Sebastian stared at his boss in disbelief when he heard his words, he couldn't help but itch his head in confusion.
Was Mr White talking about his sister or the staff he just saw?
It was though God was watching and decided to spare him because the door opened and the young missus entered
"Big bro!" Maella sweet teenage voice shouted happily, she walked into the office and wasn't surprised to see Sebastian looking like he had eaten a bitter jelly for lunch
" What are you doing here?" Arthur's magnetic voice spoke directly into her ears
"I came to see my big bro at work!" Maella smiled and walked up to the table before sitting down carelessly on the chair opposite him but Arthur neither flinched nor looked up at her angrily, the room wasn't as cold as before and Sebastian was flaggerbasted
The president really had a soft spot for his sister! He sighed
"Big bro, the new marketing assistant you employed is really nice" Maella said happily while eyeing her brother to see his reaction
She and her father tried constant times to get him into going on a date or even getting married but they were as unfruitful as a fig tree, they had tried so much that they decided to place a bet
Whosoever made him go on a date first would be given something they really cherish and since then they had tried harder than before.Of course, Arthur himself found out about the bet but it even angered him that he was considered a game for their play
"Didn't I ask you to get rid of the intruders" Arthur's voice echoed into Sebastians ears and he knew instantly that he was referring to the young missus
"But Mr Aurthur asked me to bring the intruders into his office so he could punish them" Sebastian said but instantly regreted it, he felt those words were surely the biggest mistake he had made in his life
The room temperature escalated to 40 degrees and Sebastian began to feel sweat dropping from his forehead
"Sebastian are you okay?"Maella looked at Sebastian with a funny gaze, she found it amusing that her brothers words could make a grown man like him shudder
"I...I..young..missus... please can you lea..ve" Sebastian shakingly mumbled
Maella frowned slightly and stood up
"You know you'll have to get married someday" She smirked and walked up to the door
Arthur nodded slightly before she left and Sebastian used the opportunity to leave the office the office as well
As soon as Maelaa got out of the office , she gave Sebastian a warm smile
"Don't inform my father of my comings" She said and walked away.
Sebastian took a relieved breath before walking to his office

The day ended quickly and soon Cora was packing up to go home, Della walked into her office and watched her pack
"When your done packing we can go home together, you said you leave at B road didn't you?" She said
Cora didn't know how to tell Della she couldn't follow her home, she really respected and liked her especially after what she did for her today at the restaurant, she kind of felt she owed her, but she really needed to pick Nancy up from Mona's house
"I'm sorry but I have to pick my baby up from a friend's house, she'll get angry if I'm late"Cora looked at her apologetically
Della looked at her indifferently but she had a hint of suprise in her eyes
"Nancy's your child! No wonder you kept talking about her, I can't wait to see her" Della chuckled lightly and nodded
"I'll see you tomorrow then, and I won't forget about the plot I am to design, I'll try working on it tonight" Cora gave her a friendly smile
"Well see next week, boss has given the day off to all staffs tomorrow, his father will be visiting town and it's always a day of celebration since he comes rarely" Della informed her
"I didn't know that?" Cora felt embarrassed
" Did you check the Wechat, it's written there and we were reinformed today"
Cora sighed and thanked her before finishing packing up, Della went out of the company and hailed a cab before leaving
Sebastian had just finished packing as well but couldn't leave the company without his boss' approval.
He walked downstairs and sighted Della leaving the company, few seconds later, Cora also walked out of the company and Sebastian recognized her as the woman who the young missus had talked to the boss about, he couldn't help but admit she was a stunning beauty, the different models and celebrities he had seen did not compare to her beauty, She would surely win Miss Earth if there was ever an award for that, suddenly his phone rang and he picked it up with a grown
" Get the car!" A cool voice rang in his ears and he gulped hard
"Yes sir"Was all he could utter

Cora's car pulled up at Mona's apartment and she got out if it, she walked up to the door and knocked on it twice, soon she heard a chubby cute voice and the door opened widely
" Mommy!"Nancy gave her a big hug
" Hi baby, Mommy's here to take you home"Cora smiled
" Ok"Nancy nodded happily, she had waited patiently for her mother, not wanting to give Aunty Romona a hard time
They both walked back into the house so Cora could thank Romona properly
Mona had just finished washing the plates her and Nancy used in eating when she heard a knock on the door,knowing it was Cora she she rounded up what she was doing quickly
" Thank you some much Mona, your a life saver"Cora said happily and gave her a hug
"No problem, Nancy has been a good kid and my good baby,don't be offended if I kidnap her one day" Mona joked and the girls laughed
Cora didn't want to spend too much time there since she needed to complete the plot before Monday, she didn't want to appear at the office with no plot even after the break, luckily Mona understood and promised she would take care of Nancy anytime she needed any help
After saying goodbye, Cora took Nancy home
"Mommy did you get the job you applied for?" Nancy curiously asked as soon as the car hot the road
" Yes and as promised mommy got you ice cream to celebrate"Cora said with a smile
"Can I lick mine now!"Nancy asked with excitedly but Cora shaked her head
"You will once you get home okay!" Nancy nodded at her words and focused on the road they drove on,the street lights showed the beauty of the streets and made it less scarier at night.Nancy was a very good girl and always obeyed her mom and that was the reason Cora was surprised she had fought even after she asked her not to, Cora decided to call Miss Flora so as to tell her she would be coming tomorrow for the meeting with Lara's parents, she hoped they were people she could easily talk to as she didn't want to stare up trouble

The night passed by very quickly and Cora stood at the mirror checking her appearance, she rarely checked how she looked but since it was Saturday and it wasn't her usual day of taking Nancy to school she needed to dress neatly
Nancy walked into the room and was so proud of her mommy's appearance that she couldn't help but compliment her
"You look so beautiful Mommy"She said happily, she knew how much people envied her mommy because of her beauty but she always considered them bitter and bad mouthed, she just simply didn't want to tell the truth to themselves
" Thank you baby, has Aunty May come yet?"Cora smiled brightly at Nancy's compliment and asked
" Not yet mommy, but you need not worry, I can take care of my self"Nancy said seriously, Cora only laughed and squatted next to her before pinching her cheeks
"Mommy knows how grown-up Nancy is but mommy is scared that people will take Nancy for her cuteness and only Aunty May can protect her" She said
Nancy thought about it for a while and nodded, it was true she was very cute and anyone who'd want to have a cute baby as there's and that's the reason Aunty May had to protect her,so she won't worry mommy
There was a knock on the door and Cora went to open it, Aunty May walked inside and Nancy ran to hug her happily
" Aunty May, mommy said you will protect me, is that trie," She asked with a smile
Aunty May face couldn't help but beem with a smile
"Yes,Aunty May will protect cutie Nancy"She nodded
"Baby, why don't you go watch TV, Mommy wants to talk to Aunty May for a while"Cora said
"Okay mommy!"Nancy answered and ran to the TV excitedly
" I promise I'll be back quickly,Nancy got into another fight at school and they called for a meeting" Cora said sadly
Aunty May looked at her and smiled
"Don't worry yourself,take your time, Remember Nancy is in safe hands"Aunty May assured her
Cora nodded with a relieved gaze and Aunty May was the closest person she had to a mother,she had taken care of Cora as a child when she had a hard time at the Miller family
Cora opened the door and walked out after saying goodbye to Nancy, she had to set things straight at the only school she could afford for Nancy before she received her first salary
