The riders kept riding through the area and soon reached the entrance of the town while looking around. Still, they soon slowed down when they heard a hissing sound echoing in the area… they recognized the sound of arrows being fired.
The guards on the right side of the wagons had the chance to grab their weapons and prepare for battle, but most of them on the left side didn't have it. Three of them fell with arrows on their heads, dead, and when their allies on that side realized what had happened, they grabbed their shields and jumped from the horses, too.
