Kraken and 6 of his squid were standing in the throne room. Kraken looked the emperor in his eyes…boldly. "General Kraken! Behave yourself in the appearance of the emperor," a poor noble once said; Kraken didn't get his eye off the emperor. The noble's steps shattered the silence. He reached Kraken and faced him. "what a show of disrespect! Do you think that you're enough to look at the emperor's eyes?! You, a small piece of shit, should know its place and return to the small kingdom you came from, and to the bitch that brought you-" He shouted, but all in vain.
After a moment the emperor blinked, "Even with one eye, you still always win." A deep voice echoed in the throne room like thunder. The noble, who was giving Kraken a lecture about respect by cursing his whole ancestors, was stunned. The emperor got from the throne and walked. Facing Kraken, "Aren't you taking the offer?". "no, master,".
The emperor frowned, "fuck that," he shouted and spun, "student," he pointed at the poor noble, "this idiot will be happy to be my servant. However, I ask you to be my son, hold my name, and be my minister." He looked eyes with Kraken as he pointed at the poor noble. "Master, I already told you, I'm a guardian and I'm very grateful for your offer but I made a promise.".
The emperor was near pulling his hair. "and that's a thing that makes me want you more," He spun and kicked the ground. After looking at the throne, he remembered. "and what about my daughter?" he said with eyes full of stars. "too old for me." He said it without knowing that the beast was around the corner; a blue circle formed under his leg and an ice spike pierced through his right foot in an instant. "say it again…Gear Freak," the beast hissed making everyone sweat even the emperor. Kraken held himself with the wires while his foot started to heal at a visible rate but his facial expression shouted louder than any war cry. The 6 soldiers wanted to move and help him but he didn't ask, so none dared to move under the emperor's eyes without orders.
"Father," she said slowly; he gulped. "what did I say about using me as a trading card?" she walked from behind Kraken and his squad and stood in front of the two. "not to do that." He put his head down. "good, and you," she looked at Kraken's eye, "what's that thing about me being old?". "70 years," he said with no fuck giving, "you are 70 years old while I'm just 24.". he stood finally on his right foot to find another ice spike but this time it went from his heel up to his knee… it stayed inside.
He inhaled as much air and held it in. "I didn't hear your last sentence." She said, but there was no answer so she nodded, then looked at her father who silently made his way and sat on his throne.
He chuckled, "I hate that none of my kids have half of your brain,". The spike in Kraken's leg vanished and he healed again and stood like nothing happened but his right shoe, blood, and sweaty forehead said something else. The poor noble was in awe, 'what the fuck is happening?' he thought as his back was wet and cold by now. He looked at the nobles who smiled and laughed, and he retreated and stood beside one of them. "you should have seen your face," One of them said while most of them laughed.
The daughter kept shooting her father with deadly, laser, razer eyes. 'the same feeling as ever,' Kraken thought as that brought the good memories to the surface.
"Okay, that aside," the emperor said while his smile vanished, "your avatar had a name yet no one can decode it, and you didn't inherit anything from it," he was just stating facts that caused him to lose a lot of brain cells, "your squad have Azure, Isaac Newton, Empedocles, Marie Curie, Cecilia Payne, Beethoven. All of them had very weird names actually and I think yours will be weirder.".
In an instance, the colors of the world were washed leaving white and black when the emperor stood. "with all my powers and my name, I'm Fuogmoto North Heat, command you to stay in with all the avatars in your squad, General Kraken, and train for the next 3 years under the guild," an order that made the reality bend to his wish.
The colors of the world came back, "the best way of defense is attacking" he said and sat on his throne, "we are the invaders now. DISMISS!". With harmonic steps, they left the throne room and headed to the guild.
The guild is the place where soldiers were trained and if you have money or talent, you can get a monitor to teach you a fighting style. A lot of monitors are there with different weapons to teach and the guild offered a lot for the free trained cannon fodder too. The emperor himself is a monitor there with a very unique style to teach and a weapon too and has the impossible task of getting in that the only ones who trained under him were his daughter, second son, and Kraken.
One more note: half of the empire's heart is the guild.
They walked and Kraken was uncomfortable walking in his boot anymore so he took them off. "what that bitch think herself to hurt General Kraken?" While stomping, Vanilla said, "the eldest of emperor's kids, the biggest merchant, the first wielder of the compass style, wires, and North Heat fire and ice magic, and the main minister." The squad's newbie answered her, Loki -Marie Curie- who inherited radioactive boost. "Did both of you think for one second that General is shoeless?" the third female in the squad and the final one too. Remass Tanloss aka Beethoven, inherited the music. She took off her shoes and offered them, "Keep them; your feet are small,". But she didn't take the no well and walked shoelessly and then the 5 followed her.
Azure aka Garold is blood master. Isaac Newton aka Vanilla has rules of gravity and energy. Empedocles aka Vorce inherited the four elements of alchemy. Cecilia Payne aka Rodrick Payne, the stars maker. Beethoven and Marie Curie were already described.
And while they were walking, they met Zeus. A white-haired boy walking with 10 women: 6 are his guardians and toys and 4 are just toys. "look how much low and muddy." He put on a smug as he stopped in the middle of the way, his name was Drous Fuogmoto. However, no one looked at him as they passed them like they never existed. Kraken was passing to feel his hand being held by one of his toys. "highness is talking to you." A cow said. At that moment Vorce stood in front of Vanilla and next to Kraken while the others were behind Kraken. Kraken just pulled his hand and was turning to walk with nothing in mind, while the other were cautious. "Rodlya, did my brother say yes about the Lin?".
The woman with the most impressive tits and ass next to him smiled, "Yes, he said her virginity so you stop playing around," her smile just turned hotter, "and if she needed any backup, he would send Kamlya,". Kraken sighed and stopped his steps, "Hadn't his mother come to me bagging and offering her pussy?" he asked Vorce that had the most devilish smirk. "yes, she did, and I remember very clearly that she offered herself to be his bitch after the General had wiped his army,".
Drous and his toys frowned but his didn't last for too long. "Nice ring, Vorce, when will be the wedding?" Drous said with his eyes on Vanilla who shivered. Vorce's smirk was replaced with furious eyes but before he opened his mouth his big brother did. "Nice arm, Rodlya, does it feel like the old one?", Rodlya took a step back, holding her right arm. Again, Drous' smile was gone. "Drous, remember that I beat you once and I can do it again, anywhere, any time, and by all conditions, just say you want a stick in your ass and I will shove a tree in," Kraken's carefree face made Drous' expressions worse. "Are you threatening me?" with fire eyes and lightning rooming in the distance between them. "yes, it's a threat and you can go tell your mommy,". Kraken had raised his hand; his squad had walked away first. He turned and stood without moving, "My back is open, I'm in your home, and you have all the help you can get. However, I'm still alive and untouched. Do you know why?", Kraken gave him a side look, "because I'm the Gear Freak, Kraken,", and he just walked.
After a while the thunder could be heard. "those will be the most endless 3 years of my life," Rodrick held his honey beard.
Kraken sighed as he caught them, "the endless 3 years."
