explain, "At Akademiya, we honestly study everything. Science, social sciences, etiquette, arts, and so on. But there are 3 main divisions that students have to choose from. Of course everyone who goes to school here must be able to use magic "The division is the adventurers, the magicians, and the fighters. Brother David and Sis Madinna are the leaders of the organization's division."

"Wow.." I said amazed.

We sat in one of the empty places.

"Elite schools are different, aren't they?" I muttered.

"Of course! Only geniuses can study here." Chrono replied proudly.

"Oh, shut up, you fake scientist. You have lots of projects but nothing ever gets done." Fredella quipped, disagreeing.

"Oh, I'm jealous."

"What are you talking about?" Fredella threatened.

"Yeah, never again."

"You guys aren't in the same generation?" I asked Clarice curiously, not wanting to disturb Fredella and Chrono's commotion.

"Of course not, Fredella is from the class before me. Meanwhile, Chrono and I are in the same class. But the oldest here is Chrono." Clarice explained.

"Huh? How old are you?" I turned towards Chrono in disbelief.

"You're making fun of me, aren't you? I'm only two months older than the person next to me."

Fredella, who was offended, then glanced at Chrono, "Hey, I'm two years above you, I'm still your senior here."

Clarice then explained, "Fredella and Chrono are 19 years old, I'm still 18 years old."

"Huh?! You're older than me, right?! I thought you were younger than me." I looked at Clarice in disbelief. I looked at Clarice's body which was smaller than me. I frowned.

"Haha, many people think so." Clarice replied while smiling innocently.

"You're still 15 huh." Chrono coughed suddenly.

"I'm 17 huh." I didn't accept my reply.

A book suddenly fell near us. We also turned to the figure who was standing petrified. He looked at me with a look of disbelief or maybe a little fear. And that is Hera.

"Awaii?" he called in surprise.
