Apparently, this castle was the gift that kept on giving. As soon as we passed through the stone gates, the massive doors closed behind us with a resounding thud. The main hall that we had entered was decorated with three large tables placed in a 'U' shape.
White tablecloths hung down to the floor, and the table facing us was equipped with nine seats, at least 50 candles, and more food than we could possibly eat in a single sitting.
The candles had a warm glow, as if welcoming us home after a long day at work, and the scent of turkey, potatoes, and stuffing filled my nose.
"Is it safe to eat?" asked Axis, speaking for the first time in a while. At the sound of his voice, each chair pulled away from the table as if begging us to sit down and eat something.
"Is that the phantoms?" grunted Zua'the. "Because I don't really trust them."
