Chapter 176 - Chapter 176 Zeke party iii

Asher was feeling strangely happy tonight. The earlier bad feeling that was creeping on him had vanished. Now, he was having a good time with Ezekiel at the party. Asher was pretty sure he hadn't heard much from Zeke, which made him conclude he was a man of few words, but tonight, Zeke was blabbering nonstop, making Asher smile. It wasn't bad to be happy—at least it was his day.

"Asher, you know I am now officially your roommate, which makes us closer than before," Zeke revealed.

Asher looked at Zeke, surprised. So now he was sharing a bed with Zeke? Because the last time he checked, there was only one bed in the dorm—a large bed for that matter.

"Zeke, I don't think that's appropriate. Staying on the same bed? Nooo." Asher reasoned, and this made Zeke grin.

"So you do think that I am sexually attractive, that staying with me will ruin you, isn't that your point?" Zeke's raw words made Asher turn completely red.

Asher faced the shameless guy, and for a moment, they were so close—so close that Asher could feel his lips just a meter apart. The tension, the look—it was all amplified by the DJ, who played a more romantic song, making Asher turn his face away from Zeke. Nooo, he couldn't make the mistake of kissing him—no way.

Ezekiel then hovered around Asher and whispered in his ear, "Running away from me, Asher? Can't handle a little sexiness?" Zeke asked while licking Asher's ear, which made him tremble slightly.

He was really being tormented, and it wasn't fair. Why did Zeke have such an effect on him?

"Hmm, I think I am too drunk, so mind giving me a moment, Zeke?" Asher asked, then used the opportunity to slip out of Zeke's presence, breathing hard. That was something, at least. He left with his dignity, knowing he didn't give in to those emotions urging him to do those diabolical things.

Coming to Jeremy, who was by the bar drowning several cups of alcohol, he grimaced. He could smell the stench of alcohol oozing out of Jeremy from afar. Normally, it was normal for parties like this to have alcohol, but this was too much.

"Jeremy, stop it. You have drunk enough. Let's go now," Asher moved to Jeremy worriedly.

Jeremy looked around the party at the people dancing like they had no care in the world. He just felt conflicted.

"Asher, I just feel like I am never good enough. Take a good look at me—because I am a scholarship student, no one wants to have any serious relationship with me. Rose, who just said she liked me, ran off as if I am a plague. Now I can't find her. Asher, why me? Why can't I be like the rest?" Jeremy began sobbing quietly, falling heavily onto the floor.

Asher quickly went to grab him. "Jeremy, don't say such things. Just because of some scholarship doesn't mean you're not wanted. Look, you're absolutely one of the most gorgeous guys here—besides Ezekiel, of course. The shameless guy is like a male mannequin, a definition of masculinity. And now, take a good look at yourself—you're gorgeous, Jeremy, absolutely gorgeous. And if Rose doesn't like you? Fuck that, because I am here for you. I will always have your back, mate."

Asher's emotional words made Jeremy calm. He held onto Asher's hands, and the two walked out of the club, staggering away.

Ezekiel was finally seated. He had his eyes peered at Asher and Jeremy, watching the two leave the party. Suddenly, he became bored of the party. He was enraged—how could they leave his party like that?

Standing up, he met the desperate bitch again—Nina Jackson—and her guts kept on pissing Zeke off to the wall.

"Zeke, my love, let's have a memorable experience tonight. Don't fret, I am here for you." Nina cat-walked to Zeke and began trailing her fingers over his naked chest. His abs were turning her on, and she began leaning in, but Zeke pushed her aside, making her stumble backward until she landed on a pile of drinks, this time pouring all over her dress, staining it so badly.

"Ezekiel, what is it? Why are you so invested in that crook, that Asher, the man whore? Or have you turned into a fag? Because after your dance tonight, I'm beginning to suspect you." Nina declared fearlessly.

Her words made the DJ stop his song, and all eyes turned to Ezekiel.

Ezekiel's eyes had turned red with anger and rage. At this point, he could smash a bottle on the girl's head, and nothing would happen.

"And so what, Nina? What does fucking a guy have to do with you? At least it's more enjoyable than your dry hole."

Zeke's savage remark made everyone gasp—that was loud.

Nina turned red with embarrassment. Guys around began giggling and throwing shades at her, calling her "dry pussy," and this made Nina mad. Then she walked straight to Zeke.

"A warning, darling—know that from today onwards, I don't just become your enemy but your worst nightmare. Any person that tries coming so close to you, that person is dying—definitely dying. And now, my men are definitely close to killing Asher, so say your final goodbye."

Nina's deadly words came as a whisper, heard only by Zeke.

Ezekiel froze. Asher... Nooo!

Then he ran to the door and pushed it open, rushing to the corridor, shouting Asher's name. There was darkness—only his echo could be heard.

"Oh nooo, it was forbidden to go to the school ground by 8 PM, and this party we were having was definitely breaking the school rules and regulations. And what if Asher was abducted?"

Zeke was confused and scared.

He was supposed to protect him. Now, what would he do?

He was now on alert, walking around quietly, looking for anything suspicious. Then he remembered Asher's dorm, so he ran all the way there, but on reaching the dormitory, it was wide open.

Then he saw a shadow creeping around, and he jumped in that direction.

"Show your face, you cowardly bastard!" Zeke demanded, enraged.

If anything happened to Asher, he would murder all of the perpetrators—including that useless teacher called Ares. How he hated that man.

Then a crashing noise got his attention, followed by a deafening scream.

Ezekiel rushed to the source and saw the glass window broken, and something had fallen off the window—no, someone.

Seeing the twisted image on the floor, he nearly had a seizure, but he rushed downstairs to check. To his dismay, it was Asher.

Asher was lying broken and hurt, his arm bent in an impossible angle, his head almost open, and huge amounts of blood were gushing out. And worse—beside him was Jeremy, who had been stabbed with a long blade that penetrated his abdomen. Jeremy was barely alive—at least he was, but Ezekiel was so wrong Jeremy was stabbed almost 14 times and he was hanging by a thread.

But Asher was long gone.

His eyes were frozen, his face as pale as death.

And in horror, Ezekiel let out a defeaning scream that pierced the sky
