Chapter 17 - The Box Office Scores Are Coming In

Time flew past, and before they knew it, the premiere results for Han Suk's "Once Upon A Time" were out.

"His first day box office was 140 million. If he maintains this momentum, it shouldn't be difficult for the box office to break 1 billion, and maybe even break his own box office record." Chang Mi-Sun's voice was flat.

Even though her competitors' performance was very impressive, it did not cause her any concern.

Having personally witnessed the filming of "Only You" over this period of time, she had extremely strong confidence in the movie's performance. Even though "Once Upon A Time" had the first-mover advantage, it would not be difficult for "Only You" to catch up.

"The results are good, but I don't know what will happen next."

"Mhm." Atlas placed the phone on the table and answered casually, indicating that he was still busy editing the video. Only he, with a complete film in his mind, could finish editing most of the film in just two days.

"Thanks to the momentum of your previous hit film, the market for youth films is much wider now than before."

"I guess." Atlas did not comment on Chang Mi-Sun's words. "I've not been having time to watch movies recently due to our busy schedule, so please keep an eye on the box office for me. By the way, how is our publicity work going?"

"There's no problem with publicity. We can take advantage of Han Suk's box office success to get some popularity too." Chang Mi-Sun smiled slyly.

Han Suk loved to ride on the popularity, and they were not fools. Han Suk's box office was not that low compared to his previous ones by any means.

So they wanted to take advantage of the other party's popularity and regain the top spot.

"It will take around three days at most for the film to be ready. Please, remember to contact the theaters and the others in advance." Atlas gave a few final reminders and then hung up the phone.

Sin Yoon's opening and ending songs had been recorded and sent to him.

Chang Mi-Sun's publicity work was proceeding in an orderly manner. The floor advertisements, billboards, bus stops, and along subway lines, media releases, trending searches on Wave, and other promotions.

Whether online or offline, Chang Mi-Sun did not miss any opportunity. This was the advantage of having enough money. The film's publicity could be spread to all aspects and known by as many people as possible.

And at the same time, with both parties intentionally fueling the flames, the issue of the wager was brought up again, and the heat was unprecedented.

"The box office of "Once Upon A Time" on the first day was 140 million. It seems that Sang Young is going to lose this time..."

"He's still too young, and got carried away after making a successful movie."

"Haha, either way, I will never watch Han Suk's rubbish movie. I only look forward to Sang Young's movie!"

"Although Han Suk is not a good person, he is still good at making movies."

"The music in Once Upon A Time is also good, but unfortunately it is not as good as Sang Young's previous two songs. I am looking forward to Sang Young's new song."

"Is Sang Young's new song okay? Is he using the new song to promote the movie?"

"Sang Young's last movie only grossed over 70 million on the first day, but it was hyped up by the end of its opening weekend. This time, Han Suk beat Sang Young by twice as much. I don't understand how he's going to lose."

May 13th, the post-production of "Only You" was finally completed. Bright Light Studio announced the news through Wave media as soon as possible and set the release date for May 16th.

After doing all this, Atlas was completely knackered, but the film's matter had finally come to an end. All that's left now was to wait for it to be released and leave the result to the audience. Not much different from what was expected.

As soon as this news was announced, the entire entertainment industry was shaken to it's core.

The head-on confrontation between Sang Young and Han Suk two months ago was finally coming to an end.
