Once Cynthia reached her room, she closed the doors behind her.
She excitedly opened the letter after sitting comfortably in a chair. She had never received a letter from Alistair in her past life, so she was completely surprised and happy. She couldn't wait to read what her brother had written to her.
Without further delay, she began reading.
[Dear Cynthia,
I apologize for leaving without being able to properly bid you farewell. I hope you aren't upset.
I miss you every day, and your absence creates a great emptiness in Eldoria. The weather is changing in the south, so I hope you are eating well to maintain good health.]
Cynthia paused, a soft chuckle escaping her lips.
"It seems he is being the worried older brother as always," she whispered before continuing.
