( IVORY HIGH)
Meanwhile back at Ivory high Emily's head pounded as she slowly regained consciousness. She was met with darkness and an eerie silence. Groggily, she tried to remember how she ended up in this situation. The last thing she remembered was arguing with Hadrian, and then...nothing.
As her eyes adjusted to the darkness, she realized she was trapped in a fridge. Panic set in as she frantically searched for a way out. But the doors were stuck, and she was running out of air.
Just as she thought all hope was lost, Emily heard footsteps outside the fridge. The doors swung open, and Hadrain's worried face appeared.
"Emily, oh my god, I was so scared," Hadrain exclaimed, helping her out of the fridge.
Emily's legs wobbled as she took her first steps. "What...what happened?" she stammered.
Hadrain explained how he had found her unconscious in the fridge and suspected foul play. Emily's mind raced as she tried to piece together the events leading up to her confinement.
Meanwhile, at the Alexandria's estate, Mrs. Maxandra paced anxiously in her bedroom. She had received a disturbing premonition, a dream that left her shaken. Her children, Lamia and Lucinda were in danger.
In her dream, she saw a dark figure lurking in the shadows, watching her children. She tried to warn them, but her voice was muffled, and they couldn't hear her. The figure drew closer, its presence suffocating.
Mrs. Maxandra woke up with a start, her heart racing. She knew she had to act fast. She summoned her husband, Lucas, to her bedside.
"Lucas, I need you to go to the school," Mrs. Maxandra urged, her voice trembling. "I have a bad feeling. Something's going to happen."
Lucas, ever the calm and collected one, tried to reassure his wife. "I'll go, my love. But I'm sure everything will be fine."
But Mrs. Maxandra's grip on his arm tightened. "No, Lucas, you don't understand. I saw something terrible in my dream. Our children are in danger."
Lucas's expression turned serious. "I'll go, my love. I promise to keep them safe."
As Lucas prepared to leave, Mrs. Maxandra's anxiety grew. She couldn't shake off the feeling of impending doom.
Mrs. Maxandra eyes followed Lucas as he left the estate, her mind racing with worst-case scenarios. She tried to distract herself by busying herself with household chores, but her thoughts kept drifting back to her children.
Lamia, her son, was a bright and curious student, always eager to learn. But Mrs. Maxandra knew that her son curiosity could sometimes get him into trouble.
And then there was her daughter, Lucinda , who was more wild and vain, but very intelligent and smart . Mrs. Maxandra worried about her getting caught up in the wrong crowd.
As the day wore on, Mrs. Maxandra anxiety grew. She tried calling the school, but no one seemed to know anything about her children and worse still she can't keep off this feeling that a bad thing was happening in Ivory high. Frustrated and scared, she decided to wait for Lucas to return, hoping he would bring news of their children's safety.
Meanwhile, Emily was still trying to piece together the events leading up to her confinement in the fridge, her memory was hazy and she couldn't remember the perpetrator. Hadrain had taken her to a safe place, a small cafeteria in the students domain , where they could talk without being overheard due to the emptiness of the hall.
"I don't understand, Hadrain," Emily said, sipping a cup of coffee. "Why would someone do this to me, I know I might have a lot of enemies but why go to this extent and what were they trying to achieve by putting me in the fridge."
Hadrian's expression was grim. "I think it's connected to Abigail's plans. She's been acting strange lately, and I think she's getting desperate."
Emily's eyes narrowed. "I need to confront her."
Hadrain placed a hand on her arm. "Not yet, Emily. We need to gather more information first."
But Emily was resolute. She knew she had to face Abigail head-on if she wanted to uncover the truth.
Emily's determination only grew stronger as she thought about her confinement in the fridge. She was convinced that Abigail was behind it, and she was determined to expose her.
"Hadrain, I need to know more about Abigail's plans," Emily said, her eyes locked on his. "Can you help me?"
Hadrain hesitated, clearly unsure of how much to reveal. But Emily's persistence eventually won out.
"Okay, fine," Daniel said, sighing. "But you have to promise to be careful. Abigail is not someone to be trifled with."
Emily nodded eagerly. "I promise. Now tell me what you know."
Hadrain took a deep breath before launching into a detailed explanation of Abigail's plans, he explained how it seems the black dragons were preparing for a huge sacrifice and how they had been trying to track down Damian and his companions, he futher explain how desperate they are and they are willing to do anything to rise up to their full potential. Emily listened intently, her mind racing with the implications.
As they talked, Emily's phone buzzed with an incoming message. She glanced at the screen and frowned.
"What's wrong?" Daniel asked, noticing her expression.
"It's a message from an unknown number," Emily replied, her brow furrowed. "It says, 'Meet me in the old warehouse at midnight if you want to know the truth.'"
Hadrain's eyes widened in alarm. "Don't go, Emily. It's a trap."
But Emily was undeterred. She knew she had to take risks if she wanted to uncover the truth. But as if realizing something Emily narrowed her eyes suspiciously.
" Hadrain I remember telling you to choose between your group and me and you didn't say anything so why are you helping me Hadrain, Hadrain you're confusing me please do you love me as I do or is this just a kind gesture." Hadrain hesitated and he seems to be battling with something inside him.
" I am sorry Emily but we can't be together if my family got wind of this your head will end up as the menu, I have to keep you save remember to protect you from the cult practice." Emily could feel her tears threateningly to drop and then flashes of memory began to play on her head making her to scream it was excruciating painful.
" What's it Emily, Emily talk to me what's going on." Hadrain voice was beginning to sound confuse but when he attempted coming close Emily pushed him off.
" I think I know the person that attacked me, it's your psycho of a girlfriend Alexa that wench almost killed me but I won't allow it to happen again go on marry your heartthrob I am not surprise just don't you ever confuse me again with such gestures." Hadrain looked disappointed and he left with such an agony and pained look.
************
Meanwhile Slyvia was in an empty room waiting for Daniel he was supposed to be with her 20 minutes ago but he was wasting time, right now they needed to act fast and she was worried about Emily, she was so damned scared the thought of something terrible happening to Emily made a shiver ran down her spine. After 30 more minutes and Daniel wasn't showing up Slyvia left for class because they were supposed to have class in the next 10 minutes.
Getting to the class all eyes turned on her watching her like a hawk, then turning she sighted Abigail at the center of the class looking menacing what was she up to.
" You're late Slyvia and I don't tolerate lateness." Slyvia scoffed and went to her seat, " the last time I checked Abigail you aren't my queen or above me so I don't see why I got to explain myself to you."
Her words made the heads of the whole class turn as if she has uttered some kind of abomination, she became confused what was going on and what changed this wasn't happening before so why the sudden fear. Jordan who was beside Slyvia was giving her signs to keep quiet but she didn't notice it. Abigail approached threatening which such a deadly aura that people have to back out Slyvia hasn't failed to notice but something has changed in Abigail the way she moves and talk seems way bolder.
Abigail came forward and locked eyes with Slyvia and there came a whisper.
" We have your precious friend with us, I meant Daniel and I am not sure he will survive my father wrath he says he's the game player and I am just a puppet no he was nothing but a fool that lurks in the shadow thinking I am afraid of him." Abigail eyes gleamed with pure evil .
Slyvia began to tremble if Daniel doppelganger identify was traced then he was in more danger than she could ever imagined but what about Alexa why wasn't she attacking Abigail as usual what changed, as if reading her mind Abi spoke to her hearing only.
" Oh my sister, no sister isn't the appropriate word to use my bastard half sister she has calmed down because she has realized going against me will mean banishment from the black dragon and what do we do to those we banish we flare them alive and after the mutilation of their body part they will be burnt alive." Slyvia saw the evil glint in her eyes intensifying and the next word's got her attention.
" I believe you will do well to hear this announcement because it might do you good."
Abigail walked back to the front of the class and right then Hadrain entered but Emily wasn't with him she was in the school clinic receiving treatment for her head injury which the doctor said it was serious than it looked because she was bleeding internally.
Abigail seeing that everyone was tensed smiled it was more to her liking.
" Okay as I said earlier the school calendar has been shifted what I meant was the social calendar not the learning aspect infact everything is in new level because I am now the queen of Ivory high and the king here is no other than Hadrain." The class started clapping Slyvia could almost feel her jaw dropping the kings and queens competition and ranking when was the game conducted then it became dawn on her they didn't need students vote it was done by the school authorities oh no they were doomed.
" So now the academic landscapes has changed they will be distinction based on your family fortune that is the Elites the upper class will be an A student, the middle class C, Lower class D, and lastly the scholarship students will be F, so this will serve as your grade so be warned."
The class was like a graveyard, the silence was deafening no one expected it even Alexa and her minions were shocked beyond bones Hadrain who has taken his seat with Jayden couldn't hide his suprise, it was well known that there were few Elites in the class. Lamia and Lucinda Alexandria whose family were literally swimming in billions, then the Lockwood's Alexa and Abigail who the class recently came to realized was the original heir of the Lockwood then the Blackstone heir Hadrain and lastly the Clinton's sisters Dinah and Sofia except them the rest are either middle, lower or scholarship students and those in the bottom level were the worst because their grade were F.
Slyvia began to panic she was actually In middle class but her worry was Emily who received scholarship with the Alexandria family help and with what was is happening now in Ivory high she was in big trouble and then a shocking revelation came.
" Jayden you were accused of causing the attempt murder of Catherine Dobrev so you will be confined and if found guilty expelled." Hadrain eyes bulged how the hell did Abigail got wind of the information then it became obvious she has been monitoring them all along and Abigail eyes were directed to Slyvia who realized that everything they had talked about Abigail overheard them so Daniel was doomed no and the issue became worse as armed men came and grabbed Jayden. Jayden looked shaken and scared but he was carried away like a bag of potatoes with Hadrain attempting to go after him but Abi dead voice joilted him back.
" Don't bother he is the menu for the black dragon in this wedding feast organized for both you and Alexa."
