Chapter 3 - assassin mode(updated)

---

The soldiers, trembling with fear, couldn't move as Hakishi's presence overwhelmed them. His eyes glowed an eerie white, and his hair rippled with energy.

"It's time I end this," Hakishi said, his voice cold as ice.

With deliberate slowness, he took a single step toward the remaining soldiers. As his foot hit the ground, one soldier froze in place, his body stiffening like a statue.

"We're not scared of you..." one of the soldiers tried to muster, but his words barely left his lips when another soldier froze, his face locked in terror.

Suddenly, a surge of magic filled the air as the remaining soldiers gathered their strength. Chanting in unison, they called upon an ancient spell.

"AL FAN DAS TE!"

Five colossal beams of energy hurtled toward Hakishi, each one capable of obliterating anything in its path. Hakishi didn't even flinch. He breathed deeply, his chest rising and falling like the calm before a storm.

With a flick of his wrist, the beams shattered before they could even reach him, the powerful explosion of light and energy harmlessly dissipating in the air.

Hakishi's eyes narrowed, and his lips curled into a smirk. "Time to end this."

He raised his hand toward the soldiers, and with a single, effortless thought, he altered their weapons. The drills they had used to attack transformed into bizarre shapes. Instead of deadly spinning metal, the drills now shot bananas from their tips, useless and absurd.

The soldiers stared in disbelief, but before they could react, Hakishi twisted their drills into harmless, ridiculous shapes and laughed softly. His power was too overwhelming for them to comprehend.

Still holding the drills in his hands, Hakishi turned to face them, a sly grin on his face. "AL FAN DAS TE."

Once again, five massive beams shot toward the soldiers. But this time, they weren't ready. The soldiers, panicked and confused by the ridiculous bananas shooting from their hands, could do nothing.

The beams obliterated them in an instant, leaving nothing but scorched earth behind.

Hakishi surveyed the battlefield, satisfied with the outcome. But just as he was about to turn away, a voice called out to him from the distance.

"I saw your fight," a young boy said, stepping forward. His dark eyes gleamed with determination. "I want a challenge. Can you fight me?"

Hakishi tilted his head, intrigued. "Okay."

The boy's hair shifted, turning a striking shade of blue and black, crackling with energy. He let out a dark laugh, one that sent chills down the spine of anyone who heard it.

"You made a mistake saying yes," the boy sneered.

In a flash, the boy opened his hand, and a cursed shadow poured out, enveloping Hakishi's body. Hakishi's skin began to crack and peel as the curse spread, twisting his form.
