"Fuck, where am I?"
A young teen said as he looked around at his surroundings.
All around him, he could see large walls surrounding him in a circle, and on top of them were hundreds of stone stands where he imagined hundreds of people would be sitting.
Getting up on his feet the teen thought to himself.
'I was just training at the center when everything blacked out and now I'm here'
The teen was a nineteen year old boy with black hair and eyes, standing quite tall at six foot one and wearing a combat training suit.
His name is White, White Sins. He was a young teen who was a part of the military training program for the Future or for short MTPF, he had always dreamed of becoming strong since he was a kid and always used to tell his parents how he would protect them and all of humanity in the future.
However, life wasn't so idealistic and dreams often failed to turn into reality. His parents had died when he had been at the early age of seven and he had been left all alone, becoming an orphan in this day and age was nothing short of a direct road to either death or becoming a begar for the rest of your life unless they decided to become apart of the army.
Walking around, White started looking at his surroundings more closely however he found nothing out of the ordinary besides the whole teleporting into what looked like some old arena.
'No, you could call everything here unordinary, this looks like it's come straight out of times far into the past. Like something made millennia ago.' White thought as he touched his chin with his index finger, his head full of thoughts however he couldn't make sense of the situation at all.
At that moment, however, everything around him changed.
*Ding*
All around him, the stands were instantly filled with thousands of spectators and their shouts of excitement made it almost look like the ground itself was vibrating from the high energy.
In front of White appeared a small holographic panel, On it only one word was written.
Survive
White's heart jumped as it started beating frantically in his chest, for a moment he even thought it would explode from the intensity, his palms instantly got covered in sweat and he hurried to grab the sword on his waist.
The sword however was merely a training sword, made so that students could practice their moves but couldn't hurt each other. While it showcased high durability, it was merely made from a combination of plastics that were dull and weren't made to slash anything at all.
'Fuck' was the first thought that came to White's mind when he saw what stood on the other corner of the arena.
On the other side of the Arena stood a humongous human or could it even be called one when it stood at over eight feet tall with muscles covering it from head to toe, its mouth wide open showing its sharp jagged teeth while drool was leaking out of it onto the ground.
At that moment the holographic screen appeared again in front of White.
[ Defeat the Laestrygonian 0/1 ]
[ Reward: Unlocking the Mythology System. ]
[ Failure: Death ]
'What the hell is a Laestrygo or however the fuck this thing is called' White thought as he stared at the screen.
White couldn't continue to think any longer however as he heard loud thumps getting closer and closer to his position.
Lifting his head up, he saw the giant Laestrygonian running towards his direction, it didn't seem to have weapons or armor of any kind on its body and was entirely naked, but from what White could see, it really didn't need to have any, with how much muscle it had then it could simply rip him apart with its bare hands.
'This bastard' White thought as he started running towards the edge of the arena.
The Arena was quite big and it could likely even hold a battle of tens of people at the same time and by the time White had arrived at its edge, he could almost feel the giant upon him.
White could hear the footsteps coming closer and closer, no matter how fast he had tried to run towards the edge.
'It's not only huge but it's also fast!' White thought in frustration.
He finally arrived at the wall surrounding the entire arena, and he turned around to face the Laestrygonians immediately, not daring to take his eyes off the monster for a second longer.
The monster of a creature was now only a few feet away from White, It seemed like it was planning to charge straight into him and crush him together with the wall.
'Alright, I can work with this, Let's find out how durable you really are Laesty gorilla' White thought as he waited for the right moment.
'three'
'two'
'one'
'NOW' White thought as he jumped horizontally as fast as he could.
The Laestrygonian had already arrived, It had charged right at White and if he had been a split second off then he would have surely turned into a meat paste on the wall.
*BANG*
A dust cloud rose around the wall where the Laestrygonians had smashed its body on.
White who was right next to the wall suffered from the dust going into his eyes however he didn't dare close them and he didn't wait for a second as he immediately got up on his feet.
'I don't know how fast this monster can recover from the recoil of hitting that wall straight on, but this is my chance and it might not come back anytime soon if I miss it.' White thought as he raised the sword which he still had in his grip.
Even though he had fallen on the ground and had been on the run with his emotions through the roof, he had never lost grip of his weapon. His grip had been so strong that blood could be seen dripping from the handle onto the dusty ground of the Arena.
Not waiting any longer, White rushed towards the dust cloud which was quickly clearing up.
He saw the humongous Laestrygonians on his knees, the monster was lifting itself up as White neared it.
Releasing a shout from the adrenaline he was feeling, White thrust his sword towards the Laestrygonian's neck.
'Slashing won't work with this dull sword, but even a dull tip can pierce with high enough strength.' White thought as he put his all into the stab.
*Schlik*
The sword started sinking into the monster's neck.
*Bang*
White was struck by the monster's backhand merely a split second later, sending him flying backward toward the center of the arena.
