Chapter 44 - Isolation

The light was bright. But this was not even the thing that fascinated Nevan the most about this room. What surprised and relieved him was the fact that this room was built differently.

The room was shaped like a trapeze. What surprised him, however, was something entirely different. The roof of this room as well as the leaned-in wall were a window. It was nighttime. The stars were completely visible even with naked eyes as this place was away from the light polution in the city.

The goal was in front of the leaned-in wall. It really was a perfect view. If it weren't for the lack of wind, he would have thought, it was more of a terrasse.

There was a screen, just like in any other room and hall here. He was not surprised. This was Mr. Tachibana's way to get in contact with the players who also served as his guinea pigs.
