Daniel woke up to a huge splash of water in his face he was feeling drowsy and weak and his environment looks blurry he couldn't make out what was happening he was confused. Some minutes his eyes became clear and looking around he saw himself in a an ancient building that looked hunted and desolated.
Standing before him was Abigail looking grim with her formidable expression that looks sour and landing a thunderous slap at Daniel Cheecks he winced in pain, Daniel growled determined to attack but chains clasped his hands tightly into the wall.
" Isn't cute the so called game player in my trap I can celebrate all day." Abigail scornful face loomed over Daniel, Daniel didn't react to any of Abigail antics him being alive till now could only mean they needed him but what could the reason be.
" I want to leave this chain this instant and I may consider forgiving you Abi so let me go." Daniel tried reasoning with Abigail who began cackling in such an unnatural way that made Daniel skin crawl.
" Let you go, over my dead body will that happen, you think we won't find out especially your true identity, you don't know how rare it's to find a Doppelganger especially that of our wanted enemy so you will be needed to carry out an important task." Abigail eyes gleamed with great furiousity and enimity that Daniel doubted he will make it out alive, he realized his mistake underestimating Abigail ruining his entire plan now he was in grave danger.
" Don't even get high with yourself I am not doing any tasks so fuck you and the black dragons ." Then Daniel went on and spat on Abigail, feeling aggrevated Abigail landed three consecutive slaps on Daniel face that broke his lips and nose leading to a heavy bleeding.
" Before you say such a shit again remember you are my prisoner and slave so know your boundary and when to speak you son of a whore." Daniel fist hardened he felt enraged, how dare she insult his innocent mom but someone came over, it was his worst nightmare Peter Lockwood his number one enemy to kill.
" What's going on here." Peter Lockwood bass voice shook the building and seeing Daniel he narrowed his eyes questionable.
" Is he the doppelganger the look alike of Lamia." Abigail who felt proud of herself nodded expecting a shower of praise from her father but non came out only the venomous command of his cold voice.
" Prepare the facility it's time to reprogram his memories we must eliminate Damian Wayne Williams through him so carry him off." Peter left just as he came not glancing twice at Abigail then before he left the exit he spoke his last words .
" The wedding is the next day and the ceremony must be conducted so the victim will be sacrificed for the renewal of our ancestral power and magic so With the rise of the blood moon by 11:pm we will conduct the sacrifice." Peter sure that his message was conveyed left them and this got Daniel attention, it was Jayden he was going to be their source of power and what were they planning to do to him, Ivory high was doomed the only option was leaving the school permanently with his companions or friends if not the black dragon will wipe out everyone in the process of seeking for power and it was obvious magic was back. The magic the world thought was gone 500 years ago was back and it may consume them all if not careful.
" You hear my father take him away to the facility." Abigail venomous voice echoed, Daniel face became drained of color he tried fighting them off.
" Noo you monsters let me go I am warning you let me go unless your head will not last long, let me go." But Daniel effort was fruitless as they injected a substance which made him drowsy and he eventually collapsed and they carried his body to an underground facility used for special surgeries and amputation.

Meanwhile Emily was attended to by doctors who made sure the internal bleeding stopped, she was told to rest but Emily wasn't hearing any of it, she was having this feeling that darkness was about to befall Ivory high. Rising she left the ward and met face to face with Slyvia.
Slyvia hugged her Instantly, she was beginning to get scared, " where have you been Emily I have been looking for you like forever don't scare me like that again." Emily apologized Slyvia has turned to her sister, one which she never had but God compesented her with Sylvia whose love for Emily knew no bound.
" Jayden is in trouble infact we are in trouble, Abigail is now the queen and a new social order has been introduced Upper class A middle class B, lower class C, and scholarship students F." Slyvia narration made Emily shudder, she was a scholarship student now her mark will end up being F, her father would literally disown her if she comes home with such a shameful result what would become of her now.
Emily looked traumatized beyond measures, Slyvia words broke her, Slyvia rubbing off the tears that has begun to form in Emily eyes, the things happening was just too much not only she couldn't have Hadrain but her grades has begun falling.
" Don't despair Emily I believe we would win this war the stake are high and in other to leave this school in one piece we must fight together." Suddenly the news of the trending masquerade ball was announced, it was an excuse to celebrate Hadrain and Alexa wedding which was the next day, the masquerade ball was the time students dressed in esquisitive wears of those in the Medieval period it was always a glamorous celebration and it was the hidden marriage of Hadrain and Alexa.
" Are you going." Slyvia questioned Emily who's eyes was lost in distance, looking at the direction she saw Hadrain looking devastated, by Jordan detention probably trying to free him but the longing look in Emily face made her sad, " Don't worry you will find someone better don't cry again girl." Emily agreed maybe it was high time she tried forgetting Hadrain but can she do it.
SECRET PASSAGE
The door of the hidden secret passage opened and Lucas Alexandria made his way inside with dozens of guards who were ready to defend him incase of any mishap and the inner door opened leading to series of passage ways till the final one came to view. Two guards were at the front shielding him from any sudden attack and after many walks they finally came across the Sanctuary where the meeting was conducted. The dark throne stood at the center and long dinning table that stretches from far end was at the center.
Lucas eyes peered at his surroundings he has never entered the black dragon sanctuary and it was as formidable as they say, erupted around was status of their ancestors, the direct descendants of the black dragons the ones who they drew they powers from but Lucas doesn't believe in the black dragon powers to him it was just a tale told to scare people. The mark demarcating the statues was horrifying and demonic inside the circle was red candles, looking at the eerie sanctuary he felt a chill ran down his spine, sudden coldness biting his skin but a hardened voice joilted him at the terrible sight.
" Lucas Alexandria what a surprise to venture into our territory, are you that brave or plain stupid." Peter Lockwood came out looking intimidating, followed by Jonas Blackstone and other top ranking officials and they stopped at Lucas presence.
" What do I owe this visit I hope we are safe." Peter spoke in feigned ignorance and Lucas who saw the proud look in his enemy face felt angry but his top priority now was his children, his mistake was bringing them in such a school and now he was taking them back.
" I came for my children, and I want nothing to do with you just my babies." Lucas doesn't care if they rule over the school he just needed his babies.
" Oh really, if it's Lucinda you want her head is dangling in the sanctuary right now, why Lamia is on the run if caught I promise you unimaginable death upon him." Lucas could feel his world crashing down noo his babies but Jonas went to where Lucinda body was placed, her body has been badly desiccated, her head was now a trophy for the black dragons and this infuriated Lucas beyond measures.
" How dare you, how dare you do this to my daughter, we will never forget I promise you I will pay you back in hundreds folds , you think you're invincible watch and see." Lucas blood was literally boiling with unlimited rage .
Peter Mocking face resurfaced and he dropped a deadly bomb, " you are a big fool Lucas you had the chance to rule dominant the world but you threw that away because you didn't believe in our course and now your family legacy will end, your empire will fall and your generation will go into ashes ." Peter spoke threatening Lucas to do his worst.
" Guards, loyal guards of the Alexandria house don't watch this traitor talk to your family house that way, kill every last one of them." Lucas spoke bloodlust evident in his eyes but Peter didn't flinch and when the guards attacked Peter rose his hand and flame of fire decended upon the men burning them alive, their scream echoing in the sanctuary.
" Lucas you proved to me you're a fool greatest of all kind, coming to attack us in the house of our power where we are in our highest form all i can say is rip ." So the fire continue to spread and Lucas has to run with other guards who tried everything in their power to protect their leader.
Lucas regretted his actions immediately, he shouldn't have come to their hideout now he was in danger and before he could run further, large scorpions half the size of a human attacked the entire guards tearing them apart limbs to limbs till their remains were skeleton. Lucas looked around he was trapped with no escape root and the vicious creatures approached him slowly in circle ready to devour their new meal.....
