It was early in the morning which Elliot could tell by the time shown in the screen of jat.
Elliot was up earlier than that, staying on his blanket.
He couldn't sleep well because of what he saw last night and the eagerness to reveal the video to Apollo and claim his freedom and that disturbed his sleep.
He was watching the video he recorded seeing the dark forest with a figure with red eyes.
Elliot thought it was Poprifus but now he thinks something is wrong with this picture, the actions of the red-eyed figure seemed unnatural compared to the time he saw Poprifus in the beast forest, the cloaked figures at different times didn't seem to match.
The downside is that the video didn't prove that Poprifus was the spy but on the brightside may prove his innocence.
A sudden sound of the door jerked him back to reality and he closed his PUI and hid it quickly in his bag pack.
Poprifus was coming down the spiral steps and came infront of Elliot with a look that something was wrong.
" Where were you yesterday?" he asked.
" I was doing extra classes," replied Elliot.
" This school doesn't do extra classes, just clubs and the astronomy class at midnight," replied Poprifus with a distinct look holding the scribbled note Elliot left.
" It was like a private lesson kind of class with the mutations professor," said Elliot and stood up and started packing his books to his bag.
" That's not a reason to not be where your supposed to be," said Poprifus gruffly.
Elliot glanced at him " but Apollo says classes are exempted."
Poprifus thought and came with a conclusion " I may be busy now but I'll keep an eye on you, don't make it harder for me as you did for yourself, prepare and go to school," he said and went back upstairs.
That statement annoyed Elliot because he was the partial reason why he was in this mess.
When he left, Elliot took the PUI for a last look and kept it back in his bag and prepared for school.
During recreation before class.
Elliot was walking up to class block.
When he saw Oliver for a second when he shoved his shoulder with his intentionally.
" Can wait to see you at practice. Oh wait, you can't come," sneered Oliver and left.
Elliot looked back at him and sighed and continued walking to the principal's office with the PUI clutched in his arm.
He came to the door and made a quick knock.
At first, there was no reply, then Elliot was standing beside the principal's door and as he waited, he got looks from students passing by probably thinking he got inside trouble again.
Then he heard a voice saying "come in."
Elliot slowly opened the door and came in.
Apollo was sitting on his desk looking blankly and said calmly
" come, take a seat."
Elliot came and sat and started reluctantly.
" You said you will let me of the hook if i show you proof," said Elliot and Apollo nodded.
Elliot brought out his PUI and placed on his desk and Apollo watched the video with a concealed shock.
" How did you get this?" he asked.
" It was gotten from flying a drone to the beast forest. This shows that someone is using the forest to get around the school," explained Elliot.
Apollo looked at it for a while.
" How do you know the person was coming from the beast forest?" asked Apollo.
Elliot got lost at that question and said " lucky guess, the point is that is that I'm innocent."
Apollo looked at it for a while and asked " does anyone know about this?"
" No sir," Elliot lied.
" Good, nobody should know about this, it is serious thing that the school is handling. Don't try to involve yourself," said Apollo.
Elliot slowly nodded.
" My apologies for putting you in surveillance. Now i know you are innocent. You are now free to go and after school you will relocate to your dorm room," said Apollo.
'Wait, that's it?' Elliot thought thinking he deserved more than just getting off the hook.
He has finally released him from surveillance.
" Thank you sir," said Elliot.
" But let me get this information, it will really be helpful," said Apollo and put a flash drive in his PUI and loaded it in and he deleted the video.
Elliot looked at what he did reluctantly, took his PUI and wanted to leave.
" Heed to this, do not interfere in this case, tell no one of this and we'll be in good terms," said Apollo again.
Elliot got out of the door and left with joy but concealed it till he met Radley at the hallway.
" What's up?" said Radley and closed his locker.
" Guess what?" asked Elliot excitedly.
" What?" asked Radley curious.
" I'm free of surveillance," replied Elliot and Radley let his mouth agape in suprise.
" Wow that's great, how?" asked Radley.
Elliot smiled faded slightly " Apollo said i shouldn't tell anyone, he also deleted the evidence iny PUI."
" Oh, can you at least tell me what happened?" asked Radley.
" But Apollo-."
" Apollo is not here," persuaded Radley.
Elliot had a struggle of thought before he said " maybe later."
The bell rang and people were going to class.
"Okay then. Now you are free, will you still talk to Andromeda?" asked Radley.
" Hmm, i don't know yet I'll try," replied Elliot.
" Apollo was harsh in putting you on surveillance, you're still in beef though," said Radley.
Elliot frowned in alert "why?"
" Miss Donna is still breathing down our necks and if she hears that you're free..." said Radley with a concluding look.
Then Elliot spotted people walking quickly from a place before he saw Miss Donna coming with her cart.
"Run," said Elliot and dragged Radley by the hand to class.
The first class they had is chemique class.
Professor Richard was drawing on the white screen board a crystalized structure.
" Carbon has two allotropes, what are they?" asked Professor Richard.
A boy rose his hand.
" Yes Greg," he said and he stood up adjusting his glasses " Diamond and graphite," said Greg.
"Good," said Professor Richard and he sat.
Elliot was sitting at the back before Andromeda and Radley.
He saw when Radley whispered to her and she looked at him.
Elliot thought he told her the news.
"Allotropes are things that exists in various forms but have the same state. But there is one that has a missing link, it's neither an allotrope or a basic like coal but it's characteristics are similar.
It is very rare and only found as two percent in this planet's resources. It is called the blue moon gem," said Professor Richard and loaded the image in the screen board.
" This magnificent item is known for it's ability to release energy and light from itself when it recieves energy depending on the environment it's stays and it glows," said Professor Richard.
Elliot was smiling in thought thinking of the look in Oliver's face when he sees him coming to the field and how everybody will gradually get to know about it and everything will go back to normal.
The period was over later on and since it was a thursday, for the rest of the period before break were optional classes for those that signed up for art, language, further physics, programming etc.
In recreation, Elliot was putting his notes in his locker when he saw the jotter where he drew his drone sketches.
Now he has proven his innocence, he is now left with the mission of finding the heart which was a risky thing now if doing it may result to him getting punished.
' Nah, I'm not going back to surveillance again ' he thought and clesd his locker " Elliot," said a person beside him and he looked to see Andromeda and he stood upright quickly in suprise.
" Andromeda, what do you want?" asked Elliot.
Andromeda sighed " I'm so sorry for calling you a spy and things like that."
" I guess you must have heard the news from Radley," replied Elliot.
" Yes but that's not why i apologized. I wanted to do it earlier but I felt you will not listen to me. I was just mad when you told me I should get out of... I shouldn't have said that, that was--stupid," said Andromeda.
" Sorry I said that as well," said Elliot.
" So, things will go back to the way it was?" asked Andromeda.
" Yeah," replied Elliot.
"Um, I have to go now," he said and walked away.
It kind of felt new now things were back to normal but not entirely normal since Miss Donna is here to ruin it for him.
After school, the three came out talking and they were like
friends they were before.
They went for their clubs.
I'm the stadium, the players were practicing when they saw Elliot coming to the field.
They were suprised to see him especially Oliver.
The first years descended from their boards and came to him while Oliver stayed there.
" Are you supposed to be here?"
" Why are you here?"
They all asked simulateously.
" I'm free from the surveillance and I'm innocent," replied Elliot.
They welcomed him back warmly.
Elliot looked at Oliver who was cleaning his board not feeling happy he came back.
" Oliver, you miss me?" said Elliot aloud and Oliver ignored him and flew to the air but was certain he heard him.
Draxy came from behind him to meet him.
" Wow, never thought I'll see you again," said Draxy and patted him on the shoulder and his knees bent but he smiled back.
Robin came down and spotted Elliot and flew to him.
" You came back, just like you said," said Robin and Elliot chuckled.
"So, do you want a match?" asked Robin.
" Should we do it this time mixed?" asked Oliver aloud.
" Oh, okay that sounds like a good idea," said Robin " okay let's pick on teams everyone."
They all gathered and Robin and Lee had to choose and it turned out that Elliot and Oliver were in opposing teams.
" I'm the rammer," said Oliver and left without even looking at Elliot and he suspected trouble.
The bale was shot into the air and the players nearly collided each other and Elliot caught the bale at it's highest height.
Elliot has improved in flitsbale and he took the time to go to the post dodging everyone but he almost gets rammed by Oliver and he swayed off course as Lenard snatched the bale off him.
Elliot balanced himself to look at Oliver.
" Think you can get the glory to yourself, not this time," said Oliver.
They continued playing and the opposing team were scoring goals.
Every opportunity Elliot had to score, Oliver will ruin his chances and he always focused on him only.
Then, Elliot managed to get the bale and tried to get to get to post.
Oliver zoomed in about to ram Elliot but he swiftly dodged it and going a different route and Oliver followed him.
"Why are you focused on me?" asked Elliot but Oliver didn't answer.
Elliot zoomed passed the others and passed his teammates the bale but Oliver still followed him.
Elliot was running out off places to dodge Oliver and it reached an extent that Oliver stopped following him.
Elliot now forgot about him for a while until he flew up and he was focused on getting the bale from Lily when he heard a sound behind him and he felt his board move out of place, he was rammed by Oliver.
Elliot had a shock the movement he fell and when he looked at Oliver with victory on his face.
Elliot frowned and for a second he saw Oliver's board squash in the air.
Elliot fell down as well as Oliver to the grass side where their gravitational force reduced and they fell as light as a feather.
The game stopped immediately as some of them descended to the grass fields and came to meet them.
Oliver was shocked and somehow red-faced because of he rammed someone at the same time he fell and also suprised his board got squashed.
Elliot was shocked as well, did he just experience powers again? For a board cannot just squash on on its own.
The players were curious to what happened.
Oliver got his pinkie toe broken when the hoverboard squashed and he limped out of the stadium being assisted by Mein.
Robin when in search around the stadium for who was responsible for it and Draxy went to the anti-gravity generator to check for glitch spots.
Elliot was just standing there in thought that he just did something unusual in a long time.
In a while it felt like the practice was over and Elliot decided to go to class to do assignments.
Elliot went to class and saw the clinic where he saw Oliver limping to the clinic.
He went to the first class in the first block and the place was noticably empty.
He was typing notes in his PUI for about thirty minutes before he heard faint talking from the side of the class.
At first he decided to ignore it but his notes where do and he decided to know where the sound came from.
He came on top of a table in the back right corner of the class to a small window that was open.
Elliot peeked through the window and he saw Apollo talking with Wilder.
Elliot was a little shocked but watched keenly.
" I see that you have done your livestream in our school for about a week," said Apollo.
" Yes I suppose so, I'll really liked how it went, it was easy without getting attention from the students or other people," replied Wilder.
' Wow, he's done this without anyone knowing, impressive' Elliot thought because no one has ever seen him, maybe he has a talent of being invisible for if anyone found out it will spread like wildfire.
" Since you are done is there anything thing you've discovered in the school that is not known to us?" asked Apollo.
" I don't think so," replied Wilder after a thought.
" I heard in your latest scoop was dedicated to uncovering the hidden facts about the school's past and in one of them you mentioned a key," said Apollo.
" Yes I did," replied Wilder
" You said it was from an exclusive source, does it have to do with the school?" said Apollo.
Wilder sighed " this key is an artifact of the ministry."
" Then the box has a link that has to do with Cor Centuria, How come I don't know about it? I work in the ministry after all," said Apollo.
Wilder smiled " The box is from the ministry's exclusive source, it didn't have anything to with your school.
That's why it didn't require your knowing."
Apollo thought for a while " So what does it have to do with?"
" I don't know," replied Wilder.
" So why are you with it if you aren't working in the ministry?"
" I was assigned-"
" To present the key on your channel?"
" I don't think you understand, how do you think I can just use the key for my own personal game? The ministry has it's reasons for assigning the key to me at that time, something that only people at the high commission knows, it's a sophisticated kind of thing, you wouldn't understand," said Wilder and checked his watch.
"I have to go," said Wilder and left and Apollo went back to his office.
Elliot silently got down from the chair and went over to his PUI and searched on it.
He saw the video that the girl showed him one time.
The box looked remarkably like the box in the archives.
Elliot thought if Poprifus was using the gem in the box to find the heart, maybe the other box is another way to get to the heart, since Apollo couldn't have access to it even if he was working in the ministry, why will Poprifus in anyway have access?
With that thought Elliot got relieved knowing the heart was safe.
He went back to the dorm and waited till it was time for dinner before he came out.
He entered the dining hall to see it was more chatty than it usually is.
Elliot sat next to Radley.
" Elliot," said Radley.
" Where is Andromeda?" asked Elliot.
" She went somewhere but she's coming back," Radley replied.
The service bots were going to the kitchen to bring out the food while the staff were going to the table.
" Why is everyone a bit talkative today?" asked Elliot.
" They are waiting for the announcement," replied Radley keenly.
" What is-?" said Elliot was cut off by Radley's hush.
Then Apollo came to the podium and took the mick.
" Good evening all," said Apollo and the people responded.
" I just want to make a few announcements,some of them is what you all were waiting to hear.
Next week saturday is Halloween."
The murmurs increased in the hall.
" On friday, those who are resident in Unity city can go home after school while those who aren't have to order it or get it sent to them. Then on the Halloween day you will have it at the auditorium next to the stadium, so get ready," said Apollo and the murmur grew louder.
Apollo left the podium and left the hall.
" This is great," remarked Elliot.
" The best part is everyone will still go anyway, those who aren't residents of unity will do sleepover or crash in a place for that day," said Radley.
" You're not planning to do that are you?" asked Elliot.
" I don't know, no. I will just get my clothes sent," replied Radley when Andromeda came.
" Have you heard the news?" asked Elliot to Andromeda.
" Yeah i knew before you two," replied Andromeda and sat down besides, I'm doing the decorations as we speak."
" Okay that's good," replied Radley and turned to Elliot.
"So who are you planning on asking out?" whispered Radley.
" I don't know, what about you?" replied Elliot but he thought of asking the human girl out.
" I planning on asking out one girl named Avia in my club," replied Radley.
Andromeda stood up " I have to go, later," she said and left the hall.
Meanwhile, Apollo was walking to his office door and opened it.
He strode over to his table and sat on his seat.
He pulled a ceramic cat on the desk like a lever and his chair descended like an elevator to a dark secret room.
He turned on the light and in the room there were many tv screens that showed different parts of the school.
He went to the table where the head of the robot that got electrocuted had it's wires connected to a holographic computer which it's loading was completed.
He typed in play and it showed him a video of the last thing the robot saw.
At first person view, it was fixing a remote gadget and the vision distorted and fell on the ground and it saw Elliot coming to it to collecting the remote and destroy it " that will waste his time." and the video ended.
Apollo looked at it with a well hidden shock.
" This is new."

It had been a week since Apollo had made the announcement and nothing much happened since then.
Apollo hadn't addressed the students and was chill since then, not talking much.
Miss Donna and Poprifus was also chill since then and Elliot hadn't been bothered about the heart or even disturbed by the vision.
On Friday in the afternoon.
It was school over and Elliot was outside his classroom block when Radley came to meet him.
"Hey Radley, how was the vermoe test?"
" That test was brutal but at least I passed," replied Radley.
"Yeah, have you asked the girl out yet?" Asked Elliot.
"Yeah, I just got here," replied Radley.
" She accepted?" asked Elliot.
" Yeah, what about you?" asked Radley.
" Um, no. Most of everybody here are aliens and it doesn't seem right to me asking them out," replied Elliot earnestly.
Radley held his shoulder " in the real sense, you are the alien. So you wouldn't like to say this around other people, it will not sound right."
" Yeah your right," replied Elliot.
"I have got to go. I need to complete the notes I missed," Radley said and went back into class.
Elliot could spotted some older students already dragging their luggages to the gate.
Elliot turned and saw the human girl sitting on the step reading a book, he almost forgot about her and he hadn't seen her for a while.
'Just ask her out', he thought to himself,his body froze.
'How is this possibly scary? I dealt with a crazy red eyed cloaked figure for goodness sake' He thought to himself.
Elliot tried to walk to her.
As he got close to her, he wanted to move away at the last second from there but she looked up and their eyes met.
'Too late, do it now' he thought again.
"Um okay," she said. Elliot snapped out of it.
"Yeah, the dance is next week and I was wondering if you could be my date to the…dance,"Elliot said scratching his head.
He was glad he didn't stutter but made a lot of hand gestures which amused her.
"So smooth. Yeah, it's a date then," she replied smiling.
" Um, I never got to ask you your name," said Elliot.
The girl looked at him " my name is Elizabeth."
" Okay," replied Elliot.
"Alright, see you next weekend," she said as she stood up and left.
Elliot looked in thought and smiled.
Then a thought came to his head and his face faded a little.
He needed new clothes for the dance and the only person who can give him that was Zyaire, so he wanted to go to the Oliver tree urgently.
Elliot went to Oliver tree afterwards when the coast was clear.
"So you asked her out?" Zyaire asked.
"Yeah," said Elliot. He was lying down on the couch.
"Nice, what clothes do you plan on wearing?" asked Zyaire.
"I actually don't have any. That's why I came here in the first place," he replied.
"No…. I have sold most of my Aliqua feathers and it's not for a fair price. I told you Elliot, I don't want my cover blown and stop coming here often. It took months before I found this place. What's going to happen if Radley finds out you're gone?" Zyaire asked.
"I will tell him I slept off while reading at the library," Elliot said and Zyaire rolled his eyes.
Elliot jumped and held Zyaire's arms.
"Please, this is my moment," pleaded Elliot.
" What's is there. It's just a date" replied Zyaire and Elliot gave him a distinct look and Zyaire thought.
"Okay I will, on one condition…This place is losing power, we need to fix the stronghold," said Zyaire.
" What's a stronghold?" asked Elliot.
"I'll tell you on the way," replied Zyaire as they went up the stairs to the roof.
They were on top of the roof and they were to fix a complicated looking stand with a square glass on top, infront of them.
"What am I looking at?" asked Elliot.
"It's a stronghold. A vermoe ability to transfer power from the original source to the other by a transfer object. If destroyed, the other source will lose power or explode and this your looking at is the transfer object," said Zyaire.
"So it's like bluetooth but with energy," said Elliot. "it's not bluetooth," replied Zyaire.
"Really?" said Elliot in disbelief.
"No, it's not," said Zyaire sharply "you should really learn this someday it could be important."
"Yeah yeah yeah, let's get started," said Elliot keenly, hoping for this to be over.
It took them hours to fix and Elliot was tired.
" Okay we are done, can we go now?" asked Elliot exhausted.
"Okay, a deal is a deal, we'll go to gremworld but first we need some rest," said Zyaire.
Elliot was disappointed at first but saw it was necessary.
After the work they went to the living room and Zyaire made him mars tomato sauce and let him watch the thin screen tv he bought newly saying it will make him to catch up on all the movies his classmates talked about.
In the night. Zyaire flew him out of the beast forest to a hidden place where Zyaire had to shapeshift into a humanoid before they came out to take a bus to Gremworld.
Zyaire and Elliot were infront of Gremworld entrance and was walking inside it.
They went to the clothing section.
"I want this, wait this,this one is better," said Elliot scrolling through the nice outfits, those that shone in the dark, those that move, those that can fix into you when you touch them as a liquid which was the one that Elliot liked best.
"Calm down, we need to get raymonds first and also teach you the fashion sense of this world," said Zyaire.
Elliot dropped the clothes and came to Zyaire " Where are we going to get raymonds?"
" I most likely to know the place," replied Zyaire.
They were going to a section of the mall on the fourth floor. The place gradually looked dark and shady.
"Where are we going?" Asked Elliot.
"The dark market. This place ain't safe, just pretend you are a short adult human so not to create a scene," replied Zyaire.
The dark market had many weird things for sale and the place was really dark, just dimly lit.
" Is this place legal?" asked Elliot in allow tone.
" Hmm, not exactly," replied Zyaire and they unknownly changed route.
As Elliot walked, he saw many things like gold antiques, taxidermy mutants in cages, and old technology worth millions in terms of time.
Elliot was walking when he saw the head of the Rabtaccel on a platform. Elliot was shocked. So this was what they did to an almost extinct specie and to Elliot, he saw this as cruel.
He came toward the head, about to touch it when a torchlight shone on Elliot's face.
"What are you doing in a place like this little boy?" said a voice behind the torchlight.
" I'm eighteen years old," muttered Elliot, shading the light from his eyes.
" And you're like this? Unbelievable," said the voice unconvinced.
Just then, Zyaire stepped in
"Sorry, pardon my ward."
" What are you doing bringing a boy that claims to be an adult to a place like this?" asked the voice gruffly.
Zyaire held Elliot close to him.
" Sorry he had to follow me not to wander around in a big mall like this, you know kids this days. Anyway, I wanted to trade this Aliqua feather for a hundred Raymonds," said Zyaire and dropped the feather on the table.
The man with the voice turned out to be an alien who kept the torch and revealed himself.
He looked at it "oh my…here it is, all yours," he put a hand full of hexagon gold coins in a sack, brought out some other sacs and gave it to Zyaire.
Zyaire took them and they started to walk out.
"Let's get out of here," said Zyaire.
"Yeah, that place was creepy," said Elliot and they paced their steps.
They went to get his clothes for the Halloween dance.
The next night.
It was the night of Halloween.
Students were coming from the gate to the auditorium in their drip.
The teachers were conductors of the Halloween dance.
Professor Delarouge was infront of the auditorium welcoming the students.
The music coming from the auditorium sent vibes everywhere.
In the building, Draxy is the DJ hanging on the ceiling doing his dj stuff.
Students were trooping in and the music was giving the coolest vibes.
Elliot was dressed in tux with a vampire cape looking dapper.
He was coming to the auditorium with a thrilled face.
" Tu as l'air bien human , whoever got you this has good taste," complimented Professor Delarouge.
" Thanks," replied Elliot not quite understanding what she said.
He went inside and saw the rest of the students having a good time, some on the dance floor and some chatting away happily.
He saw Radley with his date on the dance floor and smiled.
He went over to a table and sat down.
He was waiting for Elizabeth who hadn't been seen around yet.
He was waiting when Andromeda came to him "ah! you came," she was wearing a beautiful black dress and carrying a basket full of black petals.
"what theme is that?" Elliot asked. "A flower girl in the cemetery from the series nevermore…death…melancholy," she replied humorously.
They both chuckled.
" I really need to watch that," said Elliot.
"So,where is your date?" Andromeda asked.
"She hasn't come yet," Elliot replied.
"What about yours?" he asked.
"I'm in charge of decorations I don't have one but I'm in the VIP so who needs one?" she said and the dj changed to a other music.
"Well,I am going to the
VIP section," She said happily and left.
Elliot heard the sound of the mic and the music stopped.
He saw Robin holding the mick under Draxy.
"Attention please.
If you are outside come in."
People started coming inside.
" It turns out that wraiths are flying past our school, so do good to be inside at all times, the authorities will make sure they don't enter into the premises, make sure you don't come out of the building. Do not panic, this will blow over soon," said Robin and left.
The crowd bursted into murmurs, they could see what was happening from the auditorium tv, a place that looked like the white house on fire and rag like flying things were trooping to the ministry and causing harm and even the police found it hard to stop them, under it was labelled 'wraiths attack the ministry'. The music went back on and the event wiped out of people's minds.
'Oh no!' thought Elliot.
Just then he saw Elizabeth by the entrance when something spoke in his mind ' it's time' and with that phrase he knew what it meant, he had to save them but he saw Elizabeth but she didn't see him and leaving here or not will have a problem.
Elliot weighed between the options of approaching her or helping to save the ministry.
He could see everything on the flatscreen TV.
The police couldn't stand a chance and there were many of them.
Elliot thought what he had to do to be a hero.
He left without being seen. He ran to the boys bathroom in the auditorium, closed the door behind him and focused. 'The time has come, you can do this' he thought to himself and he calmed down.
Through the windows of the bathroom shone light getting brighter and brighter.
Elliot slowly transformed, it was astounding, something black was going all over him coming with blue and he rose up in the air.
He was in a futuristic metal black outfit with blue designs, the tip of his hairs were snow white and his eyes were glowing blue. He had a gold atom on his chest.
He was moved to say something and realized his voice was changed too.
"Whoa! My voice sounds different," said Elliot. His voice sounded doubled.
"I can fly too," as he was hovering above the ground "this is amazing."
Elliot wanted to fly and stopped " I need a hero name." Elliot thought
"I might just name myself… Super-no,Comet... Cometwave? Worth a shot," said Elliot as he flew out the window.
Meanwhile, hundreds of wraiths were entering the ministry and the ministry was on fire.
Cometwave flew like a comet down to the entrance.
A wraith was about to attack a woman running for her life but Cometwave shoved the ragged phantom to the ground and punched it and it poofed.
"Run," he said to the woman and she ran.
A wraith ran past Cometwave and he chased it with speed to the ministry.
The place was grand with aiding pillars and constructions made of gold and some with gems.
Cometwave entered the ministry, he saw civilians running for their dear lives and he aided them.
The fire was consuming dearly.
When everybody was out of the ministry.
A wraith gibbered passed Cometwave, looked at him and spat at him, Cometwave dogged and it hit the curtain instead and it caught on fire."yikes!" exclaimed Cometwave.
He flew to a wraith and punched it and it poofed.
Wraiths started attacking him and easily fought them and they poofed.
A wraith spat on his back, Cometwave gritted his teeth and his eyes shone blue and he blasted it to smoke with his laser eyes.
" That's new," said Cometwave.
He noticed that the wraiths were following a particular direction, to the ceiling which was as high as a tall building.
Cometwave followed it through many rooms and through some small spaces to an underground storage room.
Inside, they were entering a painting a hole was impaled on.
Cometwave tried to pass through but he couldn't, he was too big for it.
Then he tried to open it like a door and he used all his strength to open it through to some extent he could enter.
Inside was a big room containing large volume of documents and the wraiths were scattering everything. Cometwave didn't know what to do until he saw someone in a pile of rubble, and he looked closer, it was Hilarius Wilder.
Cometwave frowned with his mouth agape, flew to him and removed the huge rubbles and supported him to stand but his left foot cracked.
Wilder growled in pain, Cometwave winced.
"Don't worry, I'm going to get you out of here," said Cometwave.
"Wait," said Wilder weakly and he brought an orb from his pocket.
"Turn it on and it will kill the wraiths." Cometwave took it and kept him one side.
Cometwave was about to turn it on when the wraiths started attacking him.
He punched one and kicked another but they came in their numbers and he let the orb go. It bounced off to a corner. He yelled and laser came out of his eyes and burned them to flames.
He searched for the orb until he found it and didn't know to do with it.
" Rub it!" yelled Wilder weakly.
Cometwave rubbed and it started to emit very bright rays of light.
Wilder covered his eyes, all the wraiths caught by the light vaporized.
The rest fled from the ministry.
When the wraiths were done, he flew to the ground exhausted.
He turned to Wilder " what were you doing here?" he asked.
" The wraiths took hold of me and brought me here and when I was here, a pile of rubble fell on me," replied Wilder in pain as he felt his broken leg.
" We need to get out of here," said Cometwave and carried Wilder and he groaned in pain as carried Wilder out of the house to the entrance of the ministry away from the burning building and kept him on the ground.
" The ambulance will come here soon," he said and wanted to leave but Wilder held his hand.
" Thanks for saving my life, who are you?" asked Wilder.
" Um, someone chosen," he said and flew away before the firefighters and the ambulance came to the place.
Cometwave flew back to Cor Centuria.
He changed back into Elliot in a hidden place and ran to the auditorium but by then, the party was over.
People were coming out of the auditorium and passing Elliot.
' no no no' he ran to the auditorium
and saw Elizabeth in their midst, she wasn't looking in a good mood. Elliot ran to her "Elizabeth".
She looked to see who it was and saw it was Elliot, she frowned and continued going her way.
"Elizabeth I…"
"I really can believe you ditched me on this dance," she said without stopping.
" Elizabeth I'm sorry for--" said Elliot but was cut off by Elizabeth who stopped to look at him.
" Just to know, there were people who asked me to the dance but I rejected but seeing you asking me out I decided to have a change of heart, to be part of a dance for the first time," said Elizabeth, her voice fell on the last few words.
"It was an emergency," he muttered.
"What emergency? Andromeda said you were around and suddenly disappeared. Where were you?" she asked.
Elliot paused "I can't say,
I am sorry."
" Guess it was stupid of me to accept, goodbye Elliot," Elizabeth stormed off without uttering a word.
Elliot felt so bad with himself that he somehow wished he stayed.
For the next few days, news spread like wildfire of a flying superpowered vigilante saving Wilder from the ministry and there was a mere photo taken of him flying in the sky.
Students talked about him often asking.
" Who is that?"
" Is having superpowers finally possible?"
Elliot was aware of those things but it did not thrill him like he expected it to.
Ever since that day, Elizabeth always avoided him, didn't talk to him and it saddened him.
She was one of the the only persons who talked to him when no one else could during the surveillance and he thought after the surveillance they will end up being good friends.
He didn't like to admit it but she was the first person he really liked, like have a crush, right from the first day of use of vermoe class but since it was over, he didn't even care anymore to uncover the secrets of the heart especially now he has powers.
He thinks it going to be safe at the ministry which was under reconstruction but wasn't sure why the wraiths attacked the ministry.
For the next few weeks, Elliot, Radley and Andromeda became good friends and he finally sent a letter to his parents but never got a reply.
It was the end of term, students were preparing for departure and it was official that the constellation x were having a match on December 17th after Elliot's birthday.
On the day of departure, planetary exchange students were to stay back for the christmas holidays.
In the morning, around eight. Elliot and Radley were in their room.
Radley was bringing out a box from under his bed and keeping it infront of Elliot.
"I got these items some weeks ago but they didn't arrive as scheduled. There are snacks and comics and since you won't be going home for Christmas, I am giving them to you as birthday gifts and Christmas presents in advance. Happy birthday Elliot," Radley chuckled and brought out a box.
" Thanks it, really means a lot," replied Elliot feeling grateful.
" You could've come and stayed with me for the holidays but I'm living in Atlantis," said Radley.
" Wait you are?" said Elliot in shock.
" Yeah," replied Radley pointing at the gills on his neck.
" Andromeda sent you a present too, check your PUI," said Radley and Elliot stood up and came over to his desk and opened his PUI to see that Andromeda has sent him a load of movies, series and anime including nevermore series.
" That's to keep you entertained in winter and you'll catch up on the film gist," Radley smiled.
" Where's Andromeda?" Elliot asked.
"She's already gone," replied Radley.
"Oh, will you be there in the match,I am playing?" Elliot asked.
"Sadly no, Atlantis is a far place to just come and go but I know a way to communicate with you while I am gone," Radley threw him a turtle com.
"We can text each other with emojis. I also gave one to Andromeda so she can do same but it's kind a cheezy child's toy," Radley said.
"Let's check it out," Radley said as he bent over to search the box.
"Snacks, comic books, toothbrush?" remarked Radley and threw it away.
" Wow, candy. My brother sent me these, surprise gum, you know it?"
Elliot shook his head.
" This is a vermoe made chewing gum that gives you powers but wears off as the taste of the gum wear off, about ten seconds, mind if I try first?" Radley picked a gum and tossed it in his mouth " this kinda taste like soa-" he lost his voice and a soap bubble came out of his mouth and popped " soap," it sounded.
"Whoa," exclaimed Elliot.
Another bigger bubble came out and popped.
"Alalalalala," Before Radley could now speak again.
"It only lasts a few seconds," Radley said.
Elliot tried one, his eyes illuminated for about ten seconds and went back to normal.
" Cool," said Radley before some seconds of silence.
"Well, I guess that's it. Bye," Radley took his luggage and left the door giving Elliot once last look and left the door.
For the first time he felt alone in his room.
He looked out the window and saw people going out with their luggages.
Elliot staying back. He was going to spend the holidays at the school. When Professor Winklesmut was taking names Elliot's signed his name in.
He put a his gift on his table and went to practice with his teammates who stayed back as well for the match.
