Audrey's thoughts overwhelmed her as she couldn't help but wonder how she met her lovely Godmother.
Flashback:
"Can I get a cup of creamy coffee", a voice spoke behind Audrey as she turned around to check who it was.
"Good Day ma'am", Audrey smiled at the customer who had requested the coffee.
" Yes ma'am", Audrey responded.
A silent pause emanated as the woman stared at Audrey a little bit longer, she was wearing a long black skirt with a vintage shirt. Though she looked a bit old, she wasn't that old. She looked like she was in her 40's.
As she was about to drop the coffee on the table that the lady settled on,
it splashed over her white vintage shirt. The tray fell to the floor as it made a ringing sound, drawing everyone's attention towards them.
Swiftly, Audrey picked a white napkin as she tried to clean the stain but it was useless.
"Holy crap, I'm so sorry ma'am", she muttered.
" It's okay." the lady responded as she looked at Audrey who stood there motionlessly.
That time she had just met Queen when she was preparing to enter a university.
Godmother was kind-hearted and indeed a blessing in disguise.

"AUDREY!" Rosa shouted again as she glared at her. Rosa was busy firing hot gazes right at her.
She knew what she was about to say, she was about to burst it all out.
"How was the meeting?" Audrey asked Rosa, whose face wasn't soft, not even one dime.
As she looked at her, she couldn't help but chuckle ....
"Rosa forgive me", she said teasingly while changing her face to that of a sad one. Rosa paused for a while as she observed her sincere apology.
"Ok then," Rosa said as walked towards the door.
"I have several things to do", she continued as she waved Audrey goodbye.
******************
A knock landed on the door, distracting her thoughts.
She slowly bowed her head as she massaged her temples trying to clear the thoughts that seemed to glue right at that moment.
"Ma'am…", Audrey heard a voice call her name as she slowly paused for a minute before continuing her sentence
"Yes Sophie" she looked up as she spotted her with documents in her hands. Sophia slowly dropped them as she was about to leave.
"Ma'am this is the report of last week's designs and sales. We made a lot of sales pending the contribution of ….."
Audrey slowly raised her hands in the air as Sophia stopped. She motioned her hands for Sophia to take her leave.
Sophia was about to open the door handle "I would like a cup of creamy coffee pls", Audrey said before Sophia left the office.
Audrey glanced at the piles of documents that stood motionlessly on her table. She had to complete them before today rushed out. Her gaze suddenly fell on the wall clock that faced her direction. It was 15 minutes past three yet she still hadn't completed anything.
She heaved a heavy sign bowing down her head.
******
Sometimes Sophia thought her boss was a total freak other times, she did be this friendly, and other times she was moody
Other times she was really cold. Most times it was her cold attitude she had seen. The rate at which she isolates herself. I doubt she had any friends. Maybe she never wanted anybody in her life
Maybe she just preferred to stay low.
I hadn't seen any guy close to her except her best friend Roslina.
Roslina was the opposite of Ms Audrey.
As Sophia's thoughts took over her she couldn't help but think about her boss's behaviour. She was just different.
Where Ms Roslina wanted to party off and forget her worries, Ms Audrey preferred to bury herself in work. That was the only way she did forget herself and the terrible world around her.
Ms. Roslina had friends. She was even joking about how the 6th boyfriend had abandoned and dropped her, yet she didn't seem to hurt a little dime.
She kept laughing off, saying he wasn't good for her and any other guy was coming for her. She was carefree and girly. She mostly had make-up on and that was for Ms Roslina, she was just totally free.
Ms. Audrey, despite being her p.a for over 3 years, the only friend she had was Roslina and sometimes she did call her Rosa. They were quite close and only goodness knew what they had in common.
They had nothing!
Nothing in common but the two seemed quite compatible.
**************
"I told you that your wedding is in a few months", Mr. Evan said as he raised his glasses to stare at his son who was standing right in front.
"What wedding, I don't even have a girlfriend," Miguel responded as he looked at his father. The only emotion on his face was that of the unknown. He had no girlfriend, no fiancee not to talk of a marriage.
Miguel scoffed as he watched his father who was still looking at him.
As Miguel was standing at the door wearing a black suit, the first 5 buttons of his shirt were set loose, his abs could be seen as the perfect shape of his muscular feature was out. He had a golden chain around his neck and a tattoo on the right side of his neck.
He held the suitcase as his gaze was fixed on nobody except Mr. Evans: his father.
"You have a fiance, what are you saying Miguel?" Mr. Evan questioned as he also looked confused. There was an awkward silence as the two kept staring at one another.
The door swung open and a figure walked in.
"Good day ma'am ", the maids greeted as she waved her hands in the air signalling she had heard them.
"There she is," Mr Evan said as he paused for a while observing the lady who was approaching them.
Miguel looked at his father as he turned backward to see the lady. It was no lie that she was beautiful.
Her feet were adorned with anklets, she wore light sneakers that were pink in colour as her baggy joggers revealed her slender figure, and her full plump dress was revealed in her explosive top.
"Hello", she said as it drifted Miguel back to reality. She slowly bowed down to greet Mr. Evan who had nothing but smiles plastered to his face.
Miguel seemed a little confused, as he looked at his father who was still smiling at him.
There was an awkward silence in the air as none of the 3 said a word. The lady who stood right at Miguel's front cleared her throat before she said.
"Hello Miguel", she slowly removed her dark sunglasses as she ran to hug him. That was Betty Miguel's childhood buddy, both Betty and Miguel had been childhood friends.
Betty's family relocated to England and left them there in Paris. She rested the whole of her body on Miguel which he didn't feel quite comfortable with.
He didn't want to say he wasn't, how would it sound after how many years of not seeing her?
Mr. Evans cleared his throat before he began to talk, "Betty would be staying here for a few weeks so Miguel pls keep her company..." Mr. Miguel paused for a while as Miguel furrowed his brow.
Oh yes! He had missed Betty but that wasn't like he would keep her company. He had a lot to do with his industry and there was a pending discussion with the new investors that were around.
As Miguel was about to take a step forward, Betty missed her step, and she was about to fall backward. Swiftly his hand grabbed her by her waist as it prevented her from falling.
"Things are getting more awkward", Miguel mumbled as he looked at Betty.
