From what Enzo knew, the Crimson Serpents were not only a big deal in Kinsaw City, but all of Country Z.
Country Z had three main powers.
The Government who was 'officially' in charge, had the police and military. It was a democracy, which meant, in Enzo's opinion, it was boring as hell.
The Crimson Serpents, who ran the underground world, seemed to have the most power since they dug their hands into everything. They were a little more interesting since it seemed that their leader was a single person, yet Enzo was never sure who it was in his last life.
He would have to uncover their identity and offer them a contract similar to the one he had so graciously bestowed on Mikell, the leader of the sewer rats.
Yes. Apparently, that was their official name,
Enzo was traveling through Kinsaw City, currently on his way toward Nox City. He was on a train that was slightly faster than his top speed.
He could have made it faster on foot, but it was not worth the risk of setting off military radars or other signals to save five minutes.
If Enzo could have saved the two hours it took to get there by going on foot, he would.
As he sat on the train, he gazed out the window. To his senses, it looked as though the train was moving at a jog.
He marveled at the feeling of getting to view the city like he was touring it in VR.
Once Update 2.0 was launched, the Earth changed and would never be the same again.
Technology wasn't useful, trains became obsolete, and that meant he no longer could savor the view as he did now.
As the scenes flashed by, he saw the biggest building in Kinsaw City, the BlackLobster's branch office.
This brought him to the third and most mysterious of powers in Country Z, the Bayloff Family.
The Bayloff Family were the complete owners of the BlackLobster Corporation. In Enzo's previous life, they had remained mysterious up until Update 2.0 where they broke into the limelight like a shooting meteor.
Over half of Earth's awakens (normally, one awakens at Tier-2), were from the Bayloff family or worked for them.
They proceeded to dominate Earth and fight, successfully claiming the top guild spot in Enzo's old life.
'Little good it did when Earth still got obliterated, and everyone was forced into the Razzar continent permanently.'
He spent the rest of the train ride in silence, and when he arrived at his stop, he wasted no time and sprinted out of the train's opening doors.
None of the people noticed, and with his high dexterity, his reflexes allowed him to maneuver around pedestrians easily.
His goal on his trip to Nox City was two things. One was to visit the local Crimson Serpants branch, but for that, he needed an 'in'.
None of his previous life's memories allowed him to identify the Crimson Serpant's location in Nox City, and using brute force to find that out was a great way to scare them into hiding.
The last thing Enzo wanted right now was to waste time.
Even with his race change and his massive increases in elemental mastery, he still needed more power.
The integration of Earth into the greater multiverse wasn't something a puny mortal could have a big say in. And to reach the Heroic ranks (Tier-4, Tier-5, Tier-6) and shed his mortal body, he needed a lot of power, money, and allies.
Port forbade him from using any resources from the Dragon Clan to help Earth as that would draw the rest of the 5 Factions' attention.
Port assured him that Enzo was not ready for that yet.
Enzo came to an abrupt halt twenty steps away from a large mansion.
He appeared behind a tree and walked toward the gated entrance.
"Halt!" Two guards, wearing black suits, sunglasses, and earpieces, stood in front of the gate.
"What is your business here?" One of the guards asked, his posture suggesting if Enzo tried anything, he would reach for the gun holstered on his hip.
"You don't look qualified to have business with the Begonee house." The second man said, his voice thick with an Italian accent.
"I've come to talk with your young don Alfonzo," Enso said, walking up toward the two guards with a casual demeanor.
"I think he'll like what I have to offer."
The two exchanged a quick glance, and the man with the Italian accent shook his head.
"I'm sorry. Alfonzo isn't taking any visitors right now." The other man said.
Enzo rolled his eyes. He would love to just knock the two unconscious and hop over the fence, but he knew Alfonzo valued respect above all.
"Tell him I can get him to level 20 today."
"What the hell are you talking about, you piece of-" the non-Italian started to say but stopped after a firm hand rested on his shoulder.
"You talkin about Beast Evolution, right? You sure you can follow up on that promise?" The Italian asked, reaching into his pocket and retrieving a cigar, which he lit.
"Absolutely."
The Italian shrugged and gestured for Enzo to follow him. He let out a long whistle, and a few seconds later, the gate swung open.
The inside of Alfonzo's estate wasn't any different from what Enzo remembered.
The two had become close after Alfonzo's guild, the Mangano brothers, allied with the Pantheons of Damora guild.
He also knew Alfonzo particularly hated the Crimson Serpents, and knowing Alfonzo kept his word and put honor and respect above all made Enzo know he was the perfect first ally to his new guild.
A guild that would rival the heavens and shake the multiverse.
His guild would be called Void's Touch.
