Chereads / Surviving As an Idol with a System / Chapter 5 - Soft Rice Prince!

Chapter 5 - Soft Rice Prince!

Han Dori was embarrassed by the fact that he had to say such things as a soul who was a workaholic previously.

However, the original Han Dori was nothing but a piece of s*it! It's a truth he couldn't deny even if he wanted to.

Han Iseul was touched by his little brother's words, but he didn't show it outside.

"Then, let us sit down together. What are you guys waiting for?"

Han Iseul urged them to sit down by his side, and the two people became gentle and innocent ships who listened to his every command.

"Yes, hyung."

Since Han Dori and Meong- woo are always fighting with each other, it was Han Iseul's job to initiate a conversation between them.

After a peaceful breakfast for the first time in a while, everyone went back to their own rooms, getting ready to go out.

Han Dori made lunch boxes for everyone, and washed the dishes after breakfast. Iseul felt moved by his brother's maturity.

"Dori, you don't need to work, leave the hard things for me and study."

"It's alright, hyung. Just moving my body, nothing much." Han Dori's voice was now different, and had a soft expression too.

His looks were high class from the beginning, to seek the truth, he was pretty and a cute kid since birth.

Compared to him, Iseul also didn't stray aside thanks to the Genes they inherited from their parents.

However, puberty didn't let them be the way they should have been. After the death of their parents in a car accident, the siblings were left with nothing but a pile of debts.

Han Meong- woo at that time was just a child who recently started taking meals aside from breastfeeding.

It was Han Iseul who took the burden on his shoulders and started looking for jobs, he could barely make ends meet.

Han Dori took care of Meong- woo staying at home, while self- studying late at night.

Due to depression burdening his shoulder, Han Dori turned out to be like this, a rebellious guy.

Though Meong- woo didn't really hate her brother, she still hated it when Han Dori made up a ruckus in front of their elder brother.

Because she was afraid of losing another family member.

Considering all this, Meong- woo right now felt even more concerned at Han Dori's sudden change of behavior, it was as if the unusual calm before the storm.

Before going out, Han Iseul took his brother in a corner and tucked in a new and shiny note of hundred dollars into his hand.

"Keep it. Hyung can't do much for you, you can buy whatever you want with this. But make sure not to let Ori see it, okay?"

Ori was Meong- woo's nickname. But Han Dori felt touched as he stared to and fro, at the note than at his brother.

He did need this much money if he were to start his plan, but he thought that he might need to ask for the money from his brother.

Considering the things he did before, or to simply say after remembering his dark past, Han Dori doubted if Iseul would actually be willing to lend him money…

To think that he would be the one to give in first…

Oh, my hyung is a soft rice prince…

Han Dori became fed up with his own imagination as he nodded his head, after patting his shoulder, Han Iseul left with large steps so as not to arrive on his work late.

Han Dori will leave Han Meong- woo at her school and then he will leave for his destination. However, when he subconsciously offered his hand to the little chick in a polite manner, Han Meong- woo stared at him with a suspicious look.

After bidding goodbye to his suspicious sister, Han Dori finally breathed a sigh of relief as he started walking towards his own destination.

In the afternoon,

Han Dori finally came out of the school as he started to walk back towards the highway. His aim wasn't the stores on the side of the stores, rather it was roughly in a karaoke bar for now.

"It's more like a game window…" Han Dori muttered as he stared at the status screen hanging over his head.

Since Han Dori was a starter, at first, the System gave him a suggestion to start for the beginners.

However, when he saw which song it was, Han Dori finally understood the System was actually taking pleasure in mocking him.

"A nursery… rhyme?"

[It's the most suitable one for a toad like the host who likes to croak.]

"..."

After that, Han Dori didn't ask for suggestions from the system again.

Currently, Han Dori was singing the same song again and again till his vocals came to B+ grade.

"Isn't there something like a gift package that is distributed for the newbies in a game?" Han Dori wasn't exactly sure because he didn't play that much, but he saw his students and the kids who came to the hospital playing games.

Some of them even tried to make him learn, though he wasn't that bright in this aspect, he did learn some basics.

[Oh, about that… Apologize, Host! I totally forgot about the newbie gift package! Hope you can see it off! ^^]

'What?'

'Forgot?'

That's bullshit!

Han Dori clenched his fist to subdue his anger.

'Don't get angry, don't get angry…'

It's obvious that this bastard of a system didn't want to give him any privilege, he needs to be more careful about this system from now on.

'I can't put my trust into this thing entirely.'

It was too dangerous.

In an instance, a completely new screen window appeared before Han Dori, as he searched it carefully one by one, it was every basic help he could need.
