The notifications were endless. The once-mighty knight was no longer a threat to him. His shadow had grown to a terrifying level, which Cedric realized corresponded to his willpower. The more his willpower rose, the more powerful his shadow would become.
In a sense, his willpower referred to the power of his soul. Although Cedric could not understand the relationship it had with his mana regeneration, it was obvious that his shadow would be strengthened if his soul was strengthened.
Shadows were extensions of souls, after all.
