Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: The Script Outline

Viktor nodded; he needed to outline the story, as it was something from his previous life. He definitely couldn't remember all the details, but he still had a resume of the story.

As he set the table, he was thinking about the movie; this movie didn't have much box office success but won many academic awards; the budget wasn't much, only about $25 million.

Viktor will use this work as a stepping stone in the industry; the objective of this work is to win the academy praise so that in the future, when the competitors want to defame him, the academicians can't do much because they can't slap themselves in the face, right?

After breakfast, Victor's original plan was to be lazy for the journey, but now, he will spend the day drafting a more detailed outline for the script.

He sat at the desk he was used to when he was young, his mind recalling the plot of the movie.

Recalling the actors who played in the original, he described every character based on the one who played it; then he added their backstory, the different plot twists, and, of course, the key scene that added depth to the story.

Hours flew by just like this, though he had watched the original movie, it had been 18 years; if not for his super memory, he might not have remembered, but even now, he was only recalling bit by bit.

Just after he finished, his phone buzzed, attracting his attention. It was a message from the girl he had interacted with last night.

Viktor was a little surprised, he originally thought that this girl with adventurous spirit would choose the dream of many girls but it seems that she is thoughtful about her future, he replied:

Who doesn't know how to brag? And he wasn't completely bragging.

Then thinking that he would be an artist in the future, he continued:

The response was almost immediate.

Viktor thought about and understood although he habitually does his homework at night, some people would only do it just before they have to give it, even in class.

Viktor replied: At the same time, he is a little satisfied, a little like in those online games where you are slowly leveling and cultivating your character; it's the same here.

Since it was already time for dinner, he decided to first eat before sending the script to his father.

But just as he was preparing to go eat, his phone rang; it was from his father.

"Hey Viktor, how's the script coming along?" his father asked.

"Well, I just finished the outline, I will send it to you right away," Viktor replied.

His father replied with a tone of satisfaction and a little curiosity: "That's great, I'm looking forward to what my little genius did, don't worry about the rest, you can be with peace In mind, the script will only go according to your idea."

"Okay, I understand; I'll email it to you in a few minutes," Viktor promised.

After hanging up, Viktor quickly saved the outline on his laptop and attached the file to an email.

He took a deep breath because this was the first big step in his huge plan. Plus, if the movie worked like in his previous life, it would prove that the work in his past life could succeed as well here.

With the task completed, he headed downstairs to join his mother for dinner.

The dining room was filled with the comforting aroma of home-cooked food.

His mother was just serving the table; she didn't like using a maid since they are only three in the house, and she didn't have to work most of the time.

Viktor was really satisfied with this kind of daily life, with money and work to do according to your hobby, without that sense of urgency; the only thing that could enhance his life right now was to find a girlfriend because his body's impulses had been suppressed long enough.

Seeing Viktor coming, Emma smiled warmly at him. "You look tired, you are working hard, I was just going to call you to eat and have some pause."

Viktor also showed a smile: "No, I don't feel like working hard but more like doing my hobby. Also, I just finished outlining the script for the movie. I sent it to Dad, you can watch it after eating."

Emma was surprised to hear that Viktor had already outlined the script after all; some scripts even take years before having a clear outline.

She replied with a grin: "It seems that you already have the story in your head; okay, let's finish eating quickly."

"Well, you know I have always been confident and I'm sure it's going to be great." He said confidently. "After all, no one can refuse the charm of Viktor the Great.

Emma chuckled at Viktor's childish behavior, although he is calm most of the time, he can be childish when excited.
