Chapter 2 - The goblin camp 1

Following behind the goblins they kept talking about their leader Lord Grom and how he was the 'most powerful'; and from what they described he seemed to be an elite hobgoblin warrior, and the only one that was above level twenty. There was a goblin druid that was also level close to the leader's level.

"So tell me how long have your camp been set up?" I asked

"Long before this goblin was born," goblin one who held a club responded

"How many other camps are there?"

"This goblin only knows of three nearby camps we have worked with to defend against humans," the second goblin who held a rusty dagger responded

"I see; take me to those camps first," I ordered

"No. we must not waste any time. You must meet the goblin lord now," goblin one said

(God damn these things are persistent) I sighed following behind

After another five minutes of walking, we reached the entrance of the cave and entered a forest.

"How much further until the camp?"

"Not long now savior please we must hurry," the goblin said increasing his speed

With that, we walked through the forest for another ten minutes before we saw a small smoke pillar in the distance.

"We have arrived Savior," the goblin said walking towards the pillar.

Arriving at goblin camp I was surprised by how developed it was. Even though goblins usually just live in huts scattered everywhere. But these goblins had wooden defense walls with archers at the top of them who were dressed in leather armor.

(These two are probably just fodder if they don't even have equipment) I thought looking at my guides

As we reached the wall the archer on post quickly yelled at the others in the camp.

"Prepare for battle a human has arrived at the camp!!!"

As the goblin yelled that I could hear the sound of goblins running around while my two guides tried talking to the archers.

"Wait this is the savior of legend," one of them said but was drowned out by the noise

A few moments later the door opened and a platoon of goblins holding iron swords a shields stood before me and a group of goblins wearing robes while holding staffs stood behind them.

(well I will give it to them that they are organized) I laughed seeing the army before me

"Oi, I will give you one chance to bring out your leader or I will kill you all," I said using Forbidden speech

"A human speaking in our language didn't the druid tell us about this," one of the goblin archers spoke

Not knowing what to do all the goblins stood there in surprise until a hobgoblin dressed in iron armor holding a spear walked before the group and stood before me.

Using appraisal on him I saw that he was level 15 and already had the Spearman class unlocked.

"Tell me human how can you speak our language?" the goblin spear man asked

"I was born with it; now are you going to throw all your lives away by asking questions," I said walking closer

Sighing the spearman spoke "Now, please follow me I do not wish to spill unnecessary blood,"

Clearing a path the goblin led me into the village which was cleaner and more organized than I expected.

As I walked through the village I could see the fear and anger in the goblin's eyes as they hid behind their windows. Arriving at the center of the village I was met by four goblins a Level 22 hobgoblin druid, a level 16 hobgoblin archer, a level 15 hobgoblin warrior, and finally a level 25 elite Hobgoblin Berserker.

"Tell me human can you truly speak our language?" the goblin lord asked

"Yes I can; now are we going to just stand here," I replied

"Watch your tone you are in the presence of royalty," the archer yelled

"Glor you should have killed this human," the warrior said clenching his sword

"Kill me; do you really think you can," I said as my shadow began to spread covering the whole ground in a black mist.

"I dare you to make a move and lose your life for nothing," I spoke in a cold tone

"Please stop Lord Savior; we have waited too long for you to arrive but this black mist confirms that it truly is you," the goblin druid said with a large smile.

"Uncle are you sure that this person is the savior the legend spoke of," the berserker asked in a calm tone

"Yes I have never been more sure of anything my lord," the druid replied

"...I see then please save us from the evil of humans lord savior," the berserker said kneeling to me.

[This goblin settlement cries for your help. Will you become the savior to the monster you hunted: Y/N]
