Chapter 61 - Cheat code-like Improvement, Day After Day

The training officially began!

Under 20 times Earth's gravity…

For both Gine and Salari, as well as Talot, who was wearing weighted clothing, it was neither too much nor too little—just right.

In fact, Talot had underestimated Gine and Salari's ability to adapt. He had thought that despite the gravity being only twice that of Planet Vegeta, they might need some time to adjust. Unexpectedly, it only took them half a day to not only adapt but also move around with ease.

Even though Talot, with his weighted clothing, could handle it too, the gap in power between them was evident.

Nevertheless, Talot was pleasantly surprised. It was a good thing for him since 20 times gravity was only the beginning, meant to help spur Gine and Salari.

If they could handle higher levels of gravity, the training difficulty could naturally be increased.

Of course, Talot wasn't in a rush.

Training needed to be done step by step. Forcing a sprint was not always beneficial.

Simply put, they weren't Kakarot or Vegeta.

Even Kakarot and Vegeta were completely different from each other.

The same training could benefit anyone, but the degree of improvement varied from person to person.

For the next five days, Talot didn't push things aggressively. He continued intense training under 20 times gravity.

The training was foundational—difficult push-ups, sit-ups, endurance and explosive strength exercises, with some sparring practice against Gine and Salari mixed in.

Talot's strength grew rapidly. In just a few days, his power level approached the 4,000 mark! Although he hadn't broken through yet, it would likely take only a day or two more. On average, he was gaining nearly 100 points of power level per day!

If they hadn't witnessed it themselves, Gine and Salari wouldn't have believed it.

For Gine and Salari, they had been confined to the mindset of "low-class warrior" and "upper-class warrior." However, with their growing awareness, they began to believe they could also become stronger.

Naturally, this was a concept Talot had been instilling in them all along. He made them understand that, while talent and potential are important, anyone can become powerful with diligent training.

The Saiyan class system—whether low-class, upper-class, or elite warriors—was based solely on a power level measured at birth and wasn't an absolute indicator.

For example, Saiyans born with a power level of several hundred were considered upper-class warriors, but that didn't guarantee great achievements. It just meant they had a higher starting point.

A low-class warrior doesn't necessarily mean they can't be strong, like Bardock, who is comparable to an upper-class elite.

With a clear goal, the rewards would be greater.

Gine and Salari were following in Talot's footsteps, and their progress was visibly noticeable.

Although they didn't improve as dramatically as Talot, Gine's power level had increased by 120 points, reaching 1,500.

This put her strength on par with Raditz when he arrived on Earth in the original work. Of course, the actual strength might not be comparable, but the numerical value has been reached.

Salari had reached 1,350, a gain of 180 points. Compared to Gine, she was working even harder, determined not to let the gap between her and Talot widen too much.

Honestly, though, the gap was growing.

However, with her current talent and strength, if she were still on Planet Vegeta, she would undoubtedly be considered highly promising and be nurtured accordingly.

Of course, no matter how outstanding Salari was, the rigid Saiyan system couldn't change the fact that she was born a low-class warrior.

Just like Bardock—no matter how exceptional he was, he could never truly integrate into that elite circle.

The training continued, and it didn't stop just because they had achieved some minor success.

Gine might have thought they should stop and rest for a while, but Talot didn't give her the chance to voice that idea.

How could becoming stronger be so easy?!

They had just barely made a breakthrough; stopping now would cause their strength to regress rapidly.

However, Talot didn't have them train for too long each day—about seven to eight hours. Outside of that, he didn't concern himself with what Gine and Salari did.

After all, when the 30 times gravity training begins, it would be a huge challenge for Gine and Salari. Moreover, Talot didn't want them to be like him, constantly bearing immense pressure.

As for him, after his ten hours of gravity training each day, he would switch to training his Ki to strengthen himself.

Having received subtle guidance from Kami and Popo, Talot made significant progress in Ki training.

In fact, when he went to Kami recently to request weighted clothing, he took the opportunity to ask for more advice.

By combining all the advantages and using them for himself, he was not only compensating his shortcomings but also eliminating his past mistakes.

Just like that, time flew by, and nearly two months passed.

Looking at the calendar, today marked exactly one year since they left Planet Vegeta!

It was on this very day last year that they departed from Planet Vegeta.

Now, everything has changed.

The three of them finished their training early, and for once, Talot didn't continue on his own. Instead, he accompanied Gine.

When you reach certain milestones, it's natural to feel reflective.

In truth, Gine no longer needed Talot to go out of his way to comfort her. She was a mature woman and had gradually come to accept many things on her own.

Since they weren't training, the three of them went to see Brief and Bulma.

The good news is that not only had Brief made significant breakthroughs in his spaceship research, but Bulma had also made incredible progress with the Dragon Radar.

Especially with the Dragon Radar, although it couldn't yet scan the entire planet, it could now scan a diameter of 1,000 kilometers.

That range was already impressive, and now only the final steps remained before the Dragon Radar would be ready for use.

For an ordinary person, it would be difficult to find the remaining six Dragon Balls across the planet with just a 1,000-kilometer scan.

But with Talot's abilities, flying around the world to search for them wouldn't take long. While it might not be a matter of minutes, he could definitely do it within a day.

With this promising outlook, both Talot and Gine were thrilled beyond words.

This was something Gine had been longing for all along.

While waiting during their training, another two days passed.

Of course, Gine and Salari didn't participate in training during this time. Since the Dragon Radar was almost finished, they spent most of their time hovering around with Bulma.

Inside the Gravity Chamber…

The display showed a gravity level of 50G.

"4497!!"

"4498!!"

"4499!!"

"5000!!!"

With one final, strained voice escaping his lips…

Talot flipped over and lay flat on the cold ground, gasping heavily for air.

Even with his power level at 8,000, training under 50x Earth's gravity with weighted clothing was still incredibly strenuous. Without the support of Senzu Beans, it would have been impossible to maintain for long.
