Sifeng remembered when he had fought Yeong in the school, the time when the scion of the Xianxu clan decided to summon his sword, Sifeng couldn't remember seeing any visible aura coming off his finger and the same could be said to Kim, he had seen her use the basic spells not just once or twice but still, her life force wasn't visible so what had made his own different.
"Although, I'm a bit surprised but I do have an idea of what it is. it seems you're one of those gem with a rare life energy. All the six Sects in the mortal realm have their different techniques that is used to cultivate their life energy, the Sect you belong to will determine the type of technique that will be use to activate your life energy and the type of energy that will be activated within your body.
Nobody knows how this work, there are different energy that resides within our body but only one of this energies can be activated as our life force and the type of technique used will determine which of these energy would be activated. For the Venom Sect which is our Sect, our technique help us activate a white but poisonous energy within our body, everyone in the Venom Sect will activate this energy but some clans have alter the technique giving it different outcome but still within the boundary of the Sect technique."
"Like our clan and some other clans, the technique have been altered to activate the same white poisonous energy but invisible, that's why my life force is invisible. Some clan will only alter the color, changing from white to silver, ashe color, gray and so on but it will still be as poisonous as the normal technique. The poisonous effect of our technique only affect other Sect.
There are some rare cases that without the alteration of the technique, different energy will be activated entirely, these are a very rare cases and I think you've fall under this rare case."
Sifeng stared at her and nodded.
"So do you mean I'm special."
"Yes, because we only know a little about the power of this people who activated different energy with the technique, and like I said before, this people are rare."
They continue their training, Kim gave the Life Whisperer formation a command by drawing different symbols withe her life force on the already lit up formation, Sifeng did the same and they move to the next spell which was the storage spell.
Kim showed him about three more spells before leaving him on his own to practice them by himself and also work on his speed, after doing the same for about two hours, repeating the spell formation all over again, he was tired as he got bored. Then they did a 30 minutes martial arts training to charge his body, and right after that, Kim bought out the other four books and explain their uses for him.
The first one is the Venom Sect technique book, this book contains information on how to activate his life force, how to make a connection with it and achieve the rank of a Cub, the information changes when getting to the rank of a Cub with new cultivation methods that will be used as a Cub, the same thing goes for other rank. The next book is that of a martial arts and battle styles from the Nara Clan. The third book holds all the symbols, text and shapes that made up a spell formation. The book is like a vocabulary, a collection of words used in a certain field and this field is the spell.
This book explain each characters and symbols in every spell known in the mortal realm, not only that but learning this book properly can also help in creating different spell entirely if the person is creative. It's just like English alphabets that can be used to create different words with meaning.
The last book talks about the world, Kim brought this along so Sifeng could learn more about this world when he got to the Academy.
After explaining everything to him, it was already evening so they decided to eat and rest, Kim had brought a device they used as a time in this world, so the two were about to keep the track of time and know when the night comes.
While Kim slept at night, Sifeng used the period to learn more about the spells and also focus on his cultivation, he had learn two spells successfully and have also increased his speed, Life Whisperer and the Storage spell are the only two he learned successfully without wasting time drawing them. Drawing midair with his life force was a lot easier for him because of how he could see his golden energy, he was able to know where to insert which symbol and not mess it up. He wonder how Kim was able to do it with her invisible life energy.
The only thing Sifeng did through the night before going to sleep was to learn more about the spell but he didn't learn from the spell book itself, he uses the book that contains the vocabularies of each character and symbols with their meaning.
The next day, Kim started the training teaching him how to wield a sword, the task was a hard one as Sifeng has never held a sword in his hand before, he only knew about boxing in his world and fighting with other weapons like baton, rod, iron, gun and so on. At first, he thought wielding a sword will be very simple for him as it's similar to fighting with a rod in his world and other long weapons, but after Kim had displayed a few basic moves for him and was asked to do the same, he realized how cumbersome of a task it is.
Before the start of the training, Kim had given him different weapons to choose from and also gave him a few display of them but after thinking long and hard, he had gone for sword and now he's starting to regret his decision.
Nevertheless, he did a great job repeating some of the moves she displayed, he was able to strike perfectly just as she has done it, his strike was powerful, agile, dangerous and more importantly, it was rough, violent and unrefined.
Kim looking at it him strike the training doll with the wooden sword repeatedly felt like Sifeng is a dangerous and easy opponent to face. Dangerous because his strike held much more power, he strikes with all his body going in with it, his strike is fierce and any successful hit on his opponent could deal a critical damage. But he's an easy opponent because his strikes are unrefined with no skills, although, his strikes are agile but not his body, once he go in for a strike, his body moves with it, giving it more power and that's why he's an easy opponent.
If he's fighting against a skilled opponent, they would easily avoid his attack and appear by his side or behind him to deal a fatal blow before he had the time to react, at least, that's what Kim would have done if she was fighting him.
