"Oh yes, there is also the alarm that comes off when a guard is unconscious." Sloven spoke up as though he suddenly recalled something: "We need to find someone with the rare technological ability that will hack into the device and make sure the alarm doesn't go off."
"Huh?" Bray was stunned. He felt that this wasn't something someone like Sloven, who was also a prisoner like him, was supposed to know about. I mean, he was captured a few days prior to me, could he have someone passing all this information onto him?
Sloven seemed to know what Bray was thinking and chuckled slightly. "You'd be surprised what some of the guards can do for the sake of some liquor," he said.
Bray suddenly came to an understanding, but along with it came another question, "Liquor?" Where the hell can someone get liquor from in this cell? Bray suddenly realized what he had said: for someone like him that could create anything with the system, this wasn't something he should be saying.
Sloven nodded at Bray's surprised expression, "That is a discussion for another day." Sloven didn't continue the discussion, rather, he went back to what he was saying previously: "Due to a slight slip from a guard, I discovered that there are many more mechanics hidden underneath the watch that the guards wear."
"It may seem ordinary," Sloven waved his hand around as though he were describing something, "but beneath it are so many technologies." darkness pulsed in his hand as it condensed into something like a black watch that wrapped around both he and Bray's hands.
"All the guards must stay within 2 meters of each other at all times. Sometimes it may seem like they are not within such distance, but there is definitely another guard within such distance, just a distance away."
"Why? How can that be something we need to watch over?" Bray didn't fully understand what Sloven meant, it was just a distance of two meters, if they could hack into the technological capabilities of the watch, then everything would naturally be settled.
"That's what I thought at first, but if they are away from each other by more than 2 meters, then a simultaneous alarm will ring out in all the watches of the guards." A deep light flashed in the black watch light object that was wrapped around Bray's hand.
"Along with it, the location of the guard that broke the distance rule will be revealed. What I want you to understand is that you, at whatever you are doing, even when you are sneaking around, need to make sure you don't harm a guard, even if you do, make sure he isn't unconscious or more than two meters away." Sloven advised as though he seemed to know what Bray was thinking.
And just like he had guessed, Bray truly did have that thought. This night, he planned to sneak around in order to study the world prison. What he had planned to do when he encountered any guards was what any normal person would do in the case he was discovered: 'knock them out!'
Did I just almost lose my life due to insufficient information about this world prison? Bray could already imagine how the location of the knocked-out guard would be revealed to every other guard, and he would be tracked, without his knowledge, he wouldn't even know how he died!
He turned to look at Sloven gratefully, thanks to Sloven's warning, he would be much more cautious when handling matters with the guards.
"How can we find someone with a technological ability?" Bray changed the topic and asked, "And a good one at that?" He had already fought everyone currently in the prison, and he knew that there was no one with such an ability.
"There are two options," Sloven answered as he raised two fingers up, bringing one down. "One, we will wait patiently while hoping that someone with such an ability would be captured and placed in our cell."
Seeing Sloven's solemn gaze, Bray frowned slightly. What sort of option is that? Living everything to faith? This was not a chance Bray could take, how long would it be before someone that perfectly fit the criteria appeared? He listened on, and at this moment Sloven stated the second option, bringing down his second raised finger.
"The second option is to sneak out to the other prison cells and find the person that perfectly fits the criteria we need." Sloven's gaze was still solemn as he turned his gaze away from his hand, looking deeply into Bray's eyes. "The only problem is the amount of risk involved and whether you are willing to take it."
Was he willing to take such a risk?
Living in this world prison was already risky enough! Bray smiled lightly inwardly, besides, the second option Sloven had seemed to go in line with the thought he had. If I can move to another prison, I can challenge others from there and gain some more versatile points.
Going there to look for someone that fits that criteria isn't my only purpose for choosing to go to the other cells. I can gain more versatile points, and who knows, even if I don't find such a person, I can create an ability with all the versatile points I gained!
Bray came to a decision and then turned to Sloven after thinking for a while, "It's alright, is it not sneaking out to the other cells? What's there to be afraid of?"
Seeing the expression on Bray, Sloven nodded. He knew he had chosen the right person. He laughed lightly and then said, "Alright, then it is decided. I will find a guard to handle the removal of the shackles, and he will also be in charge of disguising you so that you can sneak out."
"Alright, thanks." Bray laughed then said with a glint, "You really do have a lot of connections in this prison."
Sloven didn't notice his glint under the darkness of the room. "Haha, it's nothing, just luck, just luck."
Now it was time, Bray had made his decision, the beginning of their fate and journey of escape had finally begun. Two men, so similar yet so different, would they escape the world prison with all these preparations in the end?
