Chapter 16 - No Worse Off

Sang Young? Sin Yoon hesitated and didn't answer the phone immediately. In the past, she would have answered his call immediately. But now, he hesitated for a moment.

"Hello?" Sin Yoon's voice was as ethereal as ever. Her control over her voice has reached a superb level. Even the emotions in her voice were perfectly placed.

"Are you been busy?" Atlas's voice was no different from before. "I've been calling you for a while now. Is everything okay?"

"Yea, everything's fine." His words made Sin Yoon feel helpless. "I just didn't hear the phone ringing."

"Oh, OK. Miss Sin, I have a new theme song for the new movie. The quality is no worse than that of Atlantis Princess. Would you like to consider it?"

Sin Yoon could hear the strong confidence in Atlas's tone. The confidence emanating from him was extremely fascinating.

"Send me the song, I'll take a look." Sin Yoon wanted to refuse, but she still agreed subconsciously. The reason was naturally simple. She was not an extremely sentimental person. She knew very well what she wanted to do, and she couldn't let her career be affected by these inexplicable emotions.

Since Sang Young dared to say that the quality was no less than that of Atlantis Princess, she believed in his judgment as the creator.

"I've sent it to your mailbox, please remember to take a look." Atlas was brief and to the point.

After exchanging a few more pleasantries with Sin Yoon, he hung up the phone. The movie was about to be released, so he had a lot to do.

Sin Yoon opened his mailbox and saw the files of two songs. "I Miss You" and "Unspoken Words".

She opened the file, read the song word by word, and hummed along with the music.

"When I look at the evening sunset

So much I miss you

On days where the wind feels so good

I… you you you you

When I hear a good song

So much I miss you

When I watch a good movie, I think of you

I… you you you you."

"…" Trying to sing along, Sin Yoon became emotional and stopped.

She could feel the helplessness and pain of missing someone in the song. The past was like smoke. The memories brought back by the evening sunset. Even the feeling of the wind on someone's face could ignite the thoughts of the missed ones.

Thinking of this, Sin Yoon seemed a little flustered. She picked up the teacup on the table and took a sip of water. Even though no one could see what she looked like at this moment of her drinking water, she covered her face and quietly wiped away a tear on her face.

Putting down the teacup, she looked at the lyrics and was actually a little dazed.

Atlas's songs are still so touching. Sin Yoon gave a bitter smile. When she sang Atlantis Princess before, she just thought that the song was touching enough to resonate with people, and it was a rare good song.

At that time, the song couldn't move her, but now, this song touched her. This was certainly not about whether the song was good or bad, but her state of mind had been changed without her realizing it.

Which line of lyrics made her cry? Sin Yoon had already forgotten. She just felt that the three words "I Miss You" seemed a bit eye-catching and heartbreaking.

Another five minutes passed, and she took a deep breath. She stood up from her chair and sent both songs to her assistant. She also sent a message to Atlas.

"The song is great, and I'll sing it. So, let's just stick with the old conditions."

Five million for a song, that's the old condition she mentioned.

Atlas took a break from his busy schedule and sent her a message of OK.

By the time she received the message. Sin Yoon had already boarded her car heading to the company.

Looking at the scenery outside the car window, she smiled, murmuring softly, as if she had made some kind of decision. "It's better not to miss it. I am Sin Yoon, and I am no worse than her."
