Chapter 12 - Chapter-12 Isolation Room

Chancellor Sebastian had just come out of the palace when he bumped into Morcelo.

"Fuck! Do you walk with your eyes close?!" Morcelo, who was obviously walking while daydreaming, shifted the blame on others without any guilt.

"Well, what can I do about it? My eyes have a mind of their own. They will shut on their own when facing an unsightly person." Sebastian was as sharp as ever, he slowly adjusted his glasses with a deliberate motion and looked at Morcelo with a gentle smile on his face.

"You! How dare you say I am ugly?!" Morcelo really couldn't believe someone would call him ugly, not like something new. Anyways he is still very confident about his looks.

"General Morcelo, it might be wise to have a doctor examine your hearing, as I never called you ugly. But that aside, being self-aware is certainly a valuable trait."

Morcelo was speechless, "This guy...! Ugh!! He's really getting on my nerves!! I'm definitely going to take him out today!!! No doubt about it!"

Morcelo put his hand on his sword hilt on his waist, planning to take it out. But it's a pity, he is still too young to win against Chancellor Sebastian, "Are you sure you want to receive a death penalty by murdering the Chancellor of the Empire?"

Morcelo was so pissed off that his dragon horns started turning red, "No matter what! I need to teach him a lesson today!!"

"Woah! You two are having a beef again..." Jaden, who had just walked in, couldn't help but comment when he saw their posture. Standing beside him was Sarkan, who also just came to the palace.

"It was him who started this!" Morcelo shamelessly pointed his finger at Sebastian.

"Do you think that sounds believable?"

Indeed, looking at his usual ruffian style and the sophisticated Chancellor, no one would believe that it was the latter who started the fight. Morcelo was well-aware of this fact, so he could only glare at Sebastian and leave while stomping his feet.

"Haha! I guess he's angry. I will go and check it out." Saying this Jaden shook his light curly hair and went behind Morcelo.

Sebastian silently looked at the leaving figures with his obsidian pupils, "Tsk! What an idiot."

Sarkan, who was standing beside him, also heard this. But instead of defending his brother, he nodded in agreement with Sebastian, "Indeed. "

....

"Huh? His majesty is going to the fifth training platform." Sebastian said while looking at the message that he received from the palace butler.

Sarkan, who barely showed any expression on his face, frowned after hearing this, "I see."

Knowing what he was planning to do, Sebastian did not forget to remind him, "Marshal Sarkan, if the situation gets serious, take his Majesty to the newly built Isolation room."

"Hm." Giving this short reply, Sarkan changed his direction and walked towards the fifth training platform.

Unlike other training platforms in the palace, where the royal guards usually train, this fifth training platform is slightly different. It is especially built for soldiers to vent their excess mental power when they have a mental power outburst.

In fact, when a person's mental pollution reaches a certain limit, as long as he can endure the torturous pain and is allowed to completely exhaust his mental power, he can actually be saved from self destruction or mental explosion. However, the higher the mental level, the more painful and difficult it will be for a person to achieve this result.

The Galactic Alliance has angels and elves to help them, but the Norex empire does not have such a help, so they have to endure it on their own in order to survive.

Just to keep the soldiers in control, a special stimulation platform has been established, where people can vent their energy as much as they want without hurting anyone.

As soon as Sarkan entered the fifth training platform, he was immediately oppressed by a huge mental fluctuation. A normal person may have already lost his breath under this destructive coercion. However, Sarkan was able to stand straight and walk inside steadily.

Different from the Ancient Royal Palace, the fifth platform was completely designed with futuristic elements. It was a pure expanse of white space with many floors. Each floor had at least hundred rooms with a specific number and an alphabetical symbol. At this moment, all the rooms were empty.

Sarkan approached a sleek lift and pressed the button to ascend to the highest chamber. In mere moments, he arrived at his assigned floor. This level was distinct, featuring only one solitary room. The door bore the inscription SSS.

The further he walked towards the room, the harder it become to walk. At some point, sweat began to drip from his forehead. Sarkan's face was extremely tense as he stood in front of the room.

Sarkan familiarly pressed a blue icon on the door, after which the system scanned his whole body. Once his identity was confirmed, a virtual screen appeared in front of him, on which he could monitor what was happening inside the room.

The room was stark and bare, containing only a plain bed, its walls as white as freshly fallen snow.

A person was laying on the bed with a white headgear, which was flashing a blue light from time to time, indicating that it was working steadily. Even though the eyes were also covered by the headgear, Sarkan still recognized that the person was the Emperor.

Though restrained by an array of devices, his regal presence remained unyielded. Even though the situation seemed peaceful, Sarkan did not feel relieved.

Just as he expected, within a few minutes the mental power coercion came like a surge. Sarkan's breathing also quickened due to the inclined pressure, but he did not dare to take his eyes off from the virtual screen.

Under his tense gaze, the binds that restrained Arwan were broken completely. However, instead of retreating, Sarkan tried his best to withstand the increasing pressure and tapped on the virtual screen as fast as possible.

Under Sarkan's series of operations on the screen, Arwan was bound by thick metal bindings and walls made of special material also slowly covered the whole room. As soon as these walls were erected inside the room, Sarkan obviously noticed that the mental pressure around him decreased sharply.

"Do you confirm to shift patient No.0 to the Mental suppression Isolation room?"

Hearing the robotic voice, Sarkan answered without hesitation, "Yes."
