Chapter 58 - Test! Thirty times is already so terrifying!

After confirming, Talot stayed alone in the Gravity Chamber, while Gine and Salari went with Brief to the adjacent main control room.

This area was isolated from the Gravity Chamber and not within the range of its gravity.

Brief could remotely control everything from there. If anything went wrong, he could immediately stop the Gravity Device's operation.

"Are you ready? If so, press the round button to activate the Gravity Device. The button on the left decreases gravity by one level, and the one on the right increases it by one level each time you press it," Brief conveyed to Talot over the intercom.

Hearing this, Talot nodded and quickly moved to the control panel.

The machine looked quite ordinary, with just a small display screen. There were no fancy buttons, just as Brief had described—a power button to turn the gravity on and off, and two buttons to control the increase and decrease of gravity.

As Talot pressed the gravity activation button, the display lit up, and the gravity test officially began.

'Bzzz~~!!!!'

The sound of the machine humming filled the room. The display showed the current gravity environment, and without hesitation, Talot pressed the button to increase the gravity.

1G became 2G, and the surroundings darkened slightly. Talot continued pressing the button to increase gravity until it reached 10G, at which point he stopped.

A gravity level ten times that of Earth—it was comparable to the gravity of Planet Vegeta.

Having spent a month on Earth and grown accustomed to its gravity, feeling the tenfold gravity again, Talot sensed a slight heaviness on his body.

However, given his strength, this level of gravity hardly affected him. Even though he was still wearing his weighted clothing, his movements weren't too restricted.

[The gravity of Planet Vegeta under a weighted load is only this strong. As I thought, growing up on Planet Vegeta, I've long since gotten used to this level of gravity. Now, with ten times Earth's gravity, there's no way it could pressure me. Training in this won't have much effect.]

Talot thought to himself as his body quickly adjusted to the increased gravity.

In fact, Talot's weighted gear wasn't light at all.

The wristbands and shoes each weighed 50 kilograms, adding up to 200 kilograms.

His shirt and pants each weighed 150 kilograms.

So, the total weight of his gear reached 500 kilograms.

Now, under ten times Earth's gravity, the pressure from his weighted clothing also increased tenfold, reaching an astonishing 5,000 kilograms.

"Saiyans really are amazing. You're not even fazed under ten times gravity. If this were an Earthling, they'd be crushed and unable to move. Even if their muscles and bones held up, their internal organs would fail," Brief commented from the main control room.

To ordinary Earthlings, ten times Earth's gravity was an insurmountable challenge. Even in Brief's understanding, the strongest martial artists on Earth couldn't possibly endure it as effortlessly as Talot.

"That's the difference between Saiyans and Earthlings. Saiyans are born into that environment, so even the weakest Saiyan is far stronger than an Earthling from birth," Talot replied with a faint smile, then pressed the button to increase the gravity further.

The numbers on the display climbed steadily from 10G to 20G, where he finally stopped.

Twenty times Earth's gravity—equivalent to double the gravity of Planet Vegeta.

In this level of gravity, Talot could finally feel a clear difference.

The pressure on his body created a special kind of resistance, making him feel that his movements were significantly restricted, especially with the added weight of his weighted gear.

It was as if his body was constantly enduring more than 10,000 kilograms of force.

[This is beyond my expectations. I didn't think that twenty times gravity would make me feel like this. Given my strength, it shouldn't be like this.] Talot thought to himself, surprised, especially considering the original story's plot.

The next second, he held his breath, focused, and began to move.

Punching, kicking, moving rapidly, then flipping backward, forward, gliding through the air—performing difficult maneuvers.

By the time he returned before the control panel, Talot had already begun to sweat.

In just two or three minutes of intense exercise, his body had already started to react.

On the other side, Gine and Salari were not surprised as they watched Talot's actions. They knew his strength well; even with Earth's gravity increased to twenty times, that was just twice the gravity of Planet Vegeta.

They were calm, but Brief was stunned and didn't know how to respond.

After all, ten times gravity was the limit of his imagination, and from the beginning, he thought no one could adapt to twenty times gravity.

Now, his worldview had been expanded, making him realize how conservative his thinking had been.

Maybe Talot can handle the equipment's maximum limit of fifty times Earth's gravity!

'Bzzz!!!'

As Talot increased the gravity again, the Gravity Chamber didn't just darken like before. The light in the room began to turn red, creating an oppressive atmosphere.

The numbers on the display continued to rise, and Talot felt the pressure growing stronger. Without even realizing it, the gravity had reached thirty times Earth's gravity. His breathing became rapid, and he felt heavy.

Under thirty times gravity, Talot's movements visibly slowed, and his legs began to tremble slightly.

After a long period of adjustment, Talot finally managed to steady himself, sweat now dripping from his forehead.

[So this is... thirty times gravity! It's only three times the gravity of Planet Vegeta! The difference doesn't seem huge, but when you use Planet Vegeta's gravity as a base, each additional increase is terrifying.]

Talot gritted his teeth and drew this conclusion.

He hadn't expected thirty times gravity to push him so hard.

Looking back, in the early stages of gravity training—specifically during Kakarot's experience on the spaceship in the original work—there's really no comparison. At that time, when Kakarot set off for Namek after recovering from serious injuries, his power level was at least over 10,000, possibly even 20,000!

Vegeta had reached a power level of 24,000 back then, so it wouldn't make sense for Kakarot to still be in the thousands.

That's why Kakarot was able to adapt to 100 times gravity in just a few days, rapidly increasing his power level to 90,000.

In the end, thirty times Earth's gravity wasn't beyond Talot's ability to handle, but trying to manage it while wearing 500 kilograms of weighted gear made it truly overwhelming.
