Chapter 1 - Reincarnation

"Agh!"

"Hmm… where am I?"

"What is this?"

The guy on the floor felt cold all over his body as soon as he woke up. He didn't expect to wake up in a dark room after falling asleep for a ten minute break.

'What is this? Did I get kidnapped?'

But it's nearly an impossible trait, since the place where he fell asleep was actually the floor of the hospital inside the operation theater.

He, Song Jin, was actually a doctor at one of the China's leading hospital. It's been thirty years since he started to work there as a doctor.

And he was now one of the most proficient surgeons in the entire country.

After getting tired of the same rich but home alone life, he decided to do something for himself.

And that led him to become a doctor, but he didn't really have any regrets. Along with a side gig of being a mega idol, life was fun like this, being able to meet with new people everyday with different life experiences.

Talking and sharing experience and wisdom with them, everything had a different meaning to itself.

He often had this hard schedule for surgery and participating in idol shows, so he often slept on the floor of the operation room and was used to this. Who would've thought he would die someday like this after falling asleep?

Anyway, this place didn't look like hell. But more like… a prison?

Song Jin jolted up as he sat up straight and looked sideways.

There is no doubt, it's indeed a prison cell.

But why was he here?

Perhaps the operation failed, and the patient's relatives threw the charge of killing people on his shoulder?

It may have been possible to be so, but his brain was telling something else.

The splitting headache he experienced was the most painful situation he had ever been in, and a surge of new memories were constantly rushing in his head.

He just bent his head down as he hid within his knees, waiting for the headache to stop.

After a few minutes, although the splitting headache was gone, there was still a hazy feeling as he felt dizzy and blurry.

'This is… someone else's memory?'

He felt as if he had gone crazy, but at the same time, that was not the case.

He was in his 50's at this moment, and after switching bodies with some young guy, now he was actually an aspiring idol in his 20's who yet to make a debut.

"..."

Does that even make sense?

He was a doctor for heaven's sake, how could it be that he woke up in an idol's body?

It was a bizarre situation no matter how he looked at it, at least for him.

Much less to say, this guy actually is practically a nobody in the entertainment industry!

Still practicing by himself because of insufficient funds, he didn't join any agency as a trainee yet.

But that's not what is important right now.

Because he needs to get out of this hell-like prison for the first time!

'What should I do now? What did he do again?'

Oh yeah, he made a mess in a bar after getting drunk and beat up some people there.

He often did this in frustration, but this is the first time he actually went to jail for this.

"Really… young stars these days are so wild!"

Song Jin sighed as he ruffled his hair back, just when the door to the cell opened and a fatty uniformed uncle walked inside.

'Who is he… a cop?'

"Come out and follow me, kid. Your brother came to get you, but think twice before you mess around like this ever again." The guy tweaked his eyes as he gazed at Song Jin upside down.

'What are you looking at? I'm not the same fella who caused a mess alright?'

Even so, Song Jin didn't find the courage to say anything back as he quietly nodded and followed the guy behind.

"Yes, yes, Sir. I'll look after my brother properly so that he won't get caught in a mess like this ever again." The guy said with a small and weak voice that didn't have any strong presence.

He had short black hair along with blue eyes that resembled pretty much to that of a tranquil sea, and a lean figure hidden within the long white coat.

Song Jin easily guessed who this person was as he brought back many memories in an instant, especially the moment when they had a fight with each other.

"Ah, Dori!" He stood up as soon as he saw the guy who walked inside the room with an officer walking at the front.

"Brother."

Although he felt pretty awkward after calling someone brother for the first time in a long time, the feeling wasn't as bad as he imagined.

To tell the truth, it was pretty refreshing!

Yeah, this person who stood up with an anxious face and called him out was none other than this body's brother.

And that makes him Song Jin's brother too.

And his name wasn't the same as before. Song Jin was now known as Han Dori.

"How are you feeling now? Do you feel like moving? Can you walk?" Han Iseul's concerned face and voice made him feel guilty for some reason.

"I'm alright, Hyung. I can walk pretty well." He gave a silly smile to his brother as he said while ruffling his hair.

"Let's go home, then." Han Iseul didn't ask anything about the incident or something like that which would make his brother feel awkward or feel bad.

Let's say, he is a surprisingly calm and cool person. He didn't tell this stupid brother off and let him free.

While taking care of the family by himself, working hard to earn money, right after their parents passed away after a sudden accident.

As the eldest son, Han Iseul worked hard as a chef to earn a living to feed the two siblings he had.
