Chapter 7
Everyone was shocked for they knew Master Whites threats were never empty,but they were equally surprised when Arthur didn't say a word to even pacify his anger,Arthur sighed at his father's words and the room became uncomfortably quiet for a while
"I'll try to do as you want but you'll have to give me time first, I'm not one who'll go around searching for a woman who will gnaw over me to marry" He finally broke the killing silence and Sebastian couldn't help but be marvelled.
Mr White really had a soft spot for his family,he accepted his father's words without a fight, he thought with a soft smile
Kingsley cold face brightened and he walked over to Arthur with a satisfied look
"I trust your judgement on any woman you take as a wife, I'll wait till the end of he year for her arrival,make sure she comes to see me once you've proposed marriage to her" Arthur nodded without a word, Kingsley smiled before turning around to leave.
Sebastian followed him out with crossed fingers,he watched as Kingsley entered into his car and was about leaving, he walked out of the gate with a relieved sigh, luckily he had parked his car outside
As he was about entering into it, a car stopped near him and the window wond down to reveal Kingsley in he back seat.
"Sebastian,I have a job for you,you are to follow my son everywhere and to make sure you report to me anytime you see a woman close to him,never leave his side without giving me a report understood!"He said in his authoritative and magnetic voice, completely different from the one he had used on his son
"Yes..sir"Sebastian answered with a bowed head, he felt Arthur had taken his monstrous attitude from his father since he had the same effect it had on him with Kingsley.If Kingsley had taken a look at his legs,he would have sent them shake visibly.
"And one more instruction, don't tell my daughter what happened today"He commanded before leaving.
Sebastian couldn't help but sigh,he had taken one job,yet he was a slave for the entires family commands

At the Miller's Villa,Gabby had threw her phone angrily when Cora had cut the call on her,At that moment Kimora had just returned froman outing with her friends when she sighted her mother glaring at her broken phone at her broken phone angrily
"Mom is anything wrong?"She asked confusingly, wondering what foolish person had made her mom angry
"I thought you informed me that that bitch is now a car claener at a mall, what then gives her such audacity to treat me without respect"Gabby stated angrily,if not for her foolish husband,she surely wouldn't have called that dog at all
"Is it that bitch Cora, did she ask for forgiveness after all those years, she must be so stupid to think we would give her a time or day"Kimora rolled her eyes in disgust
Gabby looked at her daughter indifferently, she couldn't help but throw her book at her
"Didn't you hear a thing I just said,she cut the call on me and insulted our family,a slug like her doesn't deserve to even be taken in by stray dogs"Gabby mumbled angrily while Kimora stared her eyes in shock,she had seen Cora a few days ago and had concluded she must be cleaning cars at the mall or why else will she have came out of a car,yet she didn't put her pride aside and beg for forgiveness from the Miller Family, instead she threatened her with angry words,anger and jealousy slowly enloped her as she felt Cora must really be kept by a rich old man,why else would she be looking fresh and beautiful
"Mommy,do you think Cora could be more beautiful outside than how she looked when living with this family"She couldn't help but ask
Gabby stated at her daughter for a moment and then sneered
"That can only be if she is kept by a rich old man"She answered without even thinking
Kimora smiled at her mother's words, nothing good could ever come out from a shameless pig like Cora,she smiled as she thought of hoew perfect she would live when she eventually got married to Richard Brown,he supposed fiance who Cora had lost due to her stupidity
"We still need to look for a way to call her,your father wants her back for some reason better known to him, I would have thought of another solution if her had told me his reason but he's being as stubborn as always"Her mother complained angrily which made her frown, someone like that dog shouldn't be given a second chance but still Blake Miller had asked for her the moment things were getting better,this only made her hate Cora the more
Gabby's phone rang and she reluctantly picked it up from the floor, seeing the caller she smiled and placed the broken phone on her ears while Kimora ran upstairs to take a look at the expensive clothes and accessories she had bought

Cora got back home and opened the door quietly afraid she would wake Nancy up,she figured she might be asleep especially since she loved sleeping when Aunty May was around to play with her,she walked briskly into the sitting room and sighted Aunty May watching TV
"Cora,your home early,did you settle the problems in Nancy's school?"She asked with a motherly smile.
Cora on the other had shook her head and relaxed on the chair,she focused her eyes on the television lazily.She was damn tired
"Are you alright dear or is something bothering you?"Aunty May spoke with a concerned voice of a parent
Cora took a deep breath and sat up,she knew she couldn't keep anything from Aunty May,she was God's sent, a mother to her and she trusted her more than anyone in the world
"I got a call from the Miller Family today,they asked me to come for a visit and that Blake wants to see me" She said softly
"And did you accept?" Aunty May asked
"No, didn't,they wouldn't even be able to use force on me if they try,I would rather die than step foot into that house again"Cora mumbled angrily,bitter memories flooded her head but her eyes were devoid of any emotions, you couldn't easily read her eyes,her energy always spoke for her,she had promised never to be weak again and severed all ties with them when she had Nancy,she wondered if they hadn't got the memo
"Well your a woman who has always listened to her heart,it's what got to where you are now, a strong, lovely and kind soul who puts the well being of her child before her own needs, I will always support you no matter what"Aunty May broke into her thoughts and stared at her with admiration I'm her eyes
"Thank you, everyone deserves a mother like you"Cora smiled and hugged her.
"Mommy,your back!"A little,cute voice spoke with both excitement and laziness and Cora looked up only to see Nancy in her night wear not to far from them, she looked very cute in her rabbit night wear and the cubby ears of the rabbit feel close to her chubby face
"Yes Mommy is back and she'll read Nancy a bed time story tonight"She smiled
Nancy smiled happily and her sleepy eyes sparked in excitement
"Yeh!I'll go to bed now and wait for you Mommy"She giggled and ran off quickly to her bedroom
"Good night Aunty May" Cora said with a sweet smile
"Good night dear"Aunty May mumbled before staring back at the TV while Cora ran quickly to Nancy's room
"Which book will you read for me today mommy"Nancy spoke as soon as Cora stepped into the room
Cora glanced at the books on the table and realized she had read them all to Nancy already which meant she had to read her something she had read before
"Don't worry Mommy,We should read The princess and the frog"Nancy said when she saw her mommy finding it hard to look for a story to read
"Ok baby!"Cora smiled and picked up the book carefully, suddenly she realised she hadn't finished the book the last time she read stories to Nancy,she couldn't help but praise Nancy's smartness
"My baby is very smart and mature and as her gift,I'll buy her three new books and a toy instead" Cora promised with a cheerful smile
Nancy looked at her mother happily, her mommy always bought her one book and she barely had toys since they were too expensive,she was happy her mom was buying her a ew toy which she would show off to her friends
"Mommy when will I be going back to school, I'm really sorry for fighting and I will never do it again"Nancy said apologically
"Mommy isn't angry with Nancy,she knows she will never fight again, now let me read you the book, mommy's aready sleepy"Cora said ad yawned
Nancy quickly obeyed and lied back in bed to listen to Cora's sweet and soft voice,Cora had nearly reached the ending when Nancy feel asleep, she carefully tocked her into bed before leaving
Cora quickly took her shower before climbing on her bed to take a nap
