They have encountered this particular beast after fighting several hundred legs hounds, it's been a few hours since they both recover from their exhaustion and left the rock garden to hunt more beast, apart from this Kangaroo-like-beast, they have only encountered the same hundred legs hounds they fought the previous day, they have encounter about five different groups of those hundred legs hounds, after dealing with them yesterday, it was a lot easier for them today and they have killed a total of 65 of those dogs.

Happy for their achievement, they decided to move back to the rock garden to rest and end their hunt for the day, and that's how they encountered this kangaroo.
The bastard was sleeping right at the front of the tiny passage that led to the garden of rock, where their temporary shelter was located.
