"M-master!"
Just like Kael had predicted, Ballister appeared inside the passage, carrying two very heavy bags that were twice his size. "I brought the clothes and shoes." His eyes fell on his master and the princess in what looked like a dancing position. He turned around immediately, keeping his eyes straight ahead.
Kael finally let go of Jacquelyn's waist after he was sure she could now stand on her own. He pushed the hair that was out of place on Jacquelyn's face and said, "Let's get ready."
Jacquelyn shuddered when she felt Kael's fingers graze her face. She gulped. For someone who could kill people with just a flick of his finger, his touch on her body had always been gentle and mild. Thinking about it now made Jacquelyn look at Kael in a whole new light. He was actually good to her, half of the time when he wasn't teasing her. Kael was good. She ran after him, following closely.
