Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: A busy day

After sending the announcement to a few sites, Viktor felt a little sense of anticipation; it was like his first year at the university in his last life; at that time, he was also anticipating who were his roommate.

It was already night, and his father returned home.

In the dining hall; today, Viktor enjoyed the lunch very much because the family of three's discussion turned around his movie and invention.

After a long discussion and good family time, Viktor started discussing with Lisandra online until he glanced at the clock and realized it was past midnight.

Tomorrow would be a busy day, and he needed to be well-rested so he sent a goodnight message to her and slept.

By the next morning, Viktor was up early like he used to but more energized by the previous night's planning. He quickly got ready, grabbed a light breakfast, and headed to his workshop.

Contrary to yesterday, he was planning to test his guitar skills before the writer sent by his father came.

Viktor has many songs from his previous life in his mind because of some melodies, you can never forget from the first time you heard them.

The reason why he didn't upload some songs on the internet was that he was planning to buy some professional music skills from the system after acquiring enough reputation points.

The journey started just like this, and Viktor played guitar for about 30 minutes; it wasn't bad.

He murmured: "It's not like I could become a master after not touching a guitar for some time, but still, my skills aren't up to my requirements."

Just after he commented on his skill and was preparing to continue, the door of his workshop was knocked.

'Let's continue later since it seems that the writer invited by father is here.', Viktor thought to himself since he was pretty sure his mother wouldn't bother him unless necessary.

As he expected, Viktor's mother called out, "Viktor, the writer your father mentioned is here."

"Okay, I'm coming."

Viktor took a deep breath and walked to the front door, ready to meet the person who would help bring his story to life.

As he opened the door, he saw his mother with a man who should be in his forties standing behind him.

The man extended his hands with a kind face and a confident demeanor.

"Hello, Mr. Viktor, I'm Marcus; when Mr Hugo called me and sent me a script outline;I must just say I was very impressed and asked him, and he said it was from his son."

"It seems that Mr. Viktor is as talented as Mr. Hugo; I'm honored to have a chance to work with you."

Emma also intervened: "Marcus is a rather successful writer because, at 37, he participated in five works that have more than $200 million at the box office and have a good reputation in the industry."

Viktor nodded to his mother after her introduction and replied politely: "Hello, Mr. Marcus, it's also a pleasure to meet you and thanks for the compliment, it's not easy to succeed in the entertainment industry as a writer, especially in an more young age like you, so your talent must one of the best."

After the polite greeting, they walked to Viktor's study, where he had all his notes and the script outline spread out on the desk.

Marcus glanced over the materials, nodding thoughtfully. 'It seems that my idea of seizing the opportunity is correct; it's better to have a good relationship with Viktor now than later when he inherits the company.'

That's right, when he received the script from Hugo, although it was good, he wasn't interested because he had been writing his script for three months now and didn't have other time for others' scripts but, when he learned it was for Viktor, the president's son.

He thought it was better to seize the opportunity to have some contact with Viktor because when Hugo retired, it must be Viktor who would inherit the company, especially as he heard Viktor was a genius who returned from London two days ago and had two PhD at eighteen.

Marcus said: "I've read the outline. You've got a compelling story here, and it's already very detailed, but just to correct some things like showing instead of telling for the director to better understand your intention, so, let's work together to make it even better."

Just like that, Viktor and Marcus spent the next few hours discussing the script, making adjustments, and refining the plot. Marcus's experience and insights proved invaluable, and Viktor could see the story looking more and more like his previous life.

It wasn't until around noon, they took a break.

Viktor checked his emails, found a message from Lisandra, replied to her, and then saw a few responses to his band announcement.

Some were enthusiastic about the project, like jokingly saying, 'Maybe we are witnessing the founding of a legendary rock band' although he doubted that it was mean to be sarcastic, while others had questions about the band's direction and objective and are interested in joining up.

He quickly replied to each message, arranging for everyone to send a demo and cover of the song to see their potential; he wasn't in a hurry, and the band things should go slowly but surely even though the idea of assembling a group of like-minded fellow music fanatic quickly is exciting.

After a little rest and having a good lunch, Viktor and Marcus continued working on the script. The work was already in the middle stage, and it wasn't until evening that they finished.

By the time they wrap up, they have finished discussing anything, and since the script has taken shape, Viktor can finish the rest by himself.

After a journey working together, they are already a little familiar, by the time Viktor walked Marcus to the door, he said: "Thank you, Marcus. Your help has been invaluable,"

Marcus replied with that kind smile like earlier in the morning: "You're welcome, Viktor. I'm looking forward to seeing this project come to life. Keep me updated on the progress."
