Chapter 4 - Chapter-4 Second Young Master

The moment Fredrick spoke, silence enveloped the room, reminiscent of the reaction when Liam first made his entrance. It was as if the very air had thickened, charged with an unspoken tension that hung heavily over the gathering.

Liam sensed the strange atmosphere, "Imanuel... he seems to be the second young master of the Anderson family..."

He had heard about this young man from his friends, due to the uproar this young man had caused across the Alliance a few years back. Imanuel was not just a name; he was a phenomenon that had captivated the hearts and minds of many. This is how his friends described Imanuel.

An image of Imanuel had surged through the starnet like a relentless wave, captivating the attention of billions. That year, he was crowned the most stunning individual by the citizens of the Alliance, garnering an astonishing number of votes that eclipsed all previous records.

His photograph, a breathtaking portrayal of ethereal beauty, showcased features so perfect they seemed otherworldly. It was a moment that transcended mere aesthetics; it was an event that united people in awe and admiration.

However, due to privacy concerns and the overwhelming attention that followed, that image was swiftly removed within a week. The decision was met with outrage and disappointment, as fans clamored for a glimpse of the young man who had stolen their hearts.

However, to this day, no one has managed to dethrone him from his status as the number one beauty of the Galactic Alliance. He is considered a shimmering ideal that set the standard for beauty in a galaxy filled with diverse and extraordinary beings.

It was unfortunate that Liam never got to see that picture, but whispers of the young man's otherworldly beauty had reached his ears countless times. Friends would recount the details, describing Imanuel's striking features, the way his hair seemed to catch the light, and the magnetic aura that surrounded him.

"Wow! Brother Imanuel is finally coming back! I can barely contain my excitement to see my second brother again..."

Edan's enthusiasm was infectious. Liam, watching the scene unfold, felt an unusual tension in the atmosphere at the mention of that name.

Adrian, quietly concentrating on his food, lowered his head. Although his face was obscured, Liam noticed how his fingers turned white as he gripped the fork tightly. In contrast, the Anderson couple seemed largely unaffected by the news.

"Hmm..."

"So, when is he coming back?"

"He hasn't given me a specific date, but he should be back sometime this month."

Upon hearing his father's reply, Edan's face lit up with joy, and he continued to ask a few more questions before digging into his meal.

Throughout the entire experience, Liam felt like a transparent person, intentionally fading into the background as those around him chose to ignore his existence.

The following days in the Anderson household were dull for Liam. He rarely encountered any family members, and a domestic robot was assigned to take care of his daily needs.

Many might find his situation funny; here he was, a young heir from a wealthy family, yet lacking a personal human attendant. Nevertheless, Liam was satisfied with his circumstances, as they were a vast improvement over his previous life on another planet, where he survived on just enough nutrient solution to stave off hunger.

What made him feel strange, however, was the sudden choice of the Anderson family to bring him back, especially given their apparent lack of affection for him. He wasn't naive enough to believe they felt any remorse for his past.

In the days that followed, he tried to talk with the servants, hoping to find the real reason for his return, but they remained tight-lipped. Most of them treated him with disdain, responding to his questions with little more than indifference.

His growing sense of inferiority led him to withdraw from seeking their help.

He turned to the starnet for answers, but due to the Anderson family's political connections, any substantial information about them was kept confidential. Ultimately, Liam accepted that he could find no useful insights.

…..

On this particular day, Liam was lounging in his room, casually scrolling through the starnet to pass the time. Suddenly, the cold voice of the domestic robot interrupted the quiet, saying, "Master, there is someone at the door requesting your presence."

"Okay, I'll check who it is," he replied.

He got up from his bed and opened the door. A young male servant stood there, eagerly saying, "Young Master Liam, please come downstairs; Master is waiting for you."

Wearing his usual loose-fitting clothes, Liam's tall frame and strikingly youthful features made it hard to tell if he was an omega or an alpha.

The young servant, clearly inexperienced, felt a rush of warmth spread across his cheeks in the presence of this exceptionally attractive young man. Liam's green eyes sparkled with a softness reminiscent of a gentle breeze rustling through the trees.

"Alright."

The servant, momentarily entranced by Liam's striking features, eventually shook off his daze and guided him down the staircase. Liam was no stranger to the effect he had on people; such reactions were a daily occurrence back on his home planet.

When it came to looks, Liam was every bit as appealing as his so-called siblings, and can even be considered one of the best among the most handsome in the Galactic Alliance.

Most of the staff at Anderson Manor were trained to maintain their composure, but this young servant seemed to be an exception.

He was likely new to the manor, unable to conceal his awe at the sight of the remarkably handsome young master.

Upon reaching the bottom of the stairs, Liam noticed Fredrick occupying the head chair, while Adrian sat on a nearby sofa. Their expressions were serious, indicating they were deep in discussion about something of great significance.

Fredrick serves as one of the twelve Archons of the Star Alliance Authority, the governing body with the utmost authority in the Galactic Alliance. This significant position is a key reason why Liam felt he could not disrespect the Anderson family.

"Good morning, Father, Brother..."

Fredrick's expression darkened at Liam's interruption, yet he acknowledged him with a distant nod. Adrian response was no different from his father.

"Good morning. I assume you know why I called you downstairs."

"Yes, Father."

"Then let's not waste any more time. Adrian, take him to the Biotic Evaluation Center."

"Understood, Father."

Adrian rose from the sofa and exited first, with Liam following closely behind. As they stepped outside, Liam noticed a line of hovercars stationed in front of the Manor.

Unlike typical hovercars, these were military-grade vehicles crafted from specialized materials. Several military personnel clad in green uniforms were present, some approaching to guide them toward the hovercars.

Adrian took his place in the central hovercar, which was clearly distinct from the others, while Liam settled into the vehicle directly behind Adrian's.
