I woke up from an absolutely fantastic sleep with my body completely relaxed and my stomach growling.
"Any idea how we get her food?" murmured a voice under me, his words causing my entire body to vibrate. "I am worried that her stomach is going to come out of her and eat me if we don't feed her soon."
There was a chorus of chuckles around, but I didn't take He'dtaalh's words to heart. I was just so happy that everyone was here and… happy.
But He'dtaalh was right about something. If I didn't get something to eat soon, my stomach was probably going to put a hole through my back.
"Shit," grunted Wrukaog, and I could feel something moving under my wing.
Wait, when did I have wings? Well, I knew I had wings; I just thought that they had disappeared.
