Lola didn't know that Prescott was going to slap her until Max's right hand flew up and caught his father's own. He pushed the man away before he let out a scream and covered his ears. And slowly, like Lola and Ethan were getting used to seeing, he collapsed to the floor and his eyes glued up.
"Let's get out of here, Ethan. We don't have time!" Lola shrieked as they both carried Max outside, ignoring the president and his men.
"That was peculiar. I'm glad he was able to block Prescott. He would have hit you so hard and cunningly taken the boss." Ethan commended as they both settled in the car.
"That was easy and I don't feel good about it. I don't think Prescott is a man that is easily waved off. He must've planned something and since Max is weak. Don't you think so?" She tried to follow the conversation while she was freaking out.
