"There's no way I'm gonna take this baby! I didn't get you pregnant!" Aiden roared at his girlfriend.
"And where' you think I got this pregnancy from?" Chloe wasn't ready to back down either.
"I don't know, you better go ask the other niggas you've been fucking around, Chloe."
"Fuck you!." Her eyes squinted with the anger burning in her chest.
"I ain't the one who's gone opening my legs to get banged by any guy I see in the club."
"I don't go to no clubs, and who told you I go seeing other guys?"
"No one told me when you was fucking my best friend!"
"What?"
"Yes! And your phone says it all. I saw your chat with the Jackson guy, you calling him baby and shit." He hit his forehead out of frustration, Chloe was the only girl he'd loved since high-school and it hurt him to see that she'd been cheating on him all these years. "You ain't got any more lies yeah?"
"He's just a friend. Calling him baby's just a way of being nice and sweet."
"Oh yeah?"
"Oh yeah!"
"Then what' you mean when you texted him telling him the sex was so damn good and asking him if he came inside you during the second round?"
Chloe could tell he really knew what he was saying, he just said it exactly as she wrote in the text. "When did he go through my phone to see all these?" She wondered before turning to him. "You've been going through my phone? My privacy? You're pathetic!" She turned to walk out.
"I knew you're gonna run away from the question and make this about privacy. You've been banging other dudes, now you're pregnant for one of 'em and here you are, tryna make me take responsibility." Aiden waved her away disdainfully, his lip curling in disgust."
"You calling me a whore?"
"I didn't do that, you just did. And I wouldn't say you're far from the truth."
Clap! Chloe angrily slapped Aiden so hard the echoes terrified her.
"You've got the guts yeah? You've got the nerve to hit me knowing fully well you're wrong." He wasn't going to hit back, he knew he'd be the one ending up in trouble with the authorities if he did.
"You're calling me a cheat and you know you're the only one I've been with, you're my boyfriend." She insisted.
"I'm your boyfriend, but we use a goddamn condom every single fucking time."
"And what about the times you take it off so I can give you some head?"
"That's for the head, you don't get pregnant from swallowing my load." He hit his hand angrily on the table, making the controller to his Xbox Series X fall on the ground. "Shit!" He immediately regretted doing that.
"Aiden you go in raw after the head game."
"And I pull out every single time."
"Your pull out game's weak Aiden."
"Oh now she's gonna blame it on mi pull out game yeah?"
"It's not just your pull out game Aiden, your income's weak, your attention towards me's weak, the level of gifts you give me's weak. Everything about this relationship is weak."
"This is what I get for all the years I've spent loving you. Insults and unfaithfulness.? You should'a told me you didn't love me no more, instead of going behind my back to scream other guy's names."
"I ain't insulting you, I'm just being truthful here, you don't get to spend money on me like other guys do."
"Now you're telling me right in the face that other guys spend on you? And you go on taking gifts and shit from them but none o' them's ever wanted to bang you?"
"They know how to treat a woman better." She sounded more confident and arrogant.
"And I don't yeah? But you'd rather force me with a baby that's not mine than take it to the real mother fucker who nutted in you."
"It's your damn baby!" She screamed! "How many times do I have to tell you that?" She added.
"No it ain't mine! Take a look at those bags right there." He pointed in the direction of the room "Those are your bags and I want 'em outta here before I get back."
"You're sending me outta your home?"
"I ain't just sending you out Chloe, I'm breaking the fuck up with you. I can't keep having my heart broken every single time. Leave my life alone. I want peace."
ONE MONTH EARLIER
Aiden thought about his girlfriend, Chloe as he bounced up the steps to his best friend's room. Scott was the first friend he made in the University and they were still very close in their third
year.
For a moment he paused to admire the gift he wrapped to give his girlfriend "I'm gonna go surprise her with this after I'm done playing Call of Duty with Scott. Damn man, I love this girl."
He had an Xbox controller in hand and couldn't wait to beat his best friend's ass in the online battle.
He didn't even bother knocking because Scott's house was practically his second home. There were times he used to come live with him for about a week, going to basketball practice together, reading and sharing book ideas to write about.
But this time, Aiden was shocked by what he saw in his best friend's house.
"Yo, Scott! Ready to get your butt kicked? Let's get you destroyed on Call of duty." Aiden hollered as he swung the door open and headed straight for Scott's room.
"Wait a minute. What's that sound?" He paused in the hallway, hearing sounds from Scott's room.
"Oh Scott… Mmm…" A female voice moaned.
"You like that?" Scott asked in a deep voice behind that closed door.
"Yes! Just put it inside already. I wanna feel you inside."
Aiden tried to hold in his laughter after realizing what was going on in that room "This fool's definitely fucking another girl ha ha." He covered his mouth with his palms "Dude lost his virginity last semester and now he's activated playboy mode." He was about to go away to give him some privacy when he heard Scott say "Chloe you okay? Am I going to hard?"
"It feels so good… Just keep going, I'm gonna cum."
Aiden suddenly paused as his jaw dropped from shock. "Chloe? Is this who I'm thinking? Chloe My girl? This better not be my girlfriend!"
Curiosity piqued and Aiden went closer to discover the door was unlocked "They're so into this shit they even forgot to lock the door." He pushed it open just a crack. "What the fuck!" His heart sank as he saw his best friend Scott pulling his girlfriend's hair as he stroked her furiously.
"This can't be true." There were tears in Aiden's eyes and he was terrified at the fact that they didn't even notice his presence because they were busy enjoying the pleasures they found in each other's nakedness.
"What the hell?" Aiden's voice was louder than he intended. Scott and Chloe sprang apart in shock, their faces turning pale as they saw him.
"Oh shit! Aiden! It's not what it looks like," Scott stammered, scrambling to his feet.
"What?" Aiden's hands clenched into fists. "Not what it looks like? You kiddin' me right now? Man you got your wood inside my girlfriend and you say it's not what it looks like?"
"Bro I can explain this to you."
"Even a baby knows when he sees people fucking. You're an asshole Scott!" He fought so hard resisting the urge to punch him right in the face.
Chloe rolled her eyes, completely unfazed. "Aiden, you don't knock before entering people's rooms?" That's what she could say after being caught in such an act.
"What? You ain't even remorseful about this? Chloe!" Aiden's eyes opened wide in shock. He'd always known her to careless about his feelings sometimes and she hurt him alot despite his efforts to keep her, but she'd never spoken to him like that before.
"You gotta calm down Aiden." She said, reaching for her undies on the floor. "Look, it's hard to resist a guy who's got money. Scott's loaded, and you… well, you ain't."
Aiden felt a punch to his gut. Was she really saying this to him after she was caught cheating?
"Don't people normally feel ashamed to be caught in situations like this?" She didn't love him after all. She only accepted to date him because her friend wanted Aiden but she was selfish to keep him for herself.
"Now it's about money? What're you talkin' bout, Chloe? I thought we were happy."
"Happy?" Chloe scoffed, then confidently took her bra from the table they'd thrown it when things were heated up. "Look, Aiden, if you want a loyal girlfriend, you better work hard and get some money. I ain't gonna wait around forever."
Scott's face was a mix of guilt and confusion. "Chloe, that's not fair—" He wasn't so happy to betray his best friend. Or maybe he just wasn't proud to be caught with his best friend's girl. The news will be all over the Campus the moment Aiden told just one person outside that room.
