As I tried to figure out what the living lich race was the elder and Gorm walked into the temple each holding scrolls.
"My lord. this is everything you asked for," Grom said handing me the scrolls.
"Thank you, I replied standing up.
Walking over to a nearby table I opened the map and began looking at the surrounding area. Even though it was a crude map it showed nearby human villages and other goblin camps. From what the map depicted there were no nearby kingdoms but a few Earls that were a few day's journey, and when it came to other goblin camps there were two east and south of us each less than a day's journey.
(Nothing so far will cause too many problems but the Earldom of Pailenx should be scouted) I thought to myself
"How many adventures are in this area?" I asked
"Not many we only run into a few humans a month and most are travelers. I refuse my people to engage with humans to limit the risk of a raiding party," Grom replied
"Good, that will stay how it is. Do you have the list of soldiers?"
Handing me over another scroll I opened it and began looking over our combat power.
[x20 Warrior Lv.12-Lv.15: Leader Hobgoblin Warrior Glim Lv.16]
[x15 Archers Lv.11-Lv.15: leader Hobgoblin Archer Gloic Lv.15]
[x10 Druid Lv.12-Lv.16: Leader Hobgoblin Druid Grim Lv.22]
[x5 Spearman Lv.15-Lv.17: leader Hobgoblin Spearman Glor Lv.19]
"It seems like the spearmen are the most battle-hardened,"
"Yes. The spearmen go out to gather food the most and hunt the most creatures," Grom replied
"I see so other than them; you two are the strongest in the village?"
"The is right my lord," Elder Grim replied
"I see; this is much better than I thought. Now tell me how are our relations with the two other villages?"
"We do not really speak with them. When it's winter humans will hire adventures to gather fire food so they travel close to our camps. We keep in contact as good faith." Grim explained
"I see very well; for now we will worry about increasing our defensive and combat power. After that, we will make contact and offer them to join us,"
"Yes, my lord. Also, all the goblins who have yet to evolve are waiting outside," Elder Grim replied
"very well send the first one in," I ordered
As Grom and Elder Grim left the temple a goblin with dark green skin dressed like a farmer walked inside.
[Lv.12 Goblin]
[Ready for evolutions: Scanning...]
[Sutable Evolutions: Hobgoblin]
[Sutable Class: Tanker]
[Would you like to evolve: Y/N]
"What is your name?" I asked the goblin
"They call me Globta. May I ask the reason for this summon?" the goblin replied
"The reason why you are here is to evolve and gain your first class," I replied
Hearing that the goblin's eyes went wide for a second before he regained his composure and thanked me.
Pressing yes I felt a bit of my mana drain as my shadow extended and covered the goblin that stood before me. Slowly the goblin's shape began to change he grew much taller than any of the hobgoblins I met, and his body became more robust.
When the transformation stopped my shadow slowly revealed the goblin's new body. His shape no longer had a hunch. His skin was clear and no longer contained bumps. His nose and ear shrunk and he now had short black hair. The only thing that was very different about him was his now golden eyes. Also as my shadow left his body it left him with black clothing fit for a warrior.
"To think evolving could change my body this much. Thank you Lord savior I can never pay back what you have done for me," Globta said bowing to me
"All I ask is for you to help me realize my dream of making humans and monsters equals,"
"For your dream, I am willing to give my life," He said with a determined look.
"Good, now send in the next one," I replied placing a hand on his shoulder
After he left the tent another female goblin with lighter green skin walked inside. Just like before I received the same notification telling me there available evolution path which was hobgoblin and this time the class was archer.
As the day went on I continued to evolve all the goblins to hobgoblins though I had to take breaks because of the mana drain. Seeing all their available paths I was surprised that I did not see anyone else that received a different or unique class. They all were either warriors, archers, or druids. I had seen two spearmen but the rest were all support jobs like Blacksmiths, farmers, or crafters.
Well, that was the case until I reached the last goblin. She had sickly pale green skin and she had white strands in her black hair.
"Lord savior I know only those above level ten can evolve but please allow me to evolve. This is my last hope," she said barely holding her body up
Before I could shut her down she passed out and fell on the floor. Moving to her I held her in my arms as I used appraisal on her
[Lv.3 Goblin]
[Warning this goblin was born with the curse of Life drain: remaining time: 3 days: 7 hours: 35 minutes]
[Solution: Evolution to Blood Elf]
[Warning this goblin is too low-level to evolve]
[Solution: feed the goblin some of your blood]
[Avalible classes: Blood mage/Druid]
[Blood mage class is recommended
"To be born with such a curse,"
"I guess it is worth a try she is destined to die either if I don't," I said cutting my palm with a dagger
As my blood showed I was surprised to see that it was not red instead it was pitch black. Pushing the curiosity aside for now I dripped the blood into the goblin's mouth. After that, I activated the evolutions and watched as my shadow covered her body.
But unlike all the other evolutions my shadow went from black to a dark red and caused more mana to be drained. After consuming half of my mana the evolution finally ended. As my shadow returned to my body it exposed a young woman with pale green skin, pure white hair, and a well-developed body.
(No focus) I said shaking my head
As she slowly began to move and open her eyes I was surprised to see that they were blood-red. When her vision cleared she looked up at me and then looked down at her body.
Seeing the changes and the clothes she had knew that she was able to evolve and survive. With a bright smile, she hugged me tightly while thanking me.
"Thank you lord savior I would have been dead if it were not for you," she said with teary eyes.
"...Did I not say I would help you all rise to the top," I replied pattign her head.
