Few days after Dylan and lane ended things.
Dylan got so close to Mirabel,
Lane was so hurt and jealous because she knew that Mirabel have always liked him.
Lane stopped speaking with both Dylan and Chris, and she had to pick up her pieces and move on.
During their lesson period, they were having mathematics class.
"Who wants to solve this question"
Mr Kingsley asked the student
Student ***silent
"No one?, lane come out and solve this question"
Lane**lost
She wasn't even paying attention, and she wasn't also good at solving mathematics

She came out and just stood without doing anything.

Some days later Declan texted lane.
He was finally back.
"Wow finally I've missed you, what happened? "
Lane asked
"I missed you too dear, well it was due to some issues but it's been soughted out. How have you been doing?"
"Ohh, I'm fine"
"So how's your guy?"
Lane made a mention of Dylan before to Declan when he asked if she had anyone"
"Ughhh I don't have any guy"
"I don't get"
"Well he ended things"
"Why?"
"It's a long story"
"Cut it short dear, I'm listening"
"So.... his best friend asked him to end things because he didn't want us being together "
"Why"
"I actually don't know why, maybe he just doesn't like me"
"Wow... just like that, don't worry I know he'll come back"
"Come back? Nahh, he won't it's been months"

Declan and lane just continued chit chatting.
Some days later.
Lisa and lane were having a few conversations on the phone.
"Yoo Yoo, I hope my best friend is okay"
Lisa said

"I'm happy you're trying, don't worry about that Dylan of a guy, I'm sure someone better is coming your way okay"
"Mmm I pray so"
"Sure, guess what..."

"I think Declan likes you "
"(Amused) mmm how did you know"
"Well I know when my friend likes someone "
"Mmm wowww (laughing)

Both laughing
"No ma, of course you're right "
