Clarence had been hesitant to bring up the subject, but since Chester chose to join him, he relaxed. "So, were you able to make some headway with Sloane?" It was a touchy subject, but it had to be inquired about; otherwise, Clarence knew that Chester wouldn't be able to advance.
"Yes," Chester confirmed. "We addressed some issues that we'd purposefully ignored." He frowned. "Do you know about the astral plane?"
Clarence nodded. "I do. Is that where you were able to go?" Now he understood why Chester looked like he might've cried and had a rough night. He probably hadn't gotten enough sleep if he'd been inside the astral plane with Sloane.
