Few weeks later after holidays
School resumed
They was a new Comer who was in lane's class
Vivien the new Comer and lane got close as friends together with Mary, lane's first friend
"Hey girls "
Vivien walked into the library where lane and Dylan where chit chatting
Lane laughing so hard
"Hey come join us(Smiling widely) "
Vivien went to join the two besties who were having fun
Few weeks later
"Umm lane what sup with you and Vivien , I've not been seeing you guys talking"
Mary asked.
Lane noticed that Vivien has stopped speaking with her for some days now for an unknown reason.
But she wanted to give it time before she approached her.
"(Rolling her eyes) well thank God you noticed, I also don't know what's wrong "
Lane answered
"Mm, we should approach her and ask some questions right? )
"Ohh yeah I guess we should "
Lane stood up and went to Vivien along side with Mary
"Hey vee you've not so far from us this days what sup "
Mary asked first
"Uhhhh, I've been busy studying remember our exams are fast approaching (avoiding eye contact)
Vivien answered
"Buh vee we also study, buh we still create time for each other)
Lane said
"Well I'm sorry buh I'm just too busy"
She stood up and left
Mary and lane who was dumbfounded were still standing there
Later they both agreed not to disturb Vivien anymore
If she didn't want to be friends with them anymore it's okay.
Earlier before that day
Their mathematics teacher sent for Vivien
"Good afternoon sir
Vivien greeted
"Umm sit down I wanted to talk to you about something "
Vivien sat down immediately
"Since you came to this school I've seen your performance on different subject and I'm not too proud of you especially in your mathematics, I want you to take your education more seriously and stop following friends that will only influence your life negatively "
Vivien was dumbfounded
"Listen Vivien what I'm trying to tell you is that the types of friends you follow are not the good ones.
Like lane she isn't serious with her studies so I'll advise to get closer to the serious ones so you can upgrade okay"
"Mmm, thank you sir I'll get more serious sir"
"You better do, you can go now"
Vivien left and made up her mind to stop speaking to her friends lane and Vivien
She wanted to get closer to other people because she also believes lane isn't the type of student she's supposed to be with
She felt like she wasn't serious with her studies.
