Chapter 48 - Recalling Memories! West City!

High in the sky, Talot, Gine, and Salari were moving freely.

After arriving on Earth, it is the first time they have left Lookout, and also the first time they are truly letting themselves go, flying wherever they pleased.

Using Ki Sense and guidance from their scouters, the three quickly locked onto the nearest human city.

To be honest, while Earthling architecture differed somewhat from that of Talot's previous world, there were still similarities. It wasn't like the buildings on Planet Vegeta or other planets, which had no resemblance at all.

Familiar skyscrapers, familiar streets, and even familiar "Earthlings."

The bustling city streets stirred long-buried memories deep within Talot.

What struck Talot the most was the presence of animal-type Earthlings in this era, unlike later times when they were nearly extinct, leaving only a few key characters.

At the same time, Talot used his observations of this city to understand that Earth's technology level during this era in the Dragon Ball world was comparable to that of his previous life' era.

[Just as I thought, Earth's technology in the Dragon Ball world only really started advancing rapidly after the storyline began,] he thought to himself.

One clear sign was that the vehicles in this city weren't the hover cars that would later be seen everywhere in the original work.

But it made sense—although Capsule Corporation was known for its Hoi-Poi Capsules, it must have been involved in many other industries as well.

You could say that Capsule Corporation propelled Earth's technological progress.

Otherwise, how could Hoi-Poi Capsules have been used in all walks of life?

Simply put, it was after Bulma took over Capsule Corporation that Earth's technological advancements really kicked off.

As they wandered the streets, Talot didn't pay much attention at first, which caused him to overlook a key issue.

Their clothing was too strange, drawing curious looks from passersby, along with constant whispers.

It wasn't until the stares became overwhelming that Talot finally realized what was happening.

At the same time, Gine and Salari were already feeling incredibly awkward and annoyed.

Being pointed at like clowns—if they hadn't decided not to cause any trouble on Earth, everything here would have long been obliterated.

"Aunt Gine, Brother Talot, these people are so annoying," Salari grumbled, looking like she was about to flip out.

Gine nodded in agreement and was about to speak when Talot interrupted.

"It's because our clothes stand out, so we're drawing attention. Just bear with it for now. After all, we're not here to invade or destroy Earth. Let's find a clothing store first and change. Besides, I have some valuable things on me," Talot said.

The two women nodded in agreement.

Soon, thanks to Talot's efforts, he exchanged some gold, silver, and jewels he had collected on Planet Ouyun for Earth's currency.

Talot had already foreseen that not having money on Earth would be a problem, so he prepared silver, gold and gems, the hard currency, as means of exchange.

With Earth money in hand, Talot, Gine, and Salari found a large clothing store.

For Talot, it was finally a chance to stop wearing his battle armor and those oversized robes.

After changing into casual clothes, he exuded a carefree and masculine aura—looking quite handsome.

Though only six years old, Talot's height and build were impressive.

Among the Saiyans, Talot's physical development was in the upper-middle range.

Unlike Vegeta, who only reached 164 cm as an adult, or Kakarot, who was just 175 cm.

In other words, Talot and Raditz are in the same category. If they continue growing normally, it would be completely normal for them to exceed 190 cm in adulthood.

Over 190 cm is only considered upper-middle range?

That's right!

There are quite a few Saiyans who grow to be over 2 meters tall. For example, in the original story, Nappa's height was a massive 247 cm.

Characters like Nappa are not uncommon in the original work. Another classic example is Broly, whose regular height was 232 cm, and after transforming, he reached a terrifying 286.5 cm.

Setting aside the height issue, Gine and Salari also changed into Earth clothing.

It's safe to say that they were drawn to Earth's fashion.

Even Saiyan women aren't immune to the love of beauty.

After buying a lot of clothes, the three finally left the clothing store and continued strolling through the city.

Because of their new outfits, they no longer attracted as much attention from the passersby, and at least no one was staring at them anymore.

Of course, they still couldn't avoid a few lingering glances.

After all, Talot was quite handsome, and Salari was incredibly cute. Despite their young ages, they naturally drew a lot of attention.

And then there was Gine, who was also very beautiful.

As they walked through the city, the trio soon left for other parts of Earth.

Time passed little by little.

In the blink of an eye, a day had gone by.

Talot, Gine, and Salari traveled from city to city, experiencing the local customs of Earth and passing through some scenic towns.

When in a bad mood, such leisurely trips were a great way to relieve stress.

Gine also started to relax, no longer fixated on finding Kakarot as soon as possible.

She was mainly amazed by the prosperity of Earth.

Although she had visited many planets and seen various civilizations, she had never encountered one quite like Earth's human civilization.

It was harmonious and thriving. Even though the life forms weren't particularly powerful, everything developed in an orderly fashion, without any signs of chaos.

Of course, Gine only saw the surface.

In reality, every place has criminals. As they say, wherever there is light, there will be darkness. It just depends on whether you encounter them.

After wandering for a while, the three arrived in an extraordinarily bustling and expansive city.

Upon learning that this was West City, memories buried deep in Talot's mind resurfaced.

In fact, West City had been their initial target when they arrived on Earth, since Capsule Corporation was here and Bulma's family lived here.

The real reason for coming here was to enlist the help of Bulma and Dr. Brief's scientific brains to create some special items.

Dragon Radar, Gravity Chamber, improved spaceships, and so on...

If Talot had come alone, he wouldn't have bothered hiding his intentions.

The problem was that he wasn't alone—whatever he did, he had to explain it to Gine and Salari.

[According to the timeline, I, Vegeta and Raditz are six years old, so Bulma should be five now?] Talot thought, calculating Bulma's age.

To be honest, Talot didn't know much about other women.

Only Bulma—oh, and also Android 18!

These are the women that any Dragon Ball fan should know and be familiar with.

Talot even remembered the exact height, weight, and three measurements of the adult Bulma and Android 18.

Of course, whether they would actually match his knowledge depended on how things are like in this real world.
