/location: Kurama kingdom.

Kraken was moving his right hand in a type-like motion. The pen in front of him was writing even without him looking. He sighed, the black circles under his eyes said a lot.
The great collapsing. The world is attached to another dimension, and that is what creates the Holes. When that other dimension has the "chosen one", better called "the supreme invader", it starts to fuse with this dimension, making the great collapse. The last great collapse 100,000 years ago was solved due to a conflict in the other dimension's lines, killing the supreme invader. Now, the oceans of no return are open, and the 5 contents can reach each other.
They are collecting "the avatars" from the Kurama kingdom under the orders of the emperor.
Oh, you might ask what the avatars are, so let me take you to the main palace of our empire, "North Heat", in the thrones, stood in front of the emperor, his middle son, Markus. Markus, as his two brothers and sister, are all avatars. Markus, a cheap copy of Gilgamesh, had inherited the golden city. And that's the avatar, it's not that valuable as most of the soldiers are avatars. However, if the one you inherited had a name, you won a lottery.
Kraken's hand stopped and the wires attached to the pin put it down and went back to the wheels. He looked at the 12 books on a different shelf; those were most useful out of the 212 books he had read. 212 books full of bullshit life stories and cliché myths, those 212 books can be summarized in 3 books of 100 pages, and that was the first 3 books of the 12. Then, you would find 3 books on his inventions and projects. Lastly, there are 6 books of his spills.
The weird about magic is it doesn't work the same for 2 people. 2 people cast a fireball; one did great, and the other did better. Yet, if the one who did great, rewrote the spill, changed the formula and the order of the symbols, and cast, his fireball would be more powerful than the one who shot it better him. So wizards create their spills and put their own thoughts and understanding in the spills yet all that with the limited runic alphabets.
"General! Your board is charged and we are ready to go." Vanilla stormed into his office… he let the door open. He nodded.
After a long walk with her big brother, as she loves to see, Vanilla stood watching her big brother, Kraken, taking all his weapons and taking all the things he made and storing them in a big long box and putting some other stuff in a heavy, thick metal vault, and sealing it carefully. He was done with all his stuff and was ready to travel; after all, he was an avatar… unknown, named avatar.
Vanilla held his hand as they both walked to the throne room. "Brother," Vanilla muttered under her breath as he walked behind him, seeing his nod "It's about Vorce.". another nod from him "Isn't anything should happen between us?" she rubbed her his hand talking about this. "first, he is your finance and not me so talk that with him," he said, "second, do you think all men are experienced?" he shot her a glance. "they should." She mumbled.
Kraken was speechless trying to find a good comeback but he couldn't so the first technique change the topic, "look he's 20 and your 19," he stopped and she did too, "Both of you lived in a hell of weakness once and you could see that he's working 10 times harder to close that door, he's taking every action to put everything in place to be ready and after the bomb that was thrown over our head. He doesn't want to make mistakes that both of you would regret.".
She looked at the ground and at the golden ring that shone in her hand. "I know…but-" he cut her "life is not a romance novel nor a happy end story, and you know that very well." His grave voice echoed in her heart and his hand broke her grip and left her alone.
'I know.' She bit her lip, she started to hate the day she got the ring that distended her from Vorce. From that day, all his promises sounded like the lies she had heard all her life, the one that thrived with her all those years yet to become like the other. A hand patting her head pulled her off her thoughts. She looked at her big brother "I will tell him when I see him," His cold face seemed more carefree as she looked at his eye, "but just this time, if you have something with him, tell him not me."
In the moment and the second, she was out of that. All the tension and the sleepless nights and the restless days of work due to the coming catastrophe, all is on the edge for over half a year from that last war with Drous and the shit raining over the head of all creatures right now isn't making anything easier.
She breathed through her nose until her lungs were full and with every little air leaving her lungs, her thoughts were being replaced with all the good memories, every small talk, every touch, and every promise. She calmed down. "Thank you, big bro," she said, returning to her cheerful self, "I will talk to him myself; you don't need to do it anymore.". "good." He replied and walked after she had held his hand as they reached to the throne.
"always late, big bro." Kraken was met with a grin young man with black circles under his eyes like his. "yeah cut the shit, are all ready?" Kraken shouted. All the soldiers in the room stomped their right foot and roared in one breath, "Waiting for orders, General!". "good. Now, all to the carriages," he shouted, and all of them went to carriages in order, "but you Vorce, you are with me". Vorce broke the line and stood next to Kraken while Vanilla went to a carriage. Kraken stood over his board, and Vorce sat on his bike. Kraken started to fly first and all of them followed him.
In minutes, an army of 20 carriages of soldiers covered the sky in a formation like birds hunting sky predators. In the lead, Kraken, and next to him, Vorce on his bike. All of his 20 soldiers have one fly machine of their design. They talked for a while, the two shared what they had known and discovered before this meeting; the last time they saw each other was 10 months ago.
"so…what's with you and Vanilla?" Kraken asked. "nothing…as I remember." Vorce replied with a deep look. "and that's the problem: nothing." Kraken's eye pierced through Vorce. "wait, what!?" Vorce's hands loosened making him dance in the air. "I know you don't know the mind fucking games women love to play. However, you must at least cut off your time a little to show that poor girl that you care or she even exists in your life." Kraken sighed as he was tired of standing on the board so he sat. Vorce looked at the open, blue sky; "women love attention, and if she doesn't have that from you, she will find another source, and you can say goodbye to the money of that ring." Kraken said while yawning as he lay on his board. He didn't get any answer from Vorce.
While Vorce was brainstorming and reflecting on what Kraken said, Kraken was sleeping on the board, yet the board kept flying like the pilot was in full charge.
It will be a very long before they reach the empire's heart.

I know another drop but I was stuck in my universal papers and preparation.
Vorce.
Vanilla.
Again I forgot to describe the MC. The MC that doesn't want to be described
And yeah, the chapter feels like a slice of life. I don't know if it is for "Can't Hurt Me", "the art of not giving a fuck", or maybe "atomic habits". But don't worry the killing and the dark will start...soon...…maybe.
